I'll die on that hill defending PTI (pti) I know him personally and he's a good dude It's not anyone's business who he has carnal knowledge of you bunch of touching dorks. I'm so sorry he's had sex with more women than you have.

For all the ish i get in this thread about being a horrible poster... World White Wayne and Hank are quite possibly two of the worst things that have ever happened to this thread, mostly because of their volume posting.

- The Colorado to NC drive is awful. Kansas makes the trip through Indiana up to Chicago seem like you're driving I95 past NYC. Barren.

- BBdK was drunk (as was I) and a smart *** when I met him...but since I'm not an emo puss, it was easy to laugh and throw **** back at him.

- Have a feeling we clip UNC. Irrational, but gut feeling.

- Not sure how Huber can be hated on? He posts once a week and he was the first regular in this thread to tone everything down a decade ago.

- Eastern time zone sucks. Mountain, ftw.

- McRibs are delicious. Best stop hating.

I want to go on the record that I was not going after Huber personally... never have nor will I ever meet him... I'm sure he's a good dude...

But if my posting is up for criticism, his certainly is.

* Everyone here is aces in real life. What I think you're missing is the thread is a virtual sports bar for guys to celebrate and complain about their favorite teams, bust balls, talk like they would if they were hanging out at Cold One City and argue the topic du jour. What I'm trying to say is, take a break Voin.

* Getting out for the game tomorrow. Not expecting much but need a change of scenery and can't think of a better way to support local small business than jumping on the domesto train and knocking back buckets and wings while seeing if the Cats can salvage their season 🍻

* Someone introduce Cal to GPS and Google maps. That comment about thinking Atlanta is only 4 hours from Lexington sounds like something your out-of-touch uncle would say. Best to just say you leave the travel plans to the massive UKAA support staff or you know, just say you haven't seen the bus driver in a while. Seems to work in regards to other aspects of the team.

* NFL gets the Rodney Dangerfield treatment around here but mid December Saturday night NFL football is ok in my book. Add in a frigid game at Lambeau with potential snow and Rockwell himself couldn't paint a better holiday picture.

* Good call, Albany. Might want to refrain from giving investment advise or prognosticating on medical breakthroughs for a while. Oh, and eat **** 🥳
Moderna...LOL. Been around for 10 years and hasn't been able to being a single drug to market, but now is being touted as a saviour when it comes to COVID?

There is a reason why the stock price is "soaring" today at a whopping 7%.

There are others out there that are actually doing a better job on the vaccine/treatment front than this company. Good news is needed, but not from these guys.

My $0.02

Re: spam:

-slice thin. Fry. Raw onion/fried egg w/mayo on nice wheat toast.

-prefer spinach to lettuce as a sandwich green. Actual nutritional value is a plus...lettuce is water/fiber, helps you poop though so its not all bad.

-last night sister texts: Dad wants you to call him asap...says he can't get through.

Me: holy crap what's wrong, dad?
Dad: i got you some fudge, when do you want to come get it?

-its cold.

Duly noted Bonzo and I appreciate it. I will.

That said: I don't know why when I talk about other people's posting there's just this backlash about how horrible of a poster I am... its just shouting someone down, bully tactics, whatever...

It's not the way it should be.

* thats not hanging out at a bar... thats co-depemdeccy and a sign of insecurity.

That's your insecurity, MFer. Re-read your quote talking about someone's posting, then being offended when people call out yours in the next sentence.

Maybe you should be calling out your Fantastic Sam's hair artist instead of projecting on here.

Huber is a good guy....miss seeing him chowing on a Hattie's burger.

Pti is a good guy despite being completely clueless on most any topic. Random lunch years ago w/ him in Knoxville and then a UK game w/ him and one of his old flames.

Anth is a good guy and what he has done for many on here in terms of HVAC is worth it's weight in freon. He and WS are A1 people.

BBdK is a good guy even though he hates me. I'd still drink w/ him anytime.

80 is a good guy and miss the poker games. He and B$ are gold.

73 is a good guy...miss the golf and the hoops.

WCC is a good guy...his passion about everything is always on point, even though he is a lib numbnut. Glad to see him a family man now.

assist is a good guy....miss the golfing, seeing him at the track, and his no holds barred attitude in general.

cawood is a good guy and my podge on the links....even though he is a strange bird most of the time.

WC Adam is a good guy....would love to see him on the links more.

Most everyone on here rocks in one way or another....at least from their hospitailty at tailgates, random sightings, and typical BS on here.

Merry Christmas bitches.

I've never met anyone in this thread, but I can let you all know that I'm a fairly decent person, and you can take that to the bank.

I joke around with and harass all my friends.

If I dont like you, I typically just ignore you.

If you've pissed me off or I just hate you, I'll needle, insult, and berate you relentlessly.

Essentially, it was was a sign of endearment when I told voinovich he should be an sec official. Since it bothered him so much, I've just resorted to ignoring him.

Has Cal seen Brooks lately?

-Huge opportunity tomorrow. Feels like the entire gd season is riding on this game really. Boston it’s time to wake up, kid.

-Sam Adams winter lager is my choice brew atm.

-Hating on Huber’s posting is a weird call.

