—shout out to the KoC. Those Catholics have the fish fry dinner down to a science. Pull up, dude takes my order, takes my payment, pull up a little farther and a nice lady comes to the car with a tray of homemade desserts. Yep, I’ll take a piece of Derby Pie and a homemade Strawberry cake slice. Dude runs my fish out, gone in less than 5 minutes.

Last Friday it was pouring rain, so I thought I was going to be ok not getting there till after 6:00, but ::horrors:: although I got my 2 piece right away with no problems, all the desserts were gone and the dessert ladies had closed up shop FML.

Bob Huggins has definitely made a midnight drive with a body in his trunk and buried it in the desert.

Well you missed out. My “homemade” Derby Pie, warmed up with vanilla ice cream was delicious. The lass devoured the “homemade” strawberry cake. Sorry for your loss

<---- loves Bob Huggins. Seems like a cool *** dude and the kind of guy you'd like to be friends with.

* All I care about today is Eastern Washington beating Kansas. Anything else is gravy. Other than that, go Bama I guess. I would root for LSU but f*** Will Wade. If LSU is going to have a cheater, they should at least have a cool one with a huge personality and not some cubicle dweeb. Step up your game, Cajuns.

* "Oral" Roberts. Tee hee.

* I feel I have a deep sinkhole in my life (but thankfully not my yard) because I don't have a go to Catholic fish fry spot in the spring. Come to think about it, I'm not sure I've ever even been to one. Kind of embarrassing, tbh.

B Rax -- got a recommendation in Nichvegas?

* My wife is incapable of telling a story with a punchline or a point. It is charming generally unless I have to listen to some long diatribe about her co-worker losing weight or something while I am trying to get stuff done and then I just want to make sure I get my whole head in front of the shotgun.

I'm about to sucker punch a brisket.

New $90 thermometer read 205 on the grill. That felt really quick, as if the stall didn't happen.

I bring them in to re-wrap and put in a cooler and thought, why not get the temp again.

178. 178? 178?!!. Mother of **** turds. Re-wrapped with more tallow and now back on the smoker. Currently 188.

Guess I put my meat probe in too deep.
(On a tee)

Already started drinking. These things may be awesome or liquid human dog **** made of tree bark. Who knows.

The wife is about to go get me another pork belly in case they suck as a backup.

With this ringing self endorsement, feel free to come over tonight around 6. The beer will be cold...so there's that.

ThermoWorks Dot for general ballpark with no peeks & Pen for multiple pincushion probes for final temp and gerth.

still enjoying remains of a Cuban Mojo shoulder/carnitas burritos.

I like better than BBQ pulled pork.

ESPN is going whole hog on reaming Emmert because the women's teams apparently dont have a weight room.

😂 That guy is absolutely awful. If a weight room in San Antonio takes him down, fine.

The NCAA needs leadership asap.

The thread about it on rafters is hilarious. A lot of dudes that hate women over there. One guy even said, “who’s lifting during a tournament?”

idk, the entire NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB maybe?

Emmert is a clown and he (and the NCAA) should be embarrassed as hell about the disparity in set up. A rack of dumbbells that goes to what, 45 lbs? What are collegiate athletes supposed to do with that, use it as a paperweight for their bracket?

women’s basketball is AWFUL to watch, but the food, the “weight room,” swag etc is absolutely sorry. And so easy to avoid.

Emmert is a world class douchebag. That BS he pulled on Kanter and the lack of regulatory balls ever since (looking at you tarholes) proves his character. Hopefully he disappears on a trail of disgrace.
Rack this. And Seth Greenberg defending him on Gameday was peak cringe.

That dude has single-handedly made the NCAA a mockery. I mean, Will Wade is coaching in the NCAAT today after being caught on *tape* talking about paying recruits.

F*ck that guy.

^ This describes every PAC12 team in the NCAAT not named UCLA. It’s the most obscure P5 conference nobody cares about.

National media only talks about UCLA because of the Natties they won 40yrs ago.

North Texas was my upset special yesterday. Love their guard play, and they really get after it on defense. All created the perfect storm for the upset against Purdue.

Ended up positive yesterday even after I jinxed my Colgate +8 vs Arkansas, hit the second half for Arky.

Upsets today :
#13 Ohio +7 over #4 Virginia
#11 UCLA +4 over #6 BYU

Upset Alerts :

#11 Drake +7 over USC
#12 UCSB +8 over #5 Creighton (Creighton looked like pure running **** against Georgetown. The have had some WTF moments during the end of the year.

Best game today : #10 VCU vs #7 Oregon (-5)

Three stacks gets blown out and sent home talking to himself today. Iona is in way over it's head, no ****** conference teams to beat up on. Mans game, Bama drops a C-Note on them.

Feel free to double check my work on this, but Colorado goes to the tourney every single year, is typically an 8 seed, and wins exactly 1 game but no more every other year. And at most you can name 1 player in their roster, max.

Most consistently low key tournament team ever.
Tad Boyle is a good coach. He went to Kansas. I don't know if he's that level coach but I like for him for a job like Missouri.
