OBVIOUS TAKE ALERT

-sportswriters were cool/neccessary before "the age of information". They told the story of sports...not neccessary now that everything is live/social media/in real time. Now instead of telling the story of the game...they stir ****. They used to be "experts" due to access...now they're useless.

Probably something to this. Nothing quite like heading out on Sunday morning to get the paper to read up on the beatdown of Cards the day prior.

Say a word and I will Facebook message your mother-in-law and let her know Sloot drank her *** off in college and her 20s. So I’d consider your better half and keep your mouth shut.
Worthless, because I'm an honest dude, they saw me drinking from day 1. Now they all booze with me. Even her sisters. What else you got? Ol Anth is an open book. Final warning.

-dragging a man's betrothed into the fray, is nothing sacred? Gestapo tactics. This is how "the left" operates, gang.

I have to. If I’m outted as a morally reprehensible prick, as Anth threatened to do, my woke cred is immediately revoked and then who am I on social media? Just some regular ol’ common bloke with issues, flaws and missteps? Nobody wants to be human on my team. I HAVE to stay above all these ‘ists and I will do anything to stay there. If that means ruining a friendship with Sloot and getting Anth in the doghouse so be it.

Never done a Keeneland-Commonwealth double, but might just have to make it happen this fall. Potentially struggling Florida and LSU teams at home back to back in October. Ripe for the pickin. Shew. #FlaskUp

Have some appreciation for Lomax-esque blues (not like a daily listen or anything), but I've definitely never been able to get into middle aged white dudes shredding blues licks. Marcus Welby just walk through a Guitar Center. Eaglehart nailed it with the Deke and the Growlers episode. Team Hank and Team Ramones.

Starting to look at a Maine coast summer vacation. Gotta hit up Acadia and eat too many lobstah rolls (Connecticut style, of course). Anyone have any other recs?

Spoke to Chris Davis about 15 minutes before the HOF announcement and he agreed that writers shouldn't be voting. He also knows he will not be in the HOF.

Yeah, just sucks having to elbow your way thru the crowded paddock area, walk all the way out to BFE to find your car, fight traffic over to the stadium, find some overpriced lot at some random college kid's house, hike it over to the stadium, spend time hiding a flask on your person to sneak in a little booze, climb all the way up the steps to the upper deck at Commonwealth. Hate that for you, anth.

Fail for forgetting he can walk to the stadium from his house. Good try, good effort, though.

Being too close spoils it for some.

... like the only kid on the block with a pool, saying to the sweating neighbor friends...”I don’t want to swim today.” 👎🏻

-clubhouse/box or reserved seating/"restaurant" reservations.

^one of those is required to go to keeneland. Standing around all day is a nonstarter. Judge away...but Im too sober to fight the crowds/stand all day.

Huge Jane’s addiction fan, still love them. One of my favorites that haven’t gotten to see live.

Cant believe Chad is such a ***** to threaten to besmirch someone’s wife to her family just to spite her husband. Oh wait, yes I can...the left.

The keeneland double is painful but still can be done well and enjoyably, but yes you have to approach it with a full head of steam and trim some fat. Need clubhouse or a table. Early start, early exit and then hit the tailgate scene and profit. Also really helps to have a bubster with a house by the stadium. I successfully employed this strategy in 2019.

Finally getting to try the Save-a-lot/Critchfield fried chicken tonight. Pretty excited.

I’d go for a Keeneland visit that wasn’t obnoxiously crowded at this point. Saturdays are silly. Fridays hanging tough but getting bad, too. Like who told Ohio about it???

Just one Northern Kentuckian’s opinion.

**** that. Give me a JAM packed, can't move, bathroom line around the clubhouse, crack beer going down like crack beer, bonzo doing his tigger dance, long *** wagering lines, sloppy Keeneland drunk. Throw in an obnoxious uber line and walk halfway across the grounds because they actually moved the uber meet point but we're too drunk to communicate with the driver. The works. Every annoyance that comes with a stupid crowded Keeneland Saturday. It would be like heaven right now.

Get out of your own head Max, just enjoy the show...circle of life.

The fried chicken was good. Still think the best is Willa Mae’s in Nola. Maybe it just makes me nostalgic hanging out with my bro casey. He lives in New Orleans.

Not sure where the hell this came from, but I’m watching Condorman tonight...great Porsche scenes.
