My thoughts on Rush Limbaugh since I know you've been waiting - He was okay but, surprisingly, I didn't listen to him much. Usually his opening after listening to KSR a few times a week and only from 2015ish or so.
I prefer Mark Levine and Andrew Wilkow.
My guess is that 99% of those celebrating his death, like WCC, never actually listened to him for more than 5-10 minutes and base their opinion of him on what they are told to think or have read.

Rex traded his painkiller addiction* for addiction to attention on social media. Twitter is his dopamine drip. Like most social media addicts he loves blowing **** up and dunking on people with "righteous" outrage for attention. I'm not convinced he really believes everything he tweets, or that he's smart enough to think it through. He's worse than the late Bearup for content thievery, too.

Sounds to me like Rush Limbaugh was the skip bayless/Stephen a smith of political talk radio (I never listened as I’m not a 65 year old loser) and helped usher in the “shock jock” aspect of politics we see nowadays, so congrats to him for making the world infinitely more obnoxious and annoying to live in.
