Damn. Got me with the 5a portion of the definition of politics.

Maybe Tiger should read this as he's said on multiple occasions he doesn't get into politics and just wants to play golf.

Off topic, feel GYERO needs a real life meet up. Getting a little tense in here which doesn't happen when popping tops and speaking face to face...even if it's about politics.

Hell, me and the chef had a civil conversation one day and we are exact opposites when it comes to politics. Neither of us changed our minds, but we stayed friends after.

Wasn't trying to "get you." I was clarifying my point. SOCIETY WAS IMPACTED BY TIGER WOODS.

-Keep me posted. Love to kick it with you and chief, for sure.

I wasn't saying there aren't politics around Tiger Woods but he himself has done about as much for politics as I have - which is jack ****.

He didn't even take the prime opportunity to destroy Fuzzy Zoeller; just went on about his business of decimating anyone in his path.

On the one hand Tiger brought a more diverse group to golf than ever before, "growing the game".
He, NIKE, tried a social commercial in his early days about courses he could not play because of the color of his skin. There was some backlash as he was playing courses that did not allow women.
Then, he was subject of Fuzzy's silly comments.
So, I would say there was a societal impact.

Ha, you actually just made me realize what these people really were. They weren't just seditionists. Thanks, doggie.

Seems like the solution is to not play the National Anthem. I have no idea who's kneeling or not, but if Francis Scott Key is this controversial...

BTW when's the last time you heard the anthem that wasn't related to a sporting event?

Several of us incl. SAE's brother drove up to Boston to take in a Red Sox game before junior year. We hit the different spots in Boston over a two-day period. I kid you not when I say we only saw a handful of attractive women the entire time.

My wife’s college friends are a fairly marginal lot.

And by the way, get outside Boston (a city I adore) and **** gets awful in a hurry. Complete ********.

There’s a lot of issues that need to be addressed in terms of providing minorities and minority neighborhoods better chances to succeed, imo. To me that’s more of an issue than racism.

You’re ignorant and out of touch if you think we are more racist as a country than we were even 25 years ago.

Not everything should turn into a race issue. Just bc a veteran is offended by kneeling doesn’t mean their a damn racist. They’re offended bc in their eyes it’s disrespectful to those that fought for our country.

Also, with damn social media now we have given a platform to the fringe lunatics and highlight those lunatics. There’s a lot more good in this country than bad. Just like there’s a lot more UK fans who are reacting in a rationale manner to the kneeling than JimboCatFan4Life who is burning their 2019 SEC Tournament tee shirt.

John Rocker, ladies and gentlemen:

"The biggest thing I don't like about New York are the foreigners. I'm not a very big fan of foreigners." Then there's the experience of riding a New York City subway: "Imagine having to take the [Number] 7 train to the ballpark … next to some kid with purple hair next to some ***** with AIDS right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. It's depressing." He was no more charitable to his Atlanta teammates, calling one black player a "fat monkey."

Favorite TV shows right now:
1. Lettekenny
2. Chicago PD
3. Narco Wars

Have Fast Time at Ridgemont High queued up for tonight.

Leftover steak and eggs for breakfast. The only time I use A1 is when nuking a leftover cut.

Showing for SIL (lived on same street as BBDk used to) today and Funeral tomorrow. Rough couple of days coming up.

This neighborhood has a ton of Humana employees. I know 4 on my street and another that lives across from the Y.

Rewatched the UK game this morning. Jackson's interior passing was 👌. Loved seeing the guys smiling and having fun.

If everyone stops typing and listens very close, you will hear me getting fatter. Jeez...need a change. Thought about a bike but after I almost hit Wayne yesterday, maybe not.
Well, not almost, but I did pull over for him. Don't think he realized it was me.

Short term, but Twitter down 6%.

The perception is that it's not good enough for anyone to just be for or against something (or not to even care for that matter). People seem to feel that the strength/volume of their opinion is relative to the strength of their morality. Whether the response to their opinion is positive or negative doesn't matter so long as the fact that they have a strong opinion is validated.

Or did the decent thing and didn’t broadcast them to the world. What happened to keeping your thoughts and feelings repressed and only unleashing them in an explosion of emotion at an inappropriate time?

Good point. When we were growing up, NOBODY got on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to shove their opinions down your throat. Times have changed, man.

I miss the good ole days when college kids didn't involve themselves in social issues, pti. It was and still is inappropriate.

John Rocker was on Survivor. Once the other "contestants" figured out who he was, that didn't end well for him either.

If you don’t understand the strategy behind him getting impeached then you aren’t paying attention.

It’s a smart play if they can convict.

I'm old enough to remember when you publicly expressed disapproval for kneeling during the anthem a mere three to four years ago on your radio show.

Now that you're condemning a man for similarly disapproving of kneeling, you must understand how your behavior can reasonably be perceived to be duplicitous.

This hypocrisy leads many to really question your sincerity about everything you say. Many support you, but you must understand why some do not. The fact that people who disagree with you over kneeling are now represented as something worthy of scorn is really disgusting and troubling. Appreciate the call.
Many are saying Matt is a bigot. Agree with him, or he will use his UK ties to doxx people. Why the university puts up with him is mind-boggling.
