God it would have been fun watching him and Maxey cook in the tournament. :-(
One overlooked positive about the cats being terrible - Ashley Judd is gone. I also hate players that were crucial in winning titles.

Can say that growing up poor in the Pride Place Projects in the ghetto that is Madisonville definitely versified me. It made me the well rounded model citizen to all that I am today. I DO NOT highly recommend, but it is what it is. I did learn that the only time you get down on your knees is shooting craps. I was so happy when I was able to move my momma to a crib from the jects. Checking the western conference standings and 4-15 are all within 2 games of each, and as much as I was hyped for Westbrook/Beal(who have sucked) I believe Wall/Oladipo are right there with Dame/McCollum for the funnest 1-2 backcourt to watch.

Stafford to the Rams for Goff and a slew of draft picks. That's an NBA level blockbuster.
I couldn't disagree more. Stafford will thrive in McVay's system. The Lions get a young QB, who has had success in the NFL, and a slew of draft picks to help them rebuild. I see it as a win win.
If the Lions weren’t the Lions then I would say they got the better end of the deal. Stanford is 32 and has taken a bunch of hits. Andrew Luck is a year younger and retired rather than take a bunch of shots in his 30’s.
I guess the Rams thinks this means he will get them to the division championship or SB next year but I think his shelf life might be a little short.

It is pretty surprising to see the Rams give up two first rounders, a third rounder, and (OHBYTHEWAY) a pretty damn NFL starting quarterback who is 6 years younger than Stafford and had remarkably similar stats last year.

Vern, the same thing was said about Cutler and look how that turned out. The draft picks make it better but looks like a wash on the QB swap.
The Lions won this trade hands down, and they actually draft really well, but they simply don’t coach good or put players in the best positions to succeed.
Their drafts are never considered a “reach” or “failure” but they simply just have done an awful job hiring not only a HC, but getting good smart assistants to coach these draft picks up.
If Goff allows them to stay put at 7, and see if Fields falls to them then that’s a plus. If he doesn’t it’s thought it will be because the top teams take QBs - Lawrence and Wilson WR - Chase and Smith OL - Slater and Sewell
So even if Fields doesn’t drop to them it means they get one of those 6 dudes which is a win.
