I don’t give a **** about UCLA as ALL their success was basically within 1 decade 10 years before I was born.

I do however prefer Gonzaga not win and Bama/Michigan give 2 teams that could flat out compete with them so I’d prefer Alabama winning tonight.

That’s really all I care about. Personally I’m cheering on Houston just so a former IU coach can win it all somewhere else.

Real talk, though - Jacquez is my favorite player in the tournament. Love his feel for the game.

Must be nice having two big playmaking wings. Really thought we were getting that this year.

I’ve grown to like that whole team. That little PG, Singleton and Riley, of course Juzang too.

Seems like a team that struggled some to learn, put it together late but has that 1 year too early feel.

Next year could be big for them if Cronin doesn’t run everyone off.

Chumps was ranting on IG yesterday about the USMNT U23 loss to Honduras 🤣

No clue how that idiot has the time or energy to keep up and actually care about 27 different teams and sports from all over the country and WORLD - never seen anything like it.

Monday randoms...

- I never root for UCLA (for obvious reasons) but part of me last night rooting for them just as a big FU to the SEC. UCLA isn't going to win it all anyhow so why not.
- 3 days before our big flight to CT. ALL the distractions in the world have been obtained and are ready to go. But we are dealing with a child who once slept only 45 min on a 17 hour drive so I'm expecting the worse.
- Building a house down here is a SLOW process....seems like the county has to do an inspection after every step in the process. GC keeps telling us by Thanksgiving but I'll believe it when I see it.
- If the Zags don't win it all this year it will be every bit of the choke job as we had in 2015.
- No Friday 5 or Monday 5 but have been on a Stick Figure kick lately.
- Going to visit the in-laws is stressful enough but doing it with divorced in-laws just makes the whole trip a non-stop grind. 6 days will feel like a blur.
- Is there a more unlikeable coach to look at other than Mick Cronin?
- 20 mo old is going through a hitting phase now...any and all comers, dogs are included too. Give her a timeout, timeout over, go hit the dog in the head with a block.
- How are Justus and Barbee still employed?
- Watched highlights of our 1992 S16 matchup vs UMass the other day. Think the Cats were in trouble until that BS technical they called on Cal for being outside the coaches box when the play was happening on the OTHER end of court.
- Who's everyone got for the Masters? I guess I'll take DJ for a repeat.

- Succeeded in surprising my bestie for her birthday. I can't believe we actually pulled it off, we met them at a restaurant and she had absolutely no clue. Plus, I finally got to meet her little girl. She is a doll, and was in a great mood the whole weekend--not a given with a 9mo old, so very cool. It's fun to watch little ones figure out the world. My bf got to finally meet them and was insta-best friends with her husband and his buddies. Always awesome when worlds collide and mesh perfectly. Plus, their side of Nashville didn't flood and I think this is the first post-trip Monday of my working life I haven't felt completely frazzled. 10/10, can't wait to do it again.

- IU, lol.

- I don't want to remember how atrocious last March 29th was, but man does it make me thankful for this March 29th. What an insane world that was. Mundane Monday in 2021 is a helluva good day. Plus, no government induced guilt trips about Easter with family (I mean, I'm sure there are some, but lol who is even listening now).

- I grilled 3.3 lbs of steak last night for my meal prep. I'm going to turn into boat. #chomp

^ Rack Hyman. Other thoughts:

-Great to see that RB have the fastest car at the moment. I hope they can continue to develop their car, and based on previous seasons, I would expect that they can. This is going to be an epic battle between RB and Merc.

-Poor max must be gutted. He should have won that race, but you can clearly see that he missed the T4 lines because he over steered and had to apply opposite lock causing him to drift too wide. Shame. By the end of the race, he had got his tyres back, and if the race was one lap longer he would have had another chance to overtake. Better luck next time.

-Hamilton yet again delivered a master class. He is making a habit of holding onto a lead with dead tires. He had no right to win today, but somehow pulled it off. Congrats. Merc will need to points because RB are coming for them...

-Good to see Ferrari making a big step. Nostalgic to see Ferrari and McLaren fighting each other for position. Shame it’s not yet for the lead, but I live in hope that 2022 will be better now that both teams have sorted out their PU issues.

-Nice debuts for most of the newbies today. Perez, sainz, yuki, Alonso - all did well today.

-Maze-spin has taken over the mantel of worst muppet driver on the grid in one race. Truly terrible. Spins twice in quali. Spins on T3 of lap 1 in the race. Pathetic.

-Its going to be long 3 weeks till the next race!

So will the title drought be a 1978-1996 (18 yrs) or 1998-2012 (14 years)

We are currently on year 9 without a title.

So a title by 2026 or a title by by 2030? Both prospects are kind of sickening.

Alabama had a likeable team that played a good brand- I wasnt pulling against the players as much as I was pulling against the ongoing happiness of their fans. The new basketball gurus that have come out of the woodwork and had the audacity to talk condescendingly about UK basketball was just too much to handle, and its nice to see them fall back down to earth. My wife included.

Mya, Aaliyah, Monica, Ashanti- I mean the 90's R&B gals were :fire:

I'm anti fantasy football, but my buddies here have a long-standing group where the last place guy is subject to a certain humiliation... this years guy just had sit at a brewery for like 5 hours yesterday at a table that said "Free Caricatures". The rest of them went around handing out flyers all over for it. This guy had no artistic ability at all and the reactions from people getting their drawing back was pretty confused... IIRC last years loser had to sit at a waffle house for 24 hours, eating 1 waffle per hour, on the hour. Think he lasted 16 hours eating but they made him sit there the rest of the time.

Wait and see approach with Mike Woodson but just seems unless a lot of other guys werent interested at all- thats a safety backup type of hire.

Hard to not get wrapped up in the hype with Coen already. Players seem to be buying in- Fall could be fun.

Skipping Derby and Oaks altogether this year, probably wont make the trip home- wait another year until its full throttle again.

All racing died on July 13, 1993 when Winston Cup legend David Carl Allison perished in a helicopter crash.

-Pretty sure the actual sitting in a WH for 24hrs is the worst part of that punishment. You would have to use the WH bathroom multiple times. [sick]
