Kind of curious where Krazy goes from here in GYERO if Texas loses. He's really pushed all in on 'em. Been a wild ride, but this might be it for him. Prayers up.

Don’t let the stubborn coach off that easily for “I CAN’T PLAY YOU” to the only guard who was playing defense worth a damn that day*

*forgive me because this may be bourbon revisionist history
Sorry I forgot this is the players are the reason we win and coaches are the reason we lose board

Texas might win the whole damn thing -- those guards man, too tough. /Idiotkats

Thanks in advance for the Weller 12 on the completely insane beyond comprehension Texas Natty bet, and maybe stick to bourbon, bubadilla.

What a night for BBdDrunkHighFat, good gracious. I hereby declare Covid officially over, this seals it -- congrats to ALL!

Actually our rule is made for things just like this. No matter what get it in, reminds us what we are everyday.

I've actually studied this for a good bit. While I finally determined I'm not deep enough to understand the true meaning, I just know it sounds like words to live by, so that's what I'm going to try to do.

You have my word krazy, God Bless You.

When I think modern offense, I think Mick Cronin. When I think coaches being calm and not yelling at their players, I think Mick Cronin.

It ain’t Mick.

It’s letting your shooters actually play and get in a rhythm.

So actually, that part is Mick. I guess.

I still don’t think Players shouldn’t leave when they avg 12 minutes a game as a frosh at UK. But JJ obviously made the right choice.

Wake up Cal.

* Man, I love March Madness.

* JCrow is cooler than touch. Good dude.

Always great to see WCC, too.

Thank God they were both there to console me when the Buckeyes lost. I was so distraught.

* The Virginia and Texas losses were awesome viewing tonight.

* We better pick up about 4 more transfers, IMO.

* Good night, enjoy the morning sex Krazy.

Sunday morning lurker randoms:

- not that this Kentucky team needs any more postmortems, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team struggle more to make twos. The trouble they had with layups is well-documented, but there was a total dearth of runners, turnarounds, etc. That type of shot has always been a staple of Cal’s better teams (prototypical examples being Miller’s runner and Quickley’s floater), and this team collectively had zero go-to moves of that variety. Similarly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team consistently miss even open shots *so badly.* One would lose count of the number of times Askew or Boston barely drew rim on open jumpers from the elbow. You start practicing that shot when you are 5 or 6 years old, which leads me to believe they were just psyched out all year. Wonder why that would be.

- I’ve been watching, but today is the first day I’m actually excited for the tournament. Weirdly, I’m most looking forward to Oral Roberts-Florida. Probably won’t pull the upset, but the idea of Abmas putting Tre Mann on skates has me giddy for some reason.

- Can’t stop thinking about how we had Juzang and Quickley on the bench so the Dragon and the Spaz could chase their dreams. We could easily have had Juzang, Baker, and Allen all on the floor at the same time this year.. except that would obviously never happen under the current administration. That’s basically half the recipe to one of Jay Wright’s better Villanova teams.

- Last time I posted in this thread was the beginning of the pandemic. Here’s to “opening this stuff up and seeing where it goes.” /Cal

That simple play freeing up the lefty for the wide open 3 from out top.

Shew....

Followed by slipping the big dude to the post and sealing off with Cockburn out of the game.

At some point, Underwood is going to realize they can’t let poor-man’s Jokic run point forward out front all game, or they are going to get cooked.

Moser most likely encourages his players to get run at all Chicago area playgrounds so they can get their AAU type play fix.
