What a sad era for Kentucky football, when the commitment of a future 98th-overall pick was so highly coveted we actually allowed him to drag his morbidly obese brother and completely ineffective dad along with him. Anyone else in that family we had on payroll? Can't remember if I'm missing 1 or 2.

-Granted I wasn't trying to get anything done the room(one of the 2 houses) I stayed in was pretty private. One of the guys I was with spent all night throwing up in the adjacent room and I didn't hear a thing. Restaurant over at Shaker is really good, close to distilleries, Danville, Lawrenceburg, etc. Arrange a tasting with Dixon, nice dude, and he'll bring out his private stuff. Believe our lineup was GTS, RR, Stagg Jr, 4R all picks. Anyway, much better than staying in Downton Louisville right now. They left us a bottle of his Four Roses BP on the front porch with several glass and some ice. We sat out there sipping in the rocking chairs shooting the ****. Great team building. We did a horse farm tour, which was a great time.

A stop in Midway would indeed be cool. Grab lunch at Heirloom. Take the long way around through the horse farms and Versailles, go over the bridge into Lawrenceburg, tour Wild Turkey and(or) 4 Roses, then 127 down to Harrodsburg. That corridor is my favorite area in the state.

-"I'll circle back after you have a chance to review that, k?" 🤬

-What time does Texas play this weekend? Asking for a friend.

-Didn't see any comments on Captian America. Nice start to the series with tons of action. Good switch up from Wanda.

-This GYERO started after the season in 2015. So it's not the jinx. The jinx is UK changing the rotation of the K flag at the under 8 timeout. I've tried telling them this but to no avail.

Un-PC take on Deshaun Watson and definitely open to change my opinion based on further evidence:
  • Dude obviously has a thing for hooking up with masseuses; it's not like he couldn't get it elsewhere - he just liked going about it this way
  • Went over the line on what's appropriate, definitely pushed the limits in terms of what is a crime
  • Many of the women knew what they were getting into, but a lot of them didn't
  • I don't think the Texans are pushing this; if he were a free agent that would make sense, but he's under contract
  • I don't see how he plays this year

TSK nearly got me held in contempt of court for laughing during my client's plea this morning on Zoom. My guy shows up on Zoom and he's in front a big *** fish tank (like one of those that walmart keeps all their fish in). Middle of the thing TSK texts me "that's a kickass fishtank" and I struggled to keep it together. I really didn't want to explain to the judge why I was in my office, alone, laughing during my client's plea.

Congrats to TSK on convicting your client.

* Asking for recs on GYERO can be a little much, to say the least. Akin to asking for a sip of water, then standing directly in front of a firehose with your mouth wide open.

But there ya go, wcc. You now have 4,917 different ideas on what to do over that 24-hour window.

* Booking hotels in major destinations like Vegas is interesting. You get all excited that Harrah's is only $31/night, and for 2 nights the total comes out to......$172. Wait. What??

* Never like jumping to conclusions during high profile cases involving sex, but I will echo previous comments = Deshaun Watson appears to be in a helluva lot of trouble.

* Speaking of trouble.....NBA Young Boy arrested yesterday. He's 21 -- and has SEVEN kids.

* Top 5 No Limit Records albums:

1> Ghetto D (Master P)
2> Tru 2 da Game (TRU)
3> MP da Last Don (Master P)
4> Charge It 2 Da Game (Silkk the Shocker)
5> Unpredictable (Mystikal)

* Hitting the Google machine looking for updates on the IU coaching search, and came across some real gems...

- Dane Fife's wiki page lists him as the CURRENT head coach at IU
- Mike Woodson and Larry Brown are rumored to be a combo deal
- Calbert Cheaney's name is in the mix, with AJ Guyton and Alan Henderson pressuring the school to give him a shot

Potential disaster all over the place. HUBER-giddy.

* Happy National Puppy Day. /late

The hidden $50 "resort fee" is ******** and there should be bipartisan support to eliminate this as it should just be part of the room rate.

If Young Bleed isn’t in your top 5 No Limit Records, I assume you just don’t know about that album. #2 easy passing all on that list except Ghetto D.

  • Haven't had to do any zoom court in VA. :raised_hands:
  • Grill thread got me fired up. Smoking a pork butt this weekend and having over all my [vaccinated] neighbors over on Saturday. Gonna eat and drink together and throw on an outdoor movie on the projector. Basic theme: eff covid and cold weather.
  • I've heard Crime and Sports mentioned as a worthy podcast in this thread, but never anything about Small Town Murder. Same guys do both show, and it's great content for long drives.
  • So Iowa ladyhoops had a player that outscored UK by herself. That isn't very good, imo. #nobodycares
  • The NBA MVP race is interesting. So many impressive players to consider. Dame is on another level and barely cracking the top 5. When it's all said and done, that dude might hold the unenviable title of most underrated.
  • I'll actively root against Terrance Clarke's success. Haven't been there yet with one of our guys. Somewhat apathetic, sure, but with TC I'm hoping his little stunt becomes a cautionary tale.
  • Does everybody make a seltzer now? Truly Lemonade still make the best product.
  • Covidbros, did the masks have a good net impact on flu outbreak this year? I wouldn't mind just throwing one on during the cold months for the greater good. Plus, I only shave like 3 days a week now. Pretty nice.
  • The NBA has gotten really carried away with the alt unis. At first glance, I have no clue who is who anymore. Houston in baby blue ....because the Oilers?? Just stick to some semblance of color scheme. Don't care if they have new unis every night, but let's hone in our branding.

@Mossip, Small Town Murder is my favorite pod of all time. I also saw them do a STM live show at Bogart's a couple years ago and they're even better in person. Please let me know when you get to the "Pocket Robin" episode.
