Twan’s the guy who got called for the charge while we were storming back against Marquette in the ‘03 E8.

I remember them all.

That call still enrages me thinking about it to this day. Maybe more than any other in my UK fandom history.

I bet he ops out of this **** show and I wouldn't blame him to be honest.

I actually don't think it's impossible one of our STUD WINGS does this at some point, especially if it's a scenario where Covid starts wreaking havoc with our schedule. Not likely, of course, but it's crossed my mind given the way this year has gone with everything else.

Can Rhyne Howard play on an interim basis like the Vandy gal?

-Oh, to be a "free" basketball player. Crazy what a difference that makes for a shooter. If he took this shot for Cal he would have been suspended.

This what happens when MCF isn’t around. The starting power forward for arguably the greatest college team ever and “straw the that stirs the drink “ according to Pitino gets referred to as TWAN.

Indefensible if we’re being honest.
Lol, I know how to spell his name.

I mean when did Cals offense change? Our 2017 offense was incredible. Seriously, look back at some of those games. Is it the personnel or what?

The difference is that was his last great class, and they knew how to tune him out and to what degree because they were good enough to do so.

Ever since, we have gotten a 2nd tier, less confident group every year, but continue to treat them as 1 and done talent.

So to make things worse, Cal in all his rants thinks it’s best to clamp done and micromanage because nothing goes good if he doesn’t.

This group is good, and he should be embarrassed to lose games like GaTech out of spite. Stubborn old POS.

This group is good.

Are they? Or do we just think they should be because of recruiting rankings? Skal was supposed to be a transcendent talent too. I don't see it with BJ Boston AT ALL right now. His shot's not that impressive and he basically has one move...a hesitation dribble that he goes into either a drive and scoop shot or a pull-up jumper. He'll get scouted and shut down by league play if he doesn't evolve. I thought Clarke would be my whipping boy preseason but he and Jackson are the only freshmen where I actually see the ability in them. Boston and Askew are overrated and Ware is just meh.

I keep telling myself it is stupid to get worked up about something I have zero control over....I'll keep you posted on how that goes.

Isn't this all just the result of having 5 guys from last year who left UK with eligibility and didn't get drafted in the 1st round? 4 not getting drafted period (includes Juzang)?

I don't mind not having a collection of can't miss lottery selections so long as they don't still carry the same shelf life as those that are. I do believe that Baker and Juzang were treated incorrectly, but I also wonder if those guys were never going to accept more years at UK. It seems that the belief for many of those guys is that the long term answer is to get coached up somewhere else when it turns out they aren't a can't miss pro. See Charles Matthews as well.

Cal is too stubborn, arrogant and egotistical to admit that his "Best day in UK history" has been corrupted into a situation where UK is now attracting guys with no willingness to accept that they aren't a short timer.

That's why you get what we have this season. I don't blame these players at all. It's a ridiculous task to try and hit the ground running under these circumstances. I blame Cal for creating the circumstances and never acknowledging the root issue impacting the program.
