*HBO Max (using my FIL's account because he still has cable), Netflix (in-laws use our account), Disney+, Prime, AppleTv+, YouTubeTV and Frndly for two months during the Holidays so the females in my house can watch Hallmark.

*Soon to get Apple One Premier since we are an Apple household. 2TB cloud backup, AppleTV+, Apple News, Arcade, and Apple Music for $30. We already have the 2TB family plan, and we currently have YouTube Premium for the ad-free Youtube experience and YouTube music, but it's going to be cheaper to switch to Apple's bundle by a few bucks. Plus YouTube music sucks *** compared to Spotify and Apple Music. I can live with YouTube ads, although I'm not super happy about it.

I'm a bundling/streaming *****.

Shedding light on the mysterious injury of Kentucky forward Keion Brooks Jr.

By Kyle Tucker 5h ago 10

Keion Brooks Sr. would like Kentucky basketball fans to know a few things right off the top: His son is not secretly suspended, his grades are just fine and yes, he’s absolutely miserable watching from the sideline as the Wildcats have gotten off to their worst start in 20 years. But no, Keion Brooks Jr. won’t be rushed back from the calf injury he has been nursing for at least two months now.

“In the beginning, we thought it would be sooner, a shorter recovery,” his father told The Athletic on Thursday night. “But as he tried to do a little more and a little more, you start listening to your body and understanding it’s just going to take some extra time. It was never trying to mislead anybody. We just didn’t think it would take this long. And if it was up to me, he’d probably be out there now. I’m one of those old-school dads — suck it up, son — but there’s a bigger picture you have to look at.”

...

"That’s kind of funny to me,” Brooks Sr. said. “I’ve had people come to me and ask if he got in trouble or there’s a problem with his grades, and it’s like, come on. If anybody did their homework on this kid, that’s the last thing they’d come up with. But I understand. People need something to talk about. They’re searching for any reason he’s still sitting out, because they can’t believe it’s just an injury. But it is. And it makes me laugh. So he went from honor roll to delinquent, huh? It’s entertaining to watch people argue back and forth about something they have no idea about.”

Our "cult" did a heck of a job last night with a candlelight vigil honoring our friend. My wife, Wayne's wife, and others worked together to put on a moving event.

*Proud of my lass. She was the emcee and told a story about Virginia. She got up and spoke in front of over 100 people as easily as if she speaks at home.

The Mom's Club has also led the way in getting food donations for his baby via Food Train throughout the year. After that runs out, our street will kick in for January.

*YouTube TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and HBO is what I'm rolling with.

*We are going to Beckley park tonight to look at Christmas lights. I don't really want to, but we need it. We haven't done a Christmas event yet.

*I have Spectrum internet and phone. Internet is fine but my phone service is rough. Recently switched from AT&T to save a few bucks and am beginning to wonder if it's worth it. I cannot get a signal in most of our office space at work when it used to not be an issue.

Willy and Anth would be an interesting pair. I get a very Cannonball run vibe, kind of like Burt Reynolds and Dom Deloise...just don’t talk about, HIM.

Getting Brooks back would make a big difference if this team was decent. As it stands now, it doesn't really matter if/when he comes back. He's not a guy capable of resurrecting a team. It'll take a hell of a lot more than that.

I had to work and wasn't able to attend, but my wife said your wife did a fantastic job. I'm really sorry about your friend. And I hope you guys are doing okay as it would have been a terrible thing to witness.

Dish (Free locals) & the works really $120 (Inc. Showtime / Epic / Encore / Starz / Movie channel / Movieplex
Sports galore - SEC / ACC / PAC 12 / Big 10 / networks , NBA / NFL channel / Redzone / All kinds of regional sport, Fox Sports 1 / 2.
Sirius XM channels)

Spectrum internet $50
Netflix $10
Prime Video (free with Amazon prime)
HBO Max (free with AT&T cell service)

Anything PPV or I do not get, I pirate it for free, but it does freeze and have to buffer sometimes, which is why I do not do the streaming **** for primary service.

$180. Eff all that cord cutting ****, if I want to watch something, I turn on the TV and watch it. "Dude you can save $9.22 all you have to do is switch the input, stream this show, use you antenna for locals" Oh, but make sure you are close to the remote so you can buffer it or reload the stream. But then again, I do not spend $75 twice a week for fancy meals I can't pronounce, or buy $100 jeans, $80 designer dress shirts, and $250 shoes.

We have some super secret jailbroken Firestick deal at $10 a month where we get 3000 channels and every show that has ever been on a streaming platform. So eat my shorts, nerds.

TBH, it's too many options and I end up watching the same four things on rotation.

Shout out to UCL for sounding awake and interested in his KLU presentation. The lord's work, sir.

YouTube TV just had too much sports delay for me. It was like a minute and a half and that’s not gonna cut it.

I said I'm not a "Car Guy", and I'm not, but my Dad, who bought this new, when I was still a toddler, had put this in his garage probably 20 years ago (just quit running and he didn't ever get around to tinkering with it)

Anyway, he said I could have it, if I'd have it towed out of there (this was several years ago) I've been having it worked on, bit by bit for, like I said, YEARS. It's finally done. I'd give it back to him, but the time that he should still be driving has long passed.

I'm just going to give it to my wife as an anniversary present. She has no idea that it's actually been restored. She thinks it's still rotting away in my friends barn.

I don't know why that looks like a dent on the back left panel, because there isn't a scratch on it.

Me and B$ once saw UCL walking up the steps of the East endzone at Commonwealth and proceeded to chant “U-C-L! U-C-L” until he stopped and talked to us. This had to be at least 13+ years ago. I think I actually have a photo of it in my Shutterfly account. BRax also graced us walking up those stairs one day. I feel like it’s the only time I’ve really seen either once of them in person. Enigmas.

Edit: UCL was the Tennessee game. Seems that’s also the night we met Coolcat in person the first time at Redmon’s.
