False. I’ve been to one and he has. I thought I’ve told you this before.

Granted, it was in Tunica and a casino/resort (2008).

And the other time it was just me and a few KY high school coaches at the Hyatt bar after he spoke at the KABC rules clinic. He strolled into the lobby bar (only about 12 total people there) and had one draft with his “driver” and a couple of Feldhauses. That was his first year here, I think.
Maybe you were comparing him to pitino?

Knew you loved tubby, tho.

What in the absolute world makes some of y'all think he's just going to stop worrying about ending generational poverty and bring the bulk of this dogshit team back and that'll just fix everything?
Because getting kids drafted isn't what needs to change. It's the offense, and the roster construction. One and done isn't the real problem in and of itself. Offense and roster construction. That's been the problem for three years now, arguably longer.

And I assume he could potentially change because he eventually will get tired of getting his *** beat? Seems like it could be a catalyst.

"We're gonna show you a top-ranked basketball team running an opponent off the court by spacing the floor and moving the ball efficiently..."

"Okay... Wow... This is, really good. They look like they're having fun, they're focused and experienced. They defend well... Is that a zone? Whoa, is that a set play from out of bounds? Who is this?"

"What if I told you that's Kentucky."

Ha, no it's not. I can't hear the coach bellowing like a baby cow tied up in barbed wire."

"That's Kentucky."

"No! No it's not! Shut up! You're joking..."

Cal diving into analytics again on this Zoom presser. Not holding my breath, but at least he's now acknowledging this stuff. 🙏

It's so weird to hear him go from "it's just who will fight" after the game to reading a bunch of analytics today. Like you, I'm not holding my breath, but at least he's acknowledging he looks at data.

It does seem odd that we have two of the highest-ranked guys who didn't accept the G-League offer and now one is mysteriously injured indefinitely and the other is the only non-Tin Man on the roster.

Cal has talked a ton about mental health since the offseason, and with the Fletcher situation, guys crying on the bench, some of the comments he's made, etc. it does make you wonder what's really going on. We've seen disappointing recruits. We've seen antiquated offense that buffs out by sheer force of will and talent. We've never seen this.

There's just no coincidence that this team is this bad in this year. We've had less talent and worse fitting rosters fare far better.

Only thing I know is that the next 4-8 years will go in the virtue signaling HOF. This is Biden's pick for Asst Health Secretary:

We've had a player quit the team during the season each of the last 3 years if you count Vando. Last year our team leader and point guard refused to reenter a game against our rival and got suspended. This didn't start this season. It just came to a head.

The Vanderbilt stuff at least felt in line with "Players First." If he doesn't feel right after the injury, you can't make him play. He basically sat his entire rookie year too, so that looked credible after the fact.

Last year is part of what makes this all so interesting. Hagans clearly needed to be coddled, but Cal essentially tossed him from a team that had a real shot at winning it all. There was a line. Cal seemed to have control.

The Boston stuff seems to fly in the face of that. Maybe it's just Cal really believing the light will come on (it has before and turned our seasons around), but it sure feels different and he's handling it way differently publicly.

And even with all of that stuff, it was isolated. The whole thing didn't fall apart like it has this season.

I remember a Diallo disaster during a 4 game SEC losing streak but that was one of those seasons I’ve scrubbed from memory so not sure. That guy even had an extra semester of practice with Fox and Monk.

The starting lineup will tell me a lot - mostly how full of **** he is.

Vanderbilt was hurt unless the Nuggets are also in on the conspiracy.

Get it together.

I mean, Tiger King was entertaining in shock value. Not the kind of show I’d repeat...but it pretty much set the tone for 2020.

Just can’t let an opportunity slip to let people know you’re a lawyer, can you, you smug bastard?

Typical for your kind, though.

Lawyers, I mean.
Here I was getting ready to ask for local recs for dog parks and now I’m over here sending you the pumps

Simplest explanation is Cal thinks Boston WILL get there and to be our best we need him to get there. Problem is our season is on the brink and has been for some time, so it’s not worth the gamble. It’s past time on that- similar with his gamble on Whitney last year.

Oh and the silly OAD **** and Cal’s ill/begotten mission with it, too. There’s certainly a large part of that at play.
