The Washington kid is fine, but second-tier if you miss on Hardy/Powell.

His 2nd choice when picking Creighton was Illinois. So if Orlando truly is coming back, that's something to watch.

Illinois is now also getting crystal ball picks for that Wisconsin shooter (Podziemski). I don't think the timing of that is coincidental, with Powell in the portal and leaning blue.

Echoing SAE on just wanting OSCAR to come in and rip souls next season. Collins appears to have Jackson's athleticism with a bit more defensive awareness. Sarr didn't want to rip out anyone's heart, and Jackson wanted to, but usually committed three fouls in the process.

All I know is, I want these dominos to start falling ASAP. Get back to Lexington, get some straightforward answers, and find out who's hitting the bricks. Then go get upgrades. Including on the staff.

- Seems like 9-10x the game that ends your season is because of the flaw you knew you had.

Of course when this team’s season came to an end, it was going to be:

- Stupidass Cal lineup at crunchtime
- A near trillion for Askew
- A donut for Boston
- Allen exposing Cal as a moron
- Sarr being a *****

- I actually enjoyed Clarke a little bit.

- Nothing left to say. Here’s to opening up the planet again, warm weather and next year, I guess.

- To those of you who traveled the diarrhea road with me these last 5 months, my eternal thanks.

Geesefeeder, I believe, said we needed to go out in the most embarrassing way possible for Cal to change. Let’s hope he’s right. If he has a competitive bone in his body, 9-16 has to spur big change in his staff, how he evaluates, how his teams play, etc.

You know his peers are snickering.

Well judging by his post game comments he is not taking any responsibility. New roster and Covid being the main reason.

Always takes me a good month to move on from the Kentucky basketball season even when we cut the nets. Probably why I am not as big on April as many here are.

I had lunch and watched the game with my old man. He doesn’t follow sports stuff really closely, other than watching the games. So I was having to explain Cal’s contract situation to him, and how it essentially is not possible to terminate it any time soon, given the payout.

He set his hoagy down and said, you know, you could probably find some good old boy who could take care of this problem for a whole lot less money than that.

And I don’t think he was completely kidding.

I mean, I had not considered simply assassinating our head basketball coach, but I guess it would be *an* option.

Dontaie is so damn good he makes Oliver Sarr decent. It’s downright amazing what having a 3pt shooter on the floor will do for the team.

Our highest ranked player next year is #19. Is that a joke? Get Cal the f out.

Like most coaches, he's worried about building his legacy more than building the school's legacy. But most coaches see the two as the same goal. Win titles and you get respect. Cal knows he can more easily get respect by having half of every NBA roster loaded up with his guys. I used to think it was just his recruiting sales pitch, but it's clearly his actual goal. Shouldn't be hard to get a coaching job, a front office gig, or even a role in the league office if there's 50-60 former players in the league. Pretty nice golden parachute.
