Need another taping of Cal at Wheeler Pharmacy with:

Pti
Anth
Tommy
Bonzo
Bbdk
Chad
UKO (creepy laugh guy)
Clown (as long as he signs affidavit not to whack anyone)

Start there and use False/GFY/GTFO/Final Warning, freely.

Might get Cal to see the light....

Woke up ready to go shitkickin' this morning.

Matt just compared Kentucky basketball to the Sopranos and...he ain't wrong. Are we in the valley, or is this the end of the line? If Cal doesn't change, I know which one I suspect. And he aint' changing. (Caveat: some of this depends on what the game as a whole does and well...I don't like the trend there, either.)

I also know this is a dumbass, reactionary thing to say, but honestly F BJ Boston. I don't care if he stays or goes. I know it's not his fault he was the Chosen One who happened to absolutely suck ***, but he's in the Ryan Harrow "just please go away" category for me.

Kansas is playing too well for my liking.

The all time wins lead is very important to me. Anyone that dismisses that just does not understand our history.

Kansas basketball had their first season in 1898-99. UK's first was 1902-03. Before we even started playing basketball, Kansas was up 19 wins. By the time we started our 4th season, they were up 36-3. So they had a head start on us anyway. And like chad said, they'll be giving some of those wins back.

But honestly, the all time wins mark doesn't mean **** to me. We racked up a lot of wins in a mediocre conference for many years. The only number that matters is titles. That is the only number that is important to me.

I think Matt pumps sunshine all year long, but now that the season's over he's saying what he really thinks. He's gotta pump sunshine to keep interest up because his business depends on Kentucky fans being invested. If he goes negative he risks fans checking out, which hurts him financially and he risks losing some of his access. But I think he also prides himself on being a voice of the fans and being real, (not getting into whether that's true.) and now that the season is over, he's going to side with the fans over Cal in this war.

TSK's Postseason Takes Brought to You by REDASS. "REDASS - F*** THIS EARTH."

- Officially Team 80 when it comes to Sarr. 10 pts and 3 boards average. GFY. Consistently getting bullied in the post? GFY

- Referees? GFY

- Whatever the **** our offensive system is? GFY. As far as I can tell, we pass the ball around, set some sh!tty screens, and accomplish nothing for 25 seconds, then someone tries to drive to the basket. GREAT EFFORT.

- Another vintage Devin Askew performance. Open 3-pointer? No, thanks, bub - there's two guys I need to drive the ball straight at. TFP. GFY.

- Terrible teams absolutely bitchslapped us all year. An they embarrassed us in the process.

- This team looks no better than it did in November. An that's the truth. They haven't improved one iota. They still make stupid mistake, they don't guard for an entire possession, they don't value the ball, and they don't hate losing.

- This team doesn't have "it". They are done.

Cal's gotten a bit too uppity. Somewhere along the way he's become confused and thinks this is his program. False, bub. This is BJW's team, and always will be. This program is absolutely nothing without the fans. Nothing.

Cal's about to see what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps if he doesn't humble himself and get his **** together.

No clue WTF you guys are talking about with Cal fighting the fan base but this is definitely the least pissed/devastated/sad after a UK loss to end the postseason since 2013 and then BCGs last year and then Tubbys last year before that. Excited to actually be able to watch the tournament like 99% of the rest of the country where I don’t give a **** who wins except for my bracket. I’ll take advantage of this feeling while I can. So thanks for that I guess

In all seriousness and now that the dust has settled about the biggest "WTF" of the year for me was Cal's sub patterns. We all know how he wants to play, agree or disagree with it (I obviously disagree), it's at least a coherent philosophy.

BUT, there was nothing coherent about his substitution patterns from game to game this season. Quite frankly, it was alarming how random and counterproductive it was to team chemistry, lineup efficiency and just overall role development.

This team was never going anywhere but there was zero excuse for being historically bad.

We wore out the name "***-kew" this year pretty well, but I don't think we spent enough time on the fact that the dictionary definition of "Askew" is "Wrong, off-balance, Gone awry." Another season let's us explore that a bit.

Askew seems like a good dude so I don't like giving him too much crap. Yeah, he has crusty the clown hair and wears fruity shoes, but he seems like a good kid. I've come around on Boston too. I hope he returns. Frankly, I think I like all these guys. They seem to be missing an adult to guide them... telling them how to read a room, present themselves well, etc. Who could that be?

What is indefensible (and unexplained) to me is the high expectations for this team. Cal fueled that (only COVID can beat us) and so did Matt Jones (talking incessantly about how "long" team was and proclaiming them the best since Fox/Monk/Bam team).

Turned out the team was the worst in history.

I would think that if Cal had an inkling that Askew wasn't ready, some of the others were overrated, etc., he would have downplayed the hype. But he did the opposite.

So, when we talk about his misses in "talent evaluation" we should also add the fact that Cal apparently watched this team play in the early season practices and thought they were a really good team, instead of the awful team they ended up being.

Not an excuse guy but Covid DID beat this team.

I know, I know Covid was everywhere and the Zags/Baylor/etc seemed to adjust just fine.

Due to the lack of experience, Kentucky missed out on what they needed most.

Not saying they would have been much better but the experiences missed beginning in May, sure did not help.

The COVID excuse made sense in December. But the team had the rest of the season to "gel". And that's what usually happens anyway with Cal's teams - shaky at first and then really good by March. So I don't think COVID explains the lack of improvement over the course of the whole season.

- Clarke’s injury/non-injury played a part. Would have been nice having two whole guys who could beat their guy off the bounce.

- Fact is Cal was off all year. Hubris. Washed up. COVID. Whatever. Dude **** the bed in every which way. No excuses. He has to fix this starting with getting guys back.

- I don’t know - something tells me the minuscule number of American trash targeting asians for hate crimes because of COVID aren’t going to engage much with pleas from the President to stop.

But by all means, media, keep spamming my Instagram and Facebook feed with the story.
