No fight in him. Gets called for his 5th and he shrugged his shoulders and walked to the bench like it was a TO.

- I’ll take Ws any way I can get them.

- Cal starting f’ing Sarr and Ware - Jesus Christ. Against a team that spreads you out snd bombs 3s. Oh well, went small a few times. Baby steps I suppose.

- Boston is awful but maybe try a lineup sometime featuring:

sarr/jackson
boston
allen
mintz
askew

Maybe that will give the kid someone he can drive.

- Love Askew- missed a lot at the rim but he’s going to be good.

- Also have come to love Toppin. Plays hard. Has a nose for the ball. Long. Active. Will be good.

- Keep shooting, Dontae- not lights out but 14 points on 40% from TREYVILLE. And the kid isn’t a zero elsewhere. He’s decent on D, rebounds and generally knows how to play.

- Sarr is going to be good some games, and nonexistent others. He’s not clutch. And while I don’t mind him shooting 3s, wish he’d stop with long 2s.

- Jackson had his moments. I like him. Hope we see him as a soph.

- Bottom line, Clarke needs to become special and Brooks needs to get back.

- IF the guys who should come back come back next year, this is a pretty solid base- which never happens here anymore. Shockingly, Cal has a good history with those types of tough, smart, experienced teams. They just go against his Mission statement.

- Pippen Jr. looks like he should be beating us in the F4 wearing a UConn jersey.

One of our 3-out, 2-in sets resulted in us giving Sarr an entry pass into the post, Sarr passing out and 2 swing passes to the opposite wing, followed by an entry pass to Jackson posting on the other block.

It's 2021 for f*ck's sake.

I really don't care who starts. It's obvious who needs to be in at the end of games, the 4 non-true freshmen. Allen, Mintz, Sarr and Toppin are our core. Let the freshmen be the role players. It's not a championship squad but they could get things turned around.

Have loved my Cats since the beginning of time and will just have to eat crow if wrong but I just don’t see it.
Cal gonna be Cal no matter what.
We were 3 bounces on the rim from OT. With Vandy.
Can’t guard for ****.
Not even gonna try to understand this offense or lack there of.
Magloire isn’t walking thru the door.
They’ll get smoked by the better teams and it kills me to say it. Just hope more than a couple use the free extra year to form a better core next year.

I think we'll get back Allen, Askew, Toppin, Ware, Fletcher and I would hope Brooks. Put that with Hickman, Hopkins, Collins and maybe Clark. Throw in a grad transfer or two and we're on our way.
