In the summer of 2012 when Cal and UK announced they were no longer doing a home and home with IU causing media to lose their collective minds I became unruly on Twitter and am frankly surprised I didn’t banned.

I got blocked from Bozich, Bozich Jr, Thamel, Mike Rutherford ,Adam Lefkoe, random IU bloggers, and tried everything possible to get banned by Forde but I want to think he wouldn’t do it out of spite because I look back and tweeted things at him that just weren’t right.

I MISS that 2009-2015 time period and all of the fire and rage it came with. Heady times.

Kyle Tucker became too tiresome for me on twitter as well. And it isn't just the politics; I'm left of center and probably agree with h he's insufferable about almost everything. Unfollowing him and just reading his Athletic pieces was the right move for me.

90% of you are slightly right of Attila the Hun so maybe that also plays a factor with how you perceive these folks I don't know though maybe it's just them as suggested. I still read most of your all's **** in spite of that, btw.

I shouldn’t know which way the beat writer for my beloved wildcats leans.

I don’t care if he is literally the purple teletubbie outside of his job. Just don’t shove it down everyone’s throat especially when the majority of the team you covers fans are Trumpers.

Tucker, like mags, likes to use his political leaning to play the holier than thou card and To make himself feel above Billy Joe

The thing is for some of you youngbloods that aren’t pure GenX is you didn’t grow up with the dominant value in your life being “meh, just ignore stuff and it goes away or not who cares whatever gimme a Surge”.

Does it result in my generation probably getting locked out of political leadership? Sure.

Does it make day to day life better? Oh yeah.

I agree that it's annoying but maybe you should just get some thicker skin because it's not going back to the good old days you all are romanticizing. It's 2021. People aren't one dimensional in the social media era.
Meh, if I want up to date UK sports info from the main beat writer I shouldn't have to be inundated with hollow virtue signaling. But I'm sure if he was raving about how awesome Trump is your opinion would be the same.

Just let me know if Mintz and Brooks are returning, K?

Pre-tournament ranking of TV broadcast teams...

5. Nessler/Lavin
4. Eagle/Spanarkel
3. Nantz/Raftery/Hill
2. Anderson/Jackson
1. Harlan/Bonner

Bad news...no Chris Webber. Enjoyed his calls. Best news...NO LEN ELMORE. Get out. You were the worst.

Westwood One hasn't released their broadcast teams, just names. But they have a strong slate of PBP guys (Kugler, Pasch, Benetti), and intriguing young analysts (Robbie Hummel, Jon Crispin, and Donny Marshall). Hummel is really good in his TV appearances that I've seen. Would love to see some of those young guys take over for older CBS analysts.

I know everyone is super pumped about this NCAA Tournament, but I’ve only received $40 via Venmo for brackets thus far. Thanks Booker, Terie, Chad and a co-worker. Everyone else, get on it. TIA.

@jaime-schembari

If you need another payment option, let me know.

Bryant bracket
Did a 2nd bracket and sent you the cash.

11 entries is pathetic, people. It's a good charity.

I'm cancelling my subscription to anth. His virtue signaling has bothered me for the last time.

(FTR I don't actually give a F. Let's please not ruin a good Thursday discussing this.)

-#team elmore. Primarily for his natty attire/vibe. He looks like he should be professing philosophy/history or some such.

There is a good "clutch moments in March Madness from the last 12 years on YouTube

I couldn't stand Aaron Craft but damn, that guy was involved in buzzer beaters all 4 years. 2 were losses.

I'm being a straight up grumpy, sore loser about the tournament. I'm sure I'll tune into games but it's with that attitude of "meh, whatever, we didn't want to play in your stupid tournament anyway. Instagram highlights of warehouse workouts and cool dunks are better than One Shining Moment."

That being said I can feel the spring fever coming. Vaccines are working, covid restrictions are on the verge of dialed back (or should be), Masters is around the corner, less than a month until our annual golf trip which is being renewed after missing last year (year 15, btw), fishing, turkey season, talked my boy into playing baseball. Shewww weee things are looking up!

What are you talking about? My boy Tony O'Schem is a hard core centrist.

With GYERO rivalries blazing, and with Kentucky out of the tournament, might be time to bring back the GYERO poster bracket for this year only.

Think this one was from 2006

Catsfag is gonna go HAM on this topic later

-Oh, if any of you don’t possess your family coat of arms in some form you’re a poser.

Nah Bruh, IDGAF about where I come from, just where I am going. But I spit Mountain Dew all over my monitor every time someone uses "catsfag" instead of "catsfan". You rascal, too funny.

BBDicKsmoker. ha ha, lol, OMG, changing peoples handles and making them derogatory names is so funny.

And **** 12 year olds do.

A lot of people forget that Pat Forde and Dana O'Neil elected me USBWA Poster of the Year in 2015.

The smack offs were the best. I kicked BBdk out of my house after the BCS Championship.

Beavis must've really stepped up his game, because there's no way he was a play-in-game-for-a-16-seed level when I showed up on the board.
