I gave my father in law (not much of a drinker) 2 fireball shots thinking we’d stay up and watch game together. At about 8:20, he pulls a “well I’ll cya in the morning...this fireball is no joke”. Hope he wakes up tomorrow morning.

What a joy watching two teams running (no GGGOOOO) fun offensives...:eek:r whatever, I’m drunk. Exactly what the Final Four should be.

I hate Mick Cronin more than anyone...but he’s abandoned his nasty slow **** & let his hot team & players PLAY, so props to that weasel.

I really enjoy that team.

That said; I’m not sure what else they could have done better - and they still somehow trail at half.

I kinda feel like UCLA needed to hold the lead, even if just by one point, going into halftime, just from a psychological standpoint. They played really well and still trail.

^could cut out a couple dumb turnovers and gotten a better whistle. Also didn’t have Campbell for 8 minutes or so. But yeah, they aren’t shooting any better than that. As close to their A+ game as you could hope for. Playing at their pace.

Gonzaga just runs a sophisticated offense and always takes the right shot. Their transition passing is a thing of beauty. Helps that they have absolute ballers at every position.

I’m drinking a cask strength HillRock Noble Rye pick from NY. This **** is my 2021 Whiskey of the Year so far... It is so complex.

Making Italian Cheesecake for Easter. Pizza Dolce with some phenomenal ricotta.

Pizza Ghiena next. Hope I’m sober enough to pull it off. Family recipes from the foot of Vesuvius.

If you were to tell me that UCLA winning the title would lead to Cal being fired immediately AND Mitch would make a great hire, then yes, I would be cheering for UCLA. But the chance of either of those happening is zero, so go Zags!

Wait, nobody here is actually rooting for UCLA in this game, right? We're trying to catch UCLA. Who gives a f*** about Gonzaga going undefeated compared to UCLA being a game away from #12? Maybe I'm getting old and obsolete, but rooting for UCLA in a Final Four is sacrilegious.

If Mick fn Cronin has the same # of titles as Cal does at UK, and extends UCLA’s lead over us well, that ain’t my problem.

I’m buying a Johnny jersey and just might stay a Bruin fan because it makes me feel good to watch a tough, scrappy team upset an undefeated team.

Im willing to slander a referee’s business on Facebook to defend Johnny’s honor, too. The whistle went straight stupid at the 9minute mark, and I expect that to happen again if it stays close.

I mean none of this is "our problem." What does that even mean? Catching UCLA is the great white whale of being a Kentucky basketball fan. I thought that was a universally accepted fact.

I disagreed, but I can at least sort of understand the guys last week saying they were going for UCLA with the understanding that Gonzaga was standing in the way of #12. But play time is over. Bruins gotta go.
