Think that WKU offer will still be out there after Louisville has a Covid crisis and cancels the home game with no crowd that they didn't want to host to begin with?

Of course, if we don't shape up, that might not be as bad of an outcome as I thought two weeks ago.

Catching up, shew a lot of stuff.

We are flat out garbage right now, least interested I’ve ever been.

Don Lane basketball camp was awesome. Salted Gatorade, little Caesar’s pizza, and shenanigans in the dorm were what it’s all about.

Pot roast can be good, depends on the cook. Good luck with your pelvic floor Sloot.

Pretzel don’t sweat the mammo call back too much, it’s pretty common. Even if a biopsy is recommended, 70-80% should be benign. (Easier said than done from this side)

Did my first full packer brisket this weekend, was fun. Turned out pretty good, learned a few things and got my method down, excited to do again with a primo piece of meat.

Since I’m privileged and tough to shop for, have decided to step up my knife game. Primo set of wusthof steak knives, 12” Spanish slicer, and Damascus steel Chef should be in my future.

Rona running wild, stay safe Wildcat friends.

I love my neighborhood with the exception of a few.

I put a bin of trash on top of my can Monday night that apparently made its way a few houses down. My guess is people always come through on garbage night to see what is being discarded. In this case it was a bunch of Christmas light boxes and some old ornaments.

Instead if thinking it may have been moved, we received the bin back with an anonymous note attached accusing us of dropping off at their place and being appreciative of us not doing it again.

I'm not much of a poster on neighborhood apps, but this travesty could not stand. Called THEM out and posted a picture of the note with me basically saying "don't be a *****...come down and ask your question."

Really not in the mood to deal with this childish ****.

Atta boy. **** wouldn't happen in the South End, would it? Write a letter out there and you'd have to move by the weekend.

Our former neighbors pulled a similar move a few years ago.

We were having work done on our driveway and the concrete saw (allegedly)blew dust all over their car. So we get a condescending bitchy letter. From our NEXT DOOR neighbor. That we see, but don't converse with, basically everyday. Rather than walking over one of those times we get 3 paragraphs scolding us. Her name was Karen, btw.

Anyway, we made the mess so I went and got them a gift card for all their cars to be washed and walked it over. "Hey, sorry about that. The wind was blowing and we didn't realize they'd be using a saw. If you have any more issues, just walk over next time."

-if someones trash blows in my yard...i pick it up and put it in the trash can, weird right?

-i *will* nicely call someone out for letting their dog crap in my yard and not picking up. Keep a couple Kroger bags in the front closet for such an occasion. Not cleaning after your pet is "low rent".

People in our neighborhood cry about people that do pick up their dog's ****. Even see some signs asking to use another yard.

Marcus be an invitation to the pup because he loves those yards for some reason.

I’m not sure what irritates me more, lazy mf’ers who don’t put their shopping carts back in the corral or inconsiderate a-holes that don’t pick up their pet’s 💩 in other people’s yard.

Despite the state of the basketball team and more importantly the overall direction of the program I’m very bullish on good times ahead.

* It appears that Andy Dandy is going to remove some of his executive orders that have crippled small businesses, their employees and kids that want to and need to be in school.

* Reading in between the lines it seems like we’ll have access to a vaccine sooner than what people originally anticipated a few weeks back. The Lass is getting it in a few weeks.

* Stoops seems to want to follow what other programs have had success with and grab someone from the NFL ranks to be the OC.

The future is bright for Kentucky Football. Look at all of the young talent and nobody was forced to play this year.

*Because of the Lil Lassies and their excitement for all things Christmas my inner child has been rekindled.

*The Winter Illuminations deal at The Parklands is very well done. Christmas Light display on steroids. Seeing their reactions was truly magical.

* They’re loving Christmas music and we’ve been listening non stop since last week. I’m all about the Christmas Classics with The Rat Pack, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, etc but Wham’s Last Christmas is a straight banger.

* I’m a warm weather person but have really enjoyed this cold December. I want it to be cold this month. Please give us a good snow soon.

*Sitting in the living room with a brown water staring at the fire and Fraser Fir Christmas Tree in the living room feels so damn good.

* Headed to The Greenbrier on Friday with the Lass and Lil Lassies.I’ve never been but the place looks magical this time of year. We’ve booked Christmas activities for the girls and a Polar Express Dinner on Saturday.

