Rewatching the game and am more intrigued daily with Toppin (who by the way is 6'9").

The out of bounds play in the first half was impressive but it was the shot Toppin hit a couple minutes before via pull up that I really liked.

August, I can't find a place in the rotation for Allen at this time so my 37.5 minutes (lol) have been adjusted to 8-12 for Deontaie.

Hope he sticks around though....

Ha. The guy taking credit for filming the video is a Holy Cross High School alumni (I’m pretty sure).

Katina and this guy. The school just keeps messing with the UL program

Drove 05 2 hours this morning to Modesto to scrimmage against his own team because it was the nearest place we could rent a full field. Because science, of course!

His team has been ranked in the top 5 nationally the past 2 years but is now off the radar and can’t even be ranked, because they haven’t played any games. Again, because science!

I’m so ******* sick of this ****. Open up already.

I agree Doc. Once you’ve had both shots, that’s as good as it gets. Get on with your life at that point.

The gloom and doom junkies who get hard at the possibility of forever living in lockdown are just about as bad as the hoax dimwits.

You do what you can, you get vaccinated, you move on with life.

I mean, one thing I’m having trouble wrapping my head around is people who have gotten vaccinated, and still just sheltering in place out of fear of Covid...at one point do you trust the science?

Well the preliminary studies are just now coming out showing that vaccinated folks likely can’t pass the virus. So, those people actually were trusting the science.

^^What a great episode.

-Peak ScarJo is Captain America: Winter Soldier. Man, she's just about perfect in that movie.

-Saw a real life FCPS bus this morning. Good for them. Cassidy parking lot also full.

-Don't really care what the circumstances for that Mack video. That's the most embarrassing thing I've seen a coach do... and Jim Boeheim just unapologetically eats his boogers on live TV every game.

-So Wynn, you just marked "first responder" on the Kroger form? Guess they don't verify those things. Looks like So Indiana has some openings. Sounds like 1C should be starting any day now so...

-G broke out of his 1 game slump and broke one off in the IAM3RD Celtics. 16 pts on like 8/11 shooting. Dude was just Tayshaun-ing it. Pulling up just past half court.

-Greyline place is really neat. Headed over there Saturday after our game. Good to see Wilson's is still doing well. No more aged meat but I grabbed a few of their steaks for dinner and they were money. Also, had their cuban for lunch and it was serviceable. Neat concept and really cool space.

-Lex is just snowy, slushy, icy mess. Whatever that mixture was, is something else. GTFO.

-Next 3 days in the 50s. Let's effing go. Eyes on the prize. Big week ahead.

Every first piece of sports equipment I ever got was from Shively Sporting Goods. Between there and Allied Sports, I spent a good portion of my youth browsing those places. The Bases Loaded Card shop was also right in the old Dixie Manor shopping center, which was a must stop after a few rounds at Batt-n-Putt.

Dixie Manor at it's prime was dope. Card shop, Foot Locker, Billboard Record Store, Allied, Larry's and obviously The Dozen.

Anth, they did not even ask who I worked for. Just provided name, address, phone number, and DOB. Bizarre situation.

The only thing I can figure is that they had a bunch of vaccines to use up and not enough 1B people had registered. So they were just giving them out to anyone who registered. But that’s just my guess.

Same. Watched all episodes minus the final, which I will watch tonight. Recommend.

Second season confirmed as well.

I'll cop to being jealous of ladies with the dark hair/blue-green eyes combo. It's kind of the human equivalent of a husky, but it's gorgeous.

Although...the few girls I know with this combo (whether salon-acquired or natural) are a special brand of crazy-eyes nuts.

Chad quoting RCTs from Nature... 😍 and right before I hang up the cleats. Still got me for 1 more week.

I mean, he's kinda right, that we didn't know FOR SURE if it reduced transmission, but conventional wisdom says, less symptoms, less hospitals, less spread. Transmission wasn't really studied because they were only focused on keeping people out of hospitals and death. Which is how this all started, IIRC. We all know that's not good enough for people looking for a reason to stay inside(or sell clicks) though.

All I'm going to say, your team better cool it with the -> "still have to hide and mask even after the vaccine" if you want enough people to take it. TS. Why take it if it doesn't offer a path to normal?

I’m pretty sure the consensus is coming around to:

if you’re vaccinated you’re highly unlikely to be able to spread the virus based on the latest studies.

Schools are safe with social distancing measures in place based on the latest studies.

Louisville’s basketball coach probably still wears No Fear t shirts based on the latest studies.

Policy will lag behind science by about 6 months based on the latest studies.

Getting closer to porch szn anyways so fire it up based on the latest studies.

I don't know if a "corner was turned" but I'm enjoying the hell out of the fact that our worst team ever kicked the **** out of one of their best teams ever. Know your place.
