Thursday is an underrated weekday.
Blame the people who break the law and the people who encourage them to break the law. Your “side” should be the side that doesn’t encourage that crap.
If your response to an objectively bad thing is “yeah well what about...” you were probably an only child and definitely weren’t disciplined enough as a kid. You probably wouldn’t put up with that response when your kid does something wrong so not sure why rioters get a pass.
When people spout off about conspiracy theories like crisis actors, QAnon, etc. they should be mocked, ignored, and then removed from whatever influence/authority they had on your thought process.
When someone changes their mind about something and has a reason to do that, that’s a good thing, not a bad thing. People need to quit digging in early and in the face of evidence to the contrary.

I don't think this is a tit for tat situation. What we witnessed yesterday was going to happen regardless of whether there had been racial protests/riots over the summer.
Trump was never going to accept losing the election. He stated this long before the events of the summer.
Those idiots yesterday were motivated by Trump's rhetoric to stop the election results from being certified.
I'd accept the both sides argument more if the BLM protests had breached the Capitol or the White House. I could see where people could view it as a copycat situation. However, the situation yesterday was unique and specifically pointed towards overturning an election result.
The scary thing now is that we live an a world where not only has this occurred, it will no doubt be attempted again by some lunatic fringe group.

Trump is an absolute loser. He's a pathetic human being, and a horrible businessman. Reprehensible in every way. None of us would be friends with him in real life. Or do business with him. He's a liar and a con artist and a fraud. And he's got a 40 year track record to prove it. Every single thing about his 4 years in office has been completely predictable. Actually it is. "My team" has led this country to the best position it has ever been in. "My team" didn't burn down our country, topple statues, lock down and ruin our economy, kill the education for our children, etc. I could go on but it wouldn't be worth it. Fact is, you already know all of this.