Everyone I met at the one tailgate I attended were all complete dicks.

Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, kiss my ***. Kiss his ***. Kiss your ***. Happy Hanukkah...

* Mother Nature coming through with a cold December thus far. Christmas Day the high is supposed to 33. Yes, please. Perfect for lounging in pajamas around the tree and fire.

*It sounds like Coen was really prepared for the interview. Detailed binder going over what worked for UK last year and obviously what didn’t work followed up with a 300 page slide show going over various packages the Rams use and how he can incorporate them to best meet our personnel. The dude oozes with charismatic confidence. We shall see but I just have a feeling he’s going to crush.

* I had an absolute blast at The Greenbrier with the Lass and Lil Lassies. The resort is decorated to the nines for Christmas and really got me into the spirit. There’s Christmas Trees (real, of course) and life size Nutcracker figures everywhere and Christmas Music playing non stop. I was blown away on all of the activities available from morning to night whether it’s family related stuff, individual things catered to men or women or to couples.

The girls really enjoyed breakfast with Santa, making gingerbread houses and a Polar Express Dinner. We went iceskating and swam in the giant heated pool. On Saturday night there was a ceremonial lighting of a giant Christmas Tree outside where Santa arrived on a sleigh. My oldest looked like she was about to faint when ole St. Nick pulled up in that sleigh.

The bar in the Main Lobby was unreal. Giant roaring fire, an oak bar and old school bartenders making choice cocktails. You walked outside to a patio area with a view of the mountains and individual fire pits.

The casina was nice as was the Fan Duel Sports Book. The sports book was modern but still had the Dorthy Draper decor look making it feel like you were watching games and gamboling in someone’s super nice basement. The Twelve Oaks bar in the casina had a Keeneland feel to it.

The Prime 44 West steakhouse was very solid. New Strip was cooked medium rare to perfection. It was probably the 2nd best steak I’ve had behind Ruby’s.

* I have no take whatsoever regarding playing Carolina tomorrow. I do enjoy beating them more than any program not named Louisville but I’m just totally apathetic right now towards Kentucky Basketball for the first time in my life and it’s really bothering me. Like, I’m barely paying attention to my biggest passion in life. Back to back wins against Carolina and Louisville would do wonders for all of us.

* HBO Max is incredible. All past and new HBO content plus Warner Brothers movies in 2021. I’ve been watching Industry. Somewhat interesting stuff going on with a bunch of young pups out of college working for a big investment bank in London grinding out crazy hours and partying their balls off but gracious it’s basically soft porn.

* What a year, gang. There are super bright times
ahead.

Great Lakes Christmas Ale is a prime example of something that was great when it was a) limited in quantity and b) the only game in town. Other breweries have been putting out more consistent and better Christmas Ale options now for a couple of years. Me personally I like West 6th and Madtree’s Xmas offerings better than Great Lakes. And judging by the stacks of Great Lakes six packs sitting at the end of the beer aisle I’m not the only one.

It’ll always be the OG in my book and I won’t hate it on draft when we can go to bars again, but for as for me and my house, pass on the bottles of Great Lakes Christmas Ale.

- Been logged off the internet for 24 hours to try to actually get some work done. (I know I know, pti, I will promptly log back off). It’s amazing how productive I can be when I unplug for a while.

- Just finished last NTI class, in-person school resumes on the 4th, I’m headed back to the office on Monday. Normalcy sounds so good right now.

- Speaking of the office, isn’t this the time of year where we get BBdK’s annual statement about how covering his office during the two weeks around the holidays is his go-to pro move, and the head honcho is eternally grateful and lets him blow off basically whenever he wants the rest of the year? Patiently waiting.

-Glad your family enjoyed the Greenbrier, Richie. The only time I’ve ever been there was around the holidays, and it is indeed magical. That main bar is probably the coolest place I’ve ever had a drink.

- Let’s get our season and lives righted tomorrow, then watch some championship college football, and then finally find out where we’re going bowling. All with the magic of the Christmas spirit permeating the background. Has the potential to be an incredible weekend.

- Groundhog has yet to be dispatched.

- Happy Friday, friends. T minus ~5 to cold one city!

I get where UNC fan would be confident in this game but if I were one, I'd be extremely worried that UK would suddenly wake up and play like UK again.

This is maybe the first time I've gone into a UNC game with zero expectation of winning. Would be a nice little treat to beat those baby blue ******** if it were to happen. But if it doesn't, I won't be getting redassed. I don't believe in this team enough to get angry.

Saw Century at the Ole Miss football game, but that’s been my last contact with him.

Team Huber. Glad got to have a fun fishing/man trip with him and TmfH this summer.

On day 14/16 work bender. Ready for a few days off. It’s been a rough ride.

18lb prime brisket up next for boat dad.

What time we all headed over to PTI's for the game and is @wildcat1973 flight going to land on time?...

What a day that was a decade ago. "Do the John Wall!" Rupp in all her splendor, roof damn near bursting at the seams. Kentucky basketball back on the national landscape after a long walk in the wilderness. Shew, where have all those good times gone?

Need a statement win like that tomorrow, John. Earn that 9m. And maybe work in a salad every now and then.
