We're on the same page with my distain for MegaChurches, WCC. You know that. I still don't really know what QAnon is.
I genuinely like everyone I work with within our group and you can easily convince me for a quick frosty post work on a Thursday but it never fails when a hen wants to do a get together it’s always on a Monday or Tuesday.
I have no desire to do anything remotely social on those days that involves alcohol. I want to get home, get a run in and see my family.

Well, didn’t want to do it but finally contacted lawyers today about my former business partner owing me money. A year and a half is patient enough and I got tired of having it hang over my head. Never had to have lawyers involved with anything so it’s all new to me. Maybe if nothing else it’ll startle him into paying me, who knows?
The Q doc on HBO is pretty awesome. And every single person involved is an even bigger loser than expected. Unreal how terrible these people are.

- Kessler transferring from UNC is as surprising to me as that O'Connell kid transferring from Duke. Both seemed tailor-made for their respective programs.
- I'm still good with Ernie/Kenny/Chuck being in studio for the tournament (though it's starting to wear a bit thin, especially Kenny), but those Capital One commercials with Sam/Spike/Chuck can get out. THE ANNAPOLIS!!! lol
- Coaching hires typically go in pendulum swings, so while I think Beard, Moser, etc. would do really well at IU, I think Beilein still makes the most sense. He's the anti-Archie...older, more offensive-minded, more personable, etc. Their AD has seen how that kind of hire can energize a fanbase because Allen has done the same for their FB program. Beilein would inject instant credibility, a proven record in the Big Ten, and there would be zero buyout. Matta is solid but was slipping even before he resigned. Beilein won 63 games over his last two years at Michigan.
- While I definitely do NOT want an Iowa/Loyola title game, it would be something to see Garza and Krutwig go toe-to-toe.
- College coaches are walking a tightrope right now when it comes to the portal...do you go after the fish who are already out there? Or do you wait for the remaining 24 teams(and NIT teams, I guess) to lose in the hopes that bigger fish decide to make themselves available? Fill out your roster now and you might miss out....wait too long and you lose the ones who have already portaled(?).

Kenny Smith is awful. He talks like the audience doesn't understand basketball and he's the lauded professor who must explain the complicated intricacies of the game. It's not rocket science, Kenny. It's a game Helen Keller could analyze.
* I actually agree with rudd that it's not cool to slut shame Brittany Renner, but I do think it's within bounds to clown PJ Washington for acting like he won some kind of a gd trophy when he took that down. It's a participation trophy, if anything. Because, as we all know, she's a slut.

I really don't like the "up 3, foul the other team to prevent them from tying the game" element of the game. I get why you do it obviously, but have always felt like it was bad form and just bad sports.
MY SOLUTION: If you foul up 3 in the last :15 - :30 of a game the other team should get a third free throw if the shooter makes his first two. It still might make sense to foul the guy, but at least the other team has a chance to tie the game.

Really, really good... and really, really depressing. Loved it but don't see too many people rewatching that one.

Southernmost is a good book that ties KY and KW. Good read. Educated is really good as well but you may have read that already. Be happy to mail either to anyone.

Struggling with the PAC12's successes in this NCAA-T. I mean, they won a total of like 4 games in the last 4 tournaments. This year --->
Iowa doesn't even ATTEMPT to play defense...what a shame -- b/c they'll likely NEVER have a better squad.
