So what's the answer then? If a guy beats his man off the dribble does he just get to take it straight to the rack and if there's any contact at all it's a foul on the defense?
It’s a no call. If the defender is set he gets to stay put and if the offensive player can finish over him so be it.

That’s the thing with even the primary block/charge...it should be obvious one way or another, if not, just let the play be the play.

* Every time I visit my daughter and son-in-law in Alexandria, he has goetta in the refrigerator, he says it is good and he loves it, but I have never seen him cook and eat it once. I wonder if it is the same goetta that has been there for years and he just claims to like it because Northern KY.

* I have an unreasonable dislike of Dr. Oz as Jeopardy host. I think it is both his irritating nasal yankee accent along with thinking he is an absolute quack.

* Paducah is in the process of creating an entertainment district downtown by the riverfront. This would mean that within the confines of the district, restaurants and bars can sell alcohol in go cups and people can walk around the district with the drinks, and drink in public. A mini Bourbon Street if you will.
This is so mind boggling and so amazing for the town, that I just can’t imagine that the far right mega church “Christians” aren’t planning to do whatever is necessary to stop this, but so far it looks like a go.

Heady times in the river city!

First I’ve heard of this but I like it. Now I can have cold one while I’m fishing at the foot of Broadway. Hell, I won’t care if I I don’t catch anything if i can do it with a buzz.

It was on the news tonight. They are trying to do it to help all the downtown restaurants/bars to recover from Covid. It seems surreal after living here so many years and watching progress of any kind squashed over and over. Shew weeee! Just pray it actually happens.

You are all morons. Help defense is a normal part of the game. The rules re: block or charge shouldn't change depending on who is the primary or secondary defender. And what if you're playing zone? When the help defender comes over find an open man. That's basketball.

There’s a joke somewhere, right on the tip of my tongue, about a penis getting stuck inside YOUR MOM, but I just can’t piece it all together right now.

Stay tuned.

~Biden has vaulted past Obama in just a couple of months as the worst POTUS in our lifetime. Truly pathetic.

Is it really that hard for a professional QB’ (and a top10 one at that) who have signed $160mm contracts to get booty without having to go the masseuse route and flying them in from all over the country? Seems like a lot of work for someone when it should be fairly easy.

Much easier for me to get over these disaster seasons than ones in which we get close.

Lass and I went there for an anniversary a few years ago. Pleasant evening, but a bit unnerving when getting something done. Kind of felt like waxing in your inlaws house over the Holidays while everyone tries to sleep.

Booked an evening at the Beaumont Inn on Anth’s recommendation.

The Old Owl down in the cellar is a nice little spot with a pretty decent bourbon bar. Might even run into Larry Vaught if you're lucky.

Not much else to do in Harrodsburg tho. Shaker Village? lol. Fudge Co is a good lunch spot (when it's open) That's about it.

Figured we’d stop somewhere for lunch on the way down. I’m not even sure where Harrodsburg is to be perfectly honest.

If you can hit the Fudge Co, it is my favorite lunch spot in any small town in KY. Pre-COVID, I hit up a lot of those spots. It is amazing -- or was the times I have been.

This is baby animal season, so SV would be a good spot too. I've only bv eaten there a couple of times, but it was very good.

A girl I went to high school with is in charge of their farm operations.