On Sunday we’re getting a sitter so we can hit up Prime West 44, the steakhouse at the resort, and then the ***pours Old Forrester on the rocks” the casina and Fan Fuel Sports Book. 😃

-prime 44 is solid. Take the girls for a sunday or two...nostalgic/up your alley, if i may say.

-it'll be tough with the littles...but if you can make time for the bunker tour it's pretty cool.

-take at least one shower (post swim) in the locker room. The water is hot and the pressure is incredible. It's the little things, gang.

Michael Bublè has great Christmas music.

Sitting by the fire with the lady, Christmas tree lit, my favorite adult beverage while listening to the silky smooth sounds of Kenny G playing silent night is an all timer for me.

-next door neighbor has an *old* black lab "jessie" that roams freely on our place...occasionally she will just lay down and not be able to get up. I carry her in her house for neighbor lady*. Great dog.

*late 60's early 70's, very fit. Last time Dad was over(graduation)....he was all "sooo whats the story with your neighbor lady". #oldnotdead.

-Killa heavily endorses The Greenbrier. [jumpingsmile]

-Assuming all long-time dog owners have experienced the "terror" of being on a walk and either forgetting your bag, or discovering the little bag holder attached to the leash is empty as your dog takes a ****. It's absolutely worth the piece of mind to run home, grab one, and return.

-This year's top basketball teams are as close to old school as we've seen in a really long time, as far as being veteran constructed. The pendelum is really swinging back that way. Most of these squads don't even have a legit lotto type star, either - rather, just college 'stars'.

-Luka Garza will end up being the most slept on back to back National POY, maybe ever? How many have there even been in the modern era? Dude is just a monster, and that entire team is loaded. Love Wieskamp, and Bohannon has been there 7 years.

It's kinda cool seeing Illinois be good again btw. Have loved most of their great squads of my lifetime, especially the Gill/Battle/Liberty/Bardo squads under Henson. Of course, the Williams/Head/Brown team was awesome, too.

-Her character is a mess, but that Kaley Cuocuo chick from The Flight Attendant is [smoke]

-The death of Tony Hsieh has the makings of a movie, or at the very least a solid Dateline. Former Zappos CEO, and the man largely responsible for the downtown Las Vegas renaissance - has pumped over 350M downtown from his own pocket. New tidbits coming out daily, was a complete wildman with somewhat of a double life.

-Whatever happened with the other Tony construction drama, with the dude trying to extort?

-Started GOT this week. As far opposite of my 'genre' as it gets, but 100% of people can't be wrong so I'm finally giving in. Needed a 'long' show commitment, b/c sports just aren't the same for me right now, which saddens me. Always knew I'd get to it eventually, now seems like a perfect time.

-Nice to see the sun.

-Greenbriar has been gaining some interest with me, good riding out there, Gambol, Fancy. Would love to play a round on the old school style golf course. Same with Blackberry, which a certain gyero poster is at right now. Can't wait for a detailed rundown. That place is NOT cheap.

-Currently planning about 4 -5 trips, which I assume all but 2 will be nixed. Fun nonetheless. Pumped that sweet bill gates zombie juice in my arm.

-I need to add all these Christmas Albums to the list. I wear Rat Pack out.

-The "rudeness" guy was the same guy that had the cajones to come talk to me. After I told him to gtfo he never came back.

-Elf on the Shelf thing is weird but G is all about it so I guess it's all good. Won't be long before he rolls his eyes at that type of thing so it's more cute than weird. I get the update on her status every morning as he's prying my eye lids open.

-Ordered a couple Japanese damascus knife blanks to add custom handles to. Have some left over black walnut, olive, and cocobolo to choose from. Should be a decent project to occupy wasted time over the winter.

-C-Rod is primed to be a STUD next year.

~Greenbrier is A1 all around, especially if the weather is good and you can get outside. Not sure if the bunker is open but pretty cool stories if so...or find a bartender that has been there a long time to share the details.

~Shots fell last night for Iowa, but that wasn't really the point...their style was in mid-season form. Crisp passes, players in proper spots, and zero hesitation on shots even w/ a hand in their grill. A lot of confidence from that squad.

~New UA mask for the gym works well, and better than the medical ones for heavy exercise.

~The Turner house on Chinoe is always a must see during Christmas. It seems they add something new each year but maybe not. Love seeing the kids jaws dropping walking thru it.

Christmas movies to watch over and over...
Christmas Carol - Alastair Sim version
Christmas Vacation
Christmas Story
Miracle on 34th St - 1947 version
