Last page was dynamite.

ALWAYS ENJOY THE SUBTLE AND CHIPPY FOOD SMACK.

I have been telling you fools to get on the Four Square rum wagon for a while, especially in the dog days of summer swamp *** heat. The exceptional cask series that they put out is elite ****. Flavor profile of a Carribean rum with the barrel finish of a bourbon -- no additives either. Unreal. Better than the Plantation, Flora de Cana, or Havana Clubs by a country mile.

Gymnastics bores me out of my mind but I can't get enough of the swimming coverage. And Tirico should have been doing this years ago. Maybe Llama's creepy *** posted it a couple days ago, but I 100% agree. HOF with amazing versatility. Volleyball *anything* is also must watch. The indoor men are on another level. Obvs the athleticism is off the charts but the timing/synchronization of sets and kills is what sets it apart for me. Basketball elites read and react, but the vball dudes HAVE TO BE that plus a step ahead in order to be successful.

Cason Wallace is my # 1 want. He does it all. Jrue Holiday comp immediately comes to mind. Sharpe already seems in the bag so EEEEEK.

Panicle hydrangeas are starting to change over into the pink/red. Time to flex for a couples cookout this weekend.

Work sucks. Automotive industry is in disarray and doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon. Joe's got this though.

This place is two blocks from my house.

link: Charlie's

It's amazing. Their entire menu.....

- wedge salad
- huge pile of onion rings
- a few cuts of meat
- a few sides
- ice cream

Ask for a menu and get clowned. Order medium or hotter and get clowned. Ask for the "little sissy baby girl steak" (the petite filet that's the size of a brick) and get clowned. I feel like it's everything Pat's is "supposed" to be.

- Just got to see what was likely Scherzer's last start as a Nat 🥺. A complete badass but their farm system needs serious restocking, but a little less to send him to the AL would be preferred. Don't want to face him the next few years.

- Strolled in for my semi-annual tooth cleaning earlier. Hung out in the lobby for five minutes reading about steak, then was summoned back to the chair.

As I approached the doorway the dental assistant asked if I have a mask? To which I replied, "not on me." He told me per CDC guidelines I need to wear a mask back to the procedural area.

I asked him why would I need one to walk 20 feet, to then lay in a chair for 45 minutes with my mouth wide open while someone cleans, flosses and does whatever else.

"Per CDC" was his response

That's some Simone Biles level mental gymnastics there folks. Not sure how anyone can go along with that rationale?

Also anyone have recs on a good dentist in the 502?

So Wayne provides analysis on Pretzel's IG posts, Boat is clearly obsessed with Anth, Chumps wants to fire the volunteer assistant soccer coach for Trinidad and Tobago, and UKO is UKO, but I'M the one described as "creepy"?

I am not sure why you’re surprised healthcare settings are still requiring masks.

Be a dick about it, though- it’s the dental assistant’s fault.

Was a rather normal conversation, wcc. Asked why, and they told me the reason and I said thanks and walked out.

Not sure if you know this but people can choose to go elsewhere when they disagree with a regulation or rule.

You’re not going to find a healthcare setting where you can go maskless. Not even in wideopen states.

But way to make a point, I guess.

Mrs Rudd got me the solo stove "bonfire" ...any must have accessories, gyero?

segunda got me some handmade lavender soap and a lovely card with a touching original soliloquy on how great I am.

prima got me a strokes record...and a card that said "happy 4th (with a 9 scribbled between the 4 and the "th") birthday princess". It came with hair barrettes.

^life ain't all bad, gang.

wcc walks into a Subway, and while the artist picks their nose, brushes their hair back, swipes their iPhone, handles cash, and coughs into their hand, he appreciates the fact they're wearing rubber gloves to stop the spread of germs.

(i've got several more of these posts ready, so just bear with me. it's wcc pile on day).

That’s funny, PTI- keep’m coming.

In my field of work, a lot of our people have been treated poorly lately regarding this masking stuff, and frankly a bunch of other ********, too. I hear it every day. It’s not their call or their fault. I am defensive about it, obviously.

At this point, the mask mandates are just there to divide people up anyway. Everyone was getting "systemic racism" fatigue and it's too soon to try something new like "Asian hate" again after it didn't create the intended backlash.

But masks can still get people to scream at their neighbors in public from their pedestal of virtue!
