First day back in the gym after way too long of a hiatus. Starting out slowly (compared to where I was when I stopped).

Did 20 mins on the treadmill to warm up, got a round of 3 light sets in on the major upper body muscle groups, and wound down with some good stretches.

Felt good, I hope my muscles ache tomorrow from it.

Are there still clowns that call trump a conservative? There are maybe three conservatives in the entire RNC

Late but I don't get the both sides aren't at fault argument (I was raised by two leftwingers btw)

----> when you use a ridiculous phrase such as "basket of deplorables" WHILE running for president, don't you sort of amp up the rhetoric and maybe piss millions of people off and get them rowdy?

I'll hang up and listen.

Everyone of those guys were good to great. Boston is shooting 15% from three as a modern wing whose strength is scoring.

Agree on the archaic offense thing.

Not necessarily defending Cal here, but aren't MOST college basketball offenses archaic, compared to what we're seeing in the NBA?

I mean, whose offense do you really enjoy watching in college basketball? Few at Gonzaga off the top of my head. Maybe Musselman and Oats, but most of the games are a chore.

Watching analyses of Brad Stevens' offense is boner-ific. Of course he has sets that are tailored towards NBA-skilled players. But, hell, this dude still runs flex motion sets and gets *easy* buckets.

Knox marcus welby Kevin Durant compared to Boston.

The biggest shock to me is how slow & unintelligent he is. Wayne said yesterday he's one of the few guys who can get his own shot...but, is he really? He can't get around or by ANYONE at this stage, which is why he ends up with so many incredibly awful attempts. It's a combo of him being slow, too much lateral movement, and just being dumb & underestimating college defenders.

Watch Allen read screens & defenders, utilize fakes, and other basic basketball **** to get himself open - and he's basically a stiff in comparison.

If we're being honest, Askew may be the best player we have in terms of being able to get a GOOD shot on his own.

I always felt like most teams (esp. the SEC W) were built on great athletes who weren't that skilled at basketball because that usually beats mediocre athletes who are good at basketball. That said, we've consistently had great athletes who are skilled, so we have no excuse.

Nate Oates runs a fun system, IMO. Up tempo, values having way more possessions than your opponent (instead slowing the game down) and loves the three pointer. He’s also brash as touch. He gets some points deducted for apologizing to K after just calling him out for not wanting to play any more non conference games but something tells me the powers that be got to him.

Oh, it's your team again? Last we were updated you were an independent and claimed no association with Trump. In fact, you labeled those of us with deep concerns for the behavior of the vile POS President has having "Trump Derangement Syndrome" and something along the lines of "orange man bad" because the media told us so. Yet, and as I noted, you were proudly along for the convenient ride of his legislation but somehow claimed inoculation from the moral depravity of his entire MAGA movement in real time. Don't worry, you aren't the only one.
Been a life long Republican. Didn't vote for him 4 years ago because he's an *******. Did vote for him this year because your team thought it was worth keeping kids out of school, against all data, just to spite his recommendation.

I tried to explain that to you dipshits but you all are really good at painting with a broad strokes. In fact MOST people in my team have openly criticized him the entire time. Hell most of the Republicans I know didn't vote for him. But I'm not allowing you to look down on me because I'm Republican even though that's y'alls game. It's tired.

Yet, when our local dipshit governor goes behind closed doors to threaten Teacher’s licensing if they open schools, you all sit silent. Meanwhile, children are suffering, mental illness, child/teen suicide rates through the roof but strip clubs are open. Because he's not a raging ******* on TV doesn't change the fact his actions are very distructive. So give me a break on the enabling ********. The first time one of the "no like crew" critiques one of their perfect politicians, will be just that.

  • I love Allen's jukie (sp?) little ball fake to the right, followed by a 3. Thing of beauty.
  • I know you said Boston can't get around anybody, but I'm not sure if that's completely accurate. I think his ****** shooting has led to players backing off him, making it much more difficult for him to get around them.
  • I've kind of forgotten about Clarke. Can he get his own shot?

If anyone knows someone in the distribution/warehouse industry with leadership experience looking for a job, I am hiring a 3rd shift Operations Supervisor.

Run and tell that.

I suppose I meant he wants a game with a high number of possessions because he believes his team is better equipped offensively.

I appreciate this philosophy versus that of let’s slow the game down to create less overall possessions and make it a slug fest.

I guess I was just imagining SAE, Chase and me criticizing the very thing you’ve brought up about the governor AND the riots this summer in THIS very thread.

It’s apples and oranges, though.

Congratulations on the vote, though- and ...wait for it ... wait for it ... being on the wrong side of history.

Taken from HOB. Brutal:

Cal isn't going to give a crap if the criticism of his offense is coming from UK fans, but he sure as Hell is going to be forced to react if this is the view from NBA scouts.

He might be stubborn, but he's much more vane and it will eat him alive if those people view him as a fossil.
