Reed Sheppard with 50 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists tonight. Puppy scent to John if he doesn’t recruit this kid.

The next Josh Carrier? I have no idea how good the kid is, at this point I don’t care. I do however *think* that I remember watching his mom hit a shot from half court, way back in the day, at Memorial Coliseum, to beat Western Ky(?). I also remember how his dad has his badly sprained ankle fixed in less than 12 hours back in 1998.

I'd be less surprised if I woke up tomorrow with my head stapled to the floor than I would be if this kid ever suits up here.

There's a 0% chance Reed Sheppard comes here if John is still here. And that's going to cause quite another shitstorm
The fallout will be incredible. Basically worst case scenario for Cal - having to deal with whether to recruit a player from eastern Kentucky who’s the son of a UK legend and puts up crazy numbers. BJW will burn his damn house down if he ignores that kid.

Had to remove my aunt from the ventilator yesterday, as there was no chance for her to recover. She wasnt able to breathe at all on her own, and after it had attacked her lungs, it seemed like every other major organ failed rapidly. She went from a seemingly healthy lady in her mid 60's, to gone in less than a week. She was one of 6 siblings- and only 2 got to see her to say their goodbyes. She was my mom's older sister- and they have either spoken on the phone or been together every day for as long as anyone could remember. She had recently retired and had planned on doing all of her traveling, relaxing, and watching her grandkids grow up.

Feel incredibly thankful that my own mother had it early on and recovered with no lingering issues. Maybe its just my circle but the last few weeks seems like all of this has hit a lot closer to home. I have known plenty of people that had covid over the last year- but didnt know anyone hospitalized with it until the holiday season. Then its been a few each week it seems.

Guess just get your parents an appointment as soon as possible to get their shot. If they dont want to go, drag them there. This stuff has to end.

Sorry about your aunt

there is no dragging my parents there. All it took was seeing one person sick from the shot and it was a no go

As long as there is a waiting list with half the town on it I would personally feel pretty ****** taking it before some of the 70+ who have put their who life on hold for the last year when I’ve went on with everything normally that isn’t sports related (Kentucky sports / men’s softball) and a concert from last august

a lot of folks from the smaller areas of the 270 area code have had luck getting their parents the juice in bowling green. Check out wbko for more information

Close family member has been in the hospital for over a month due to COVID. Most miserable experience of my life. Would not wish it on my worst enemy. Put your F’n mask on and get a shot.

Sorry about your aunt. Tough choice “giving up” but the peace of mind knowing they aren’t suffering is a calm feeling in that moment.

Truly sorry!

Quickley is the perfect 6th man type. I do not knock players I enjoy watching succeed, but if a guy seems like the next Lou Williams there is nothing wrong with that.

I don’t know what it will take to get Bradley Beal out of Washington, but I sure would love to see him in NY with Quickley, Randle and Toppin!

Such a shame last year that with Quickley, Maxey, and Richards as a nice core, the same team that had the best regular season since 2017 and the best FT shooting team in UK history sucked so bad and had no chance whatsoever of making a run in the NCAA tournament.

I 100% agree Barrett is just off there and doesn’t fit. When he does have a good shooting night it’s henders the whole team for the most part as all his stuff is simply 1on1 ball.

Quickley can defend the PG position so maybe he does start, unlike Lou Williams, but he perfect for that role.
