- I thought Bristol managed a bookstore? Always pictured him as some pedantic fellow with wire rimmed glasses.

- I’ve taken to signing my name as “Fu*kFace” at establishments that still require me to sign a credit card receipt. Sadly, I’ve received no inquiries as to whether I am in fact Fu*kFace.

- I really love gin, but my wife doesn’t let me keep it in the house anymore. This morning’s conversation made me nostalgic.

- Would have commented then, but was following Gyero clandestinely while defending the deposition of a manager who was accused of licking his lips and making a “clicking” sound whenever he talked to a female subordinate. He didn’t seem too creepy, and I suspect it was ********, but who knows. #MeToo has been great for business.

- Regardless, the Clown hit nail on head re. a jug of Beefeaters in the freezer. 94 proof straight to the dome. Will take you from forlorn to perfectly agreeable as quickly as Doc’s Porche hits 60 on a suburban culdesac.

- This morning’s conversation re. sleep also made me forlorn. I’ve been tired for years. I am just perpetually zombie tired in my body, tired in my mind, and tired in my soul. If I encountered a genie in a bottle, I’m not wishing for a trillion dollars. I’m wishing for a weekend at a Hilton by my goddamned self with no phone and no kids and no sun so I can just f**ing sleep for once in my goddamned life.

- rudd, been meaning to ask you - at what temperature does Sheetrock ignite/combust? I’ve tried to find an answer online, but the authorities are all over the goddamned place. TIA. (Edit - looking to get rid of some **** we tore out at the lake house - no need to worry, @lurkerfiremarshall)

Couldn’t sleep last night so left before sunrise to catch a mess of bass and crappie. Figured 24 or 25 would be enough so loaded up and quit around 9:00. Dropped the fish and equipment off and headed out to pick morels. Got a couple of pounds and headed home for lunch. Gave the fish to a friend as well as some morels since I don’t eat fish and everyone here likes them together. Messed with the boat for awhile then cooked up the rest of the morels with dinner. Was in a good happy place until I read I should be getting 8 hours of sleep, having wild monkey sex as soon as my eyes open, doing 12 jobs at once, Cal’s leaving, unions suck and people don’t enjoy a good gin and tonic anymore.
WTF

While Billy Ripken may take offense unless you have a question about the legitimacy of the transaction you probably won’t ever receive any notice.

The paper facing of gypsum board will ignite at 451, but the gypsum inside won’t burn without an industrial furnace.

The answer is in the propriety eponym you’re using. You’re essentially trying to burn rocks, that happen to be in sheet form... and these particular rocks “lock in water” to boot, which will make them even harder to burn than “dry” rocks.

It’s a real technological marvel.

So Billions so far is about the USA for the SDNY targeting an capital firm run by a “bad boy” investor and the prosecutor’s wife works for said firm and it proceeded past the first episode with the whole conflict issue not squashing the case. K.

I’m gonna do my first butt in the smoker tomorrow, prayers appreciated. Also doing a bologna chub. I’ve probably already posted this but I’m drunk and don’t care.

Geez, Max. It’s television. Not everything is the hot and heavy NKY circuit.

My mom is texting me asking what I think about the rumors that Cal is leaving. The last time my mom “had some UK scoop”, she called me certain that Coach Stoops was rather involved with a co-ed.

I saw some pics of her on Facebook lately, her **** looks good. If you need me to go " set her straight" about starting rumors, just let me know.

That's the dream but I would **** it up with this odd anxiety I get when trying to nap. Between being worried about having to wake up and my phone deciding to buzz overdrive anytime I try to get a quick nap. I just lay there anymore wishing I were actual napping.

Hey Fu*kface,

Remember all the soot, dust, and ash in the air that flooded Manhattan after the Twin Towers (RIP) fell? A sizeable portion of that was the dust in sheetrock that didn't burn in a fire that was hot enough to decay structural steel in a well-built high rise. Don't screw around with it.

* "Proprietary eponym." :flush:

* The Chauvin trial is set to start Monday. I'm no Minnesota lawball but the odds of that thing going off without a hitch seem very low. I'm glad I'm not involved with that. Hopefully there is no rioting from either side of crazy when the verdict comes out, I guess.

Don't abuse authority and don't do fentanyl, kids.

* Today's forecast of a high of 69 and sunny puts a hop in my step. Giddy up and go with Spring!

Looking forward to Easter and the salvation of the ****** *** last twelve months, tbh. He Arose and whatnot.

Sheetrock is a UL approved component in fire rated structural systems. In other words, it won't burn with just your run of the mill flame.

Watching The Andy Griffith Show with the youngsters while B$ sleeps in. I sleep in tomorrow.

Pat's cheesesteaks for dinner tonight via goldbelly, stoked. Never had a true Philly cheesesteak before.

Gonna search the creek bottoms for some morels today myself.

Basketball today. Meh, whatever. I'm sure I'll watch and enjoy.

Today's weather is going to be perfect.

The gypsum rated assemblies compartmentalize the framing (both sides) and protect it in a 1:1 ratio of thickness in inches to time of failure. 1” of gyp on each side = 1 Hr rating

<~~~ Tony Luke’s Cheeseteaks but better pork brocolirabe sammy

I wonder where the line is in the state that separates people that call them morels and people that call them dry land fish

What do people think UK’s trajectory would have been if they hired Schnellenberger?

(The first time I really watched/was interested in UK football was the Peach Bowl year w/Moe as a kid.)

Should have been hired in 1981 instead of Jerry Claiborne. That's not a knock on Claiborne but he was an old man when he got here, Howard had his best years ahead of him.
Claiborne was only 52 when he was hired by UK. If you look at their resumes up to that point, it’s fair to see why Claiborne was hired, especially considering he wanted it much more than Howard did at that time.
