1- Cawood you better sip that makers slow, you will not get that again.

2- Why would anyone want those picks vs getting some damn players? They never actually tank to get anything too high for the elite picks anyway.

3- Too add to the guys liking certain easier to find bottles, EW stuff at their distillery is easy to get, Buffalo Trace dropping the 3rd week of the month, and 4R or HH dropping stuff at this gift shops regularly has made getting most stuff a lot easier.

Regardless of that going to Westport W&W for some very affordable priced pours of rare stuff is a great way to spend an hour or 2 as well.

5:00 am wake up for Dad. Peace and quiet. Watch Billons. Crush coffee. Hit the pavement to choice tunes.
"Hate is natures most perfect energy source. It's endlessly renewable." - b. axelrod

Think Cal needs to watch that episode and find his balls this offseason. And replace Joel with that quant they/them character if we're going to go full analytics. No chance in hell Taylor would have us playing hot potato with the ball 30' from the basket and taking contested 19 footers.

- Low fat, low carb, high protein isn’t a fad. You’re probably thinking of that bajank keto high fat diet or some other voodoo you dabbled in before an SECT and immediately jettisoned once your March tour de force kicked in.

- Figured taking a shot at my calves from my burner account would bolster its authenticity. did it work?

- I'd pay mid-five figures for a Mutts Cutts van.

- Established distilleries is the way. You can get a damn good bottle from Buffalo, OldFo, Turkey, 4R for $30 and it slaps every time. The fly-by-nighters is a roll of the bones.

- Friday 5 Billions soundtrack edition:
'Master of Puppets' - Metallica
'A Legend in my Time' - Johnny Cash
'The Killing Moon' - Echo & the Bunnymen
'In the Evening' - Zeppelin
'Remember to Breathe' - Sturgill

It’s really hard to top a silent house before the sun comes up. I will get up as early as it takes to achieve this
One time my wife decided she was going to start getting up early so she could get a jump on the day, etc. That week was the closest we have ever come to divorce. I literally wanted to murder her if I heard her feet hit the floorboards before 6:15.

Luckily, she gets it. In college, she stayed with her parents her freshman summer. She made the mistake of going to the kitchen about 5 am to get a snack. Her dad was sitting in his tighty-whities smoking a cigarette and reading the paper. She started to ***** at him and tell him it was gross or whatever.

The old boy looked her in the eye and told her, "This is my time and this is my house." Love that guy.

9:30 bedtime for wife and I. Our kid rarely sleeps past 6:30am and still sprinkles in
2-3 5am or earlier wake ups per wk. The unknown wake up time gives us anxiety each night. The mornings we are all up at 5am account for 98-99% of all fights in our house.

I usually fall asleep on the coach around 10:30 and then wake up in a state of confusion around 1:00. I can’t fathom voluntarily waking up at 5:00 for anything. Even GD chickens aren’t up that early.
-False, they start around 3:30-4. They live all around me and crowing as I type.

-the morning golden hour is the best. My favorite time of day when I’m in a relationship.

- PTI’s buddies giving me a handle of triple sec...hilarious. I don’t know if you’d use a handle in a lifetime much less on a week vacation. Either way, it hasn’t been cracked because I’m not over here making margs or cosmos at the house.

I GET the bourbon craze but I actually don’t. Good for the state? I mean, crack a bottle and enjoy, right? It’s not all that different. At least Brady is making money off people spending exorbitant amounts of money on sports cards. But to me it seems like adults bragging about their newest Cal Ripken Jr card, no?

I'm usually in bed within 20 minutes of 10pm, then spend 30-60 minutes reading. Usually wake up naturally between 6 and 630.

Neither is skipping breakfast, bro-tato chip.

What bonz lacks in calves he makes up in bounciness.
For a guy who's health, fitness and nutrition regimen has been as volatile as GME's YTD numbers, you sure do speak confidently about a topic you've clearly not mastered.

Stick to dabbling in woodwork and sending back perfectly good steaks.

My new client on my project wakes up at 5 AM, starts working at 5:30 AM, shuts it down at 9:30 PM, eats one meal per day, and expects the same out of me (less the meal plan). The saving grace is that he lives in California, so at least my day begins at 8:30. This applies to weekends too, although he does start each of the 35 emails he sends me with "no action required this weekend, but..." Anybody hiring?

Love getting up early and not rushing in the AM. I usually get to the office before everyone to have some uninterrupted time before the fire drills start, plus i'm about 45 mins in BFE from downtown so that has to factor into my morning routine. I also bounce 3-4ish to get some extry outdoor evening time.

Once you push up the bedtime its not bad at all, no way could I go to bed at 11 and still get up at 5ish daily.

- My sleep life has been great until the last few nights when my little girl has decided to wake up and squeal and roll around and talk to herself for an hour at 2am.

- I guess I’m an outlier because I don’t love Billions. It’s ok. I don’t get the relationship between Bobby and his therapist and I don’t buy her being married to Paul Giamatti. I tire quickly these days of shows where one huge thing after another happens in a series. To a lesser degree, that’s my issue with Breaking Bad too (a much, much, much better show fwiw). I enjoy Succession much more than Billions.

- Gary Allan the most underrated man in 90s/early 00s country music?

- Lol at SAE’s bourbon nerd mockery. He’s not wrong. I roll my eyes daily at the turds in my Facebook bourbon group. These f’ing guys ...

- Really enjoyed “The Last Blockbuster” Netflix doc. Funny that something like a video store can bring back so many great memories.

- Tell you what - Leslie Mann has to be one of my favorite actresses of all-time. Even before I knew her name, I remember her stealing scenes in movies like “She’s the One.” Attractive and have always found her hilarious.

At 43, I had no idea the level of energy would drop so much from say 35. I go to bed around 9:30 and am up by 6. But when I wake up I don’t feel real rested.

When I just read about Tommy up for 60 hours straight in Vegas it makes me tired. Getting old sucks.

-i get up around 7, get outta bed around 9.

Their best song off that scorching debut album. Think we jammed out on that at your shop, no?

- Love Succession, need a new season ASAP.

Billions constantly shows the struggle of the self-made man vs. the silver spoon ivy leaguer who inherited everything. Free market vs. government oversight and in many ways, the law is the shadier of the two.

- That table where we sample the brown is kick ***, I do say.

- On the weekdays go to bed between 10:00-10:30. I can roll with 7 hours of sleep.

- I think the writing in Billions is fantastic. Sometimes the cat and mouse games get old but the scenes in and around New York, the cinematography and that lifestyle is fascinating. The show does a great job exploiting that life is complex and at times there’s no clear cut good vs bad.

Also, Wendy Rhoades is straight 🔥🔥🔥.

One of the writers for Billions pays homage to Kentucky and Louisville in subtle ways. Many references to the Derby, they’re always sipping Michter’s, the one big investor in Season 1 or 2 from Lexington in the horse biz, the Sturgill “Remember to Breathe” exit in Season 5 and there’s the one liner about Darrell “Dr Dunkenstein” Griffith from Wags.

- I get my second shot today. #Blessed.

- Guy’s dinner tonight at our club. 32 of us in a private room. Ball busting. Domestos flowing. An agreeable meal. The works.

- Thinking about taking the Lassies to the Botanical Gardens tomorrow followed by some patio time, grilling and outdoor viewing of hoops.
