I don’t want to actually toss the reindeer food on the lawn because ours is puppy chow and I love that stuff. I left the big bowl of it at my mom’s tonight and I have a feeling my sisters are gonna finish it off before I get back tomorrow.

Umm, you and your sisters eat puppy chow?

You like cat food too?

The Turducken turned out very nicely. That may replace the turkey at Thanksgiving as it was 1) more flavorful and 2) significantly easier to prepare. Tossed it in the Dutch oven, threw in some garlic, sage, rosemary and butter, cooked it at 350 for a couple hours, basted every now and then, and boom, done. No BS like carving or pulling a neck and guts out of a chest cavity like a gd savage.

Any interesting ideas about making Christmas morning more interesting? I used a boot to make a couple footprints of soot coming out of the fireplace on the hardwood. Getting ready to put together a wagon.

If you have a finished basement and usually set the kids’ presents in the living room, put nothing but coal in the living room with a big sign saying “tough ****, you’re on the naughty list’”. Then have a good laugh and take them downstairs to the presents. It will make them feel better about putting you into a LTC facility later in life.

I’m getting some solid laps in on this slot car racing track. But, I’ll have to tone it down tomorrow to avoid raising suspicion.

Traditional Christmas Short Ribs on the menu tomorrow!
Just attempted to fly a remote controled airplane on the back patio. Most likely about 5 acres short.

Watching Pope Francis say midnight Mass. He is by far the best, most truly Christian Pope in the history of the church. Inclusive, like no one before him. I am a huge fan.

We chose not to gather for Christmas, but earlier I FaceTimed with my grandsons to read them The Night Before Christmas. In these times it is the small things.

Since Tim was working at Thanksgiving and missed it, Christmas Eve dinner was a scaled down Thanksgiving meal: Turkey breast, dressing, bacon brown sugar green beans, corn pudding, frozen fruit salad, yeast rolls and Pinot Grigio. Pecan pie and cheesecake for dessert.

Turkey and dressing is his favorite thing. Me, not so much, but I’m glad to be able to give some holiday cheer.

Merry Christmas to all, and God bless us everyone. 🎅🏻🌺🎄🍻

Well, ok. I had no idea who Ini Kamoze is, so I googled him/it? and still have no idea what your point is. Swoosh, right over my head. 😊

Merry Christmas you filthy animal. 🍻

I miss my kids being little, but I do not miss spending hours and hours putting together the newest castle, Fort, dream house, car, or whatever the hell that would come with the worst directions one could imagine.

One time, I had a black-and-white instruction book telling me what mf'n colors should snap together.

More times than not, I'd look at the pictures on the box and throw the instructions in the fire.

Peter was the first Pope and also an Apostle. Sorta the foundation of Catholicism. So Francis being above him would be a impressive. Ini Kamoze sang Hotstepper. I'm still more partial to Shaggy, just my opinion.

Barbie dream house just finished with only 2 parts that don’t seem to go anywhere at all that I have no desire to figure out.

Well, a bomb went off this morning in downtown Nashville about a mile from my house. RV loaded with a bomb or ammo exploded at 6:20 AM. Heard explosion for miles and damage to much of 2nd Ave area.

No reports from police/govt/ATF/FBI yet. Def something super sketch going on. And I'm on call at a trauma facility nearby. Merry Christmas!

Edit: police just said it was an "intentional act" from a suspicious vehicle. Great.

We get Nashville local channels and I’m just sitting here watching the aerial views from that explosion. That **** looks really bad - like a 3rd world war zone.
