I wouldn’t expect a teacher to understand. Learn business calls.
Teachers have been staring into a digital abyss for 6 months or longer. We’re numb to cat filters, at least I am. The hens I work with have found it to be the most hilarious thing they’ve ever seen. That is until the next teacher til-tok that parodies the day to day life of a 7th grader lololol!!!!

And ohbytheway, where’s all of that empathy you claim to have? Do you have some left over for cynical ******** like me?

To be honest, I was just setting up this response from you which I was hoping would then cause Anth to lose his mind again about the schools.

Every teacher I know leaves chip and Joanna streaming on their Google-meet streams and plays Fortnite 16 hours a day. When kids have questions like “what is shiplap?” Or “how come chips hair looks different in every episode? How does it grow that fast?” The teachers will send them links to hardcore pornography. It’s disgusting and needs to stop. We need to put the kids back in schools.

Cal will be back next year and it is conceivable to think that he will have good teams again. Maybe great teams.

But I don't know how he ever recovers his swagger. You know, the "Kentucky will eat first", over the top arrogance. He has looked like a buffoon for so much of this year.

In a happier memory...

I was on my way to Shelbyville for a case when this came on and I distinctly remember thinking I had to get it together in a hurry because I was sweating and my mascara had smudged everywhere from laughing.

(in b4 jokes re: that last sentence. I know.)

I remember watching it vividly. Matts face when she says squirt to the ceiling was priceless.

ps-how was the 9”?

False, Strokin is a great teacher and just wants to be back with his students and players. He's not in your little Milano pronoun friendly red shirt hour. But hey, wcc, keep kids out of school. It was worth it after all.

Also, I was laughing so hard I literally cried at that video. Get it together, Strokin.

I go back and forth on Cal. During a game and usually the day after I typically want him gone.

But the more I consider the whole picture, it’s just odd to me to see any idea of reality in which Cal leaves or is gone in the next 2 years.

1- Boston/Clarke were just misses, but had they not been, this team would be pretty solid. Had they gone elsewhere would they have also been such bad misses?

2- Last year we were 23-6 heading into the SEC Tournament, so this season is so comparable to 2013 where we missed on Poythress, Archie, and the Squeaky Voice kid.

3- I always fall back to his strategy being one so that when we make the final four we aren’t crushed by shooters having a false depth and piss poor shooting efforts. It’s happened and I have no clue where I’ve gotten this in my mind but here it is. Cals strategy in a nutshell is to avoid a bad shooting night to get beat in a F4.........am I making this up?

4- 9M per year......does Nick Saban make that much?

Want to read that post outloud to yourself and then delete it, Touch_Em_All?

No, but I would love to be wrong and Beard be coaching UK ASAP as he would be my first choice. Unfortunately, I don't think FW is going anywhere, so hopefully I am wrong about both.

Y'all are easily tickled. Now if he had forgotten to mute himself and audibly farted while still in cat filter, that would have been funny. And the eyes! If he would have made "wow" eyes after the audible fart and said, "I am not a farting cat, your honor" and then if the judge would have responded, "well one of those things is true" . . . now that would have had me rotflmbo!!!!!!!

My kid isn’t affected so what do I care? In fact, she may gain ground in life because of this. All your schooll-aged kids are just a drop in the bucket.

Boston wasn't a miss. He just wasn't ready to be the star of the team right away and he was forced into that role from jump street. He needed to be on a squad with veteran leadership in place. That all falls on Cal. Everything about this catastrophe falls on Cal.

If BJ Boston were, let's say, the 30th ranked player in his recruiting class, he would not be a bust. Top 5 guys have entirely different expectations.

Anyway, if the expectation were that Boston would stay here and develop over a season or two, our perspective on him would be totally different. We've been trained to treat players like dirty rags.

I mean, how do you define a bust?

Yeah, he’s sucked here. Nothing about him all year has been remotely elite save the last game or two.

Now if he plays out of his mind and we win the SEC tourney and go on a 2014 style run, I’ll gladly eat these words.

Skal is how I define a bust. He's been much better than Skal. I don't equate disappointment with complete bust. That's just me, I suppose.
