You won’t hear a thing from me defending him or his “style” again.

2 ball stoppers are by far his favorite players.

1 unsure, unconfident, should be HS senior at PG

Lack of self awareness, period

I still like the pieces and I hope he gets them to “buy in” to his BS, but man he has his work cut out unless he leans heavily on Mintz, I’m not sure this thing rights itself.

I hope we have to quarantine so I don’t feel obligated to watch these losers.

Hell, even Jackson- God bless him- was awful down the stretch.

Boston played one of the worst all around games I’ve ever seen at UK.

Askew is outclassed. It’s comical he’s playing here.

Great leadership, Sarr!

I’ll give props to Toppin - who’s probably our worst player besides Askew. At least that kid played with some enthusiasm.

I’m pretty damn irate with Cal.

Cal hype is over

F Chad, Vern, and all the lickers.

It’s a joke. He sacrifices wins for his own ego.

The lineups during the ever crucial early 2H stretch are unforgivable

He turns good shooters (and players) into timid pussies with his mania. Just watch how they consistently instantly transform at the next level against WAYYYYYYYYY better competition.

And his loyalty to bum *** FRESHMAN over experience, loyalty (how ironic) and hard work is the ANTI of everything I’m about as a sports fan.

I’m seriously over it. GFY

I feel like going through all my old posts and making a Ryan Howard esque list of everyone who ripped on me for ripping on this offense for the last 3 years. Lot of people in this thread.

Chumps do a GYERO search and let us know who shat on you about the offense.

Krazykats doesn't count, FWIW.

Yeah, unless something fundamental somehow changes I'm done with Cal. We're well into the decline.

It would be one thing if (like 2013) he flubbed on a recruiting class and the guys were just not very good. It's not about that. This team is bad, but it's really not about that.

It's the various outdated philosophies that just fundamentally can't win. We don't watch other team's film. We don't zone unless we're desperate. We don't space the floor. We don't move the ball. We don't get open looks. We don't play our shooters and when we do we don't let them play through mistakes.

We don't let the best players play, we let the best recruits play. Come hell or high water.

It's the man's ego that not only refuses to change any of this stuff, but digs in and CONTINUES to operate this way to spite the fans (The basketball bennies) who think they know better. It's the smug, self-satisfied attitude even after bad losses... the man thinks he built Kentucky basketball. He thinks he's our Coach K. Horseshit. We'll be here long after he's gone. He's forgotten that we're a benefit to him, and he's ceased to be a benefit to us. Unless something very fundamental about the man changes, this thing's run its course.

Clarke's only 2 made 3s of the year didn't count for those reasons. Would be really neat if he or Boston hit one tonight, as they're a smooth 0-11 on the season combined.

It Didn’t happen tonight, but it’s a long season

I still have confidence these guys will make one. They are *elite*, and it’s only been 3 games.

Anyone who doesn’t think they will make a 3 this year is a ***** and should probably pick a new team & sport.

Allen needs to give Willis a call. He can empathize with personal preference towards an certain image being promoted by the program over individual player effectiveness. Askew, Boston, and Clarke could **** on the court and Cal would offer to wipe.

I understand that options are limited since Brooks is hurt, but that's partly because Cal is stuck in certain paradigms. You don't owe Ware and Topping playing time. Kansas is rolling out 5 perimeter players and they are out rebounding us on the offensive glass anyway. Why not play Boston at the 4 and go small? Boston likely gets a better match up and we can stretch the floor with Allen and Mintz.

Anyway, start Clarke at PG. He has talent to get past the initial defender so tell him he's the playmaker. Allen, Askew, and Mintz can play off the ball and be 2 guards. Mintz or Askew can spell Clarke when necessary. Plus, if Brooks is one of our 5 best players, Clarke would have run the point if we want our 5 best on the floor anyway. We might as well begin the transition.

John Vincent Calipari has destroyed this beloved program. I mean look at our roster. We have 1 (one)! ******** returning player. They either go to the NBA or transfer, F this ****. It’s took 10 years but the turnover has absolutely ruined this ****.

You can ***** about previous years’ offense all you want, but I’ve never seen anything this pathetic.

Once Kansas realized all they had to do was get in our face and overplay everything, we were done. There isn’t a single player on the team with decent handles. Not one.

Sarr has always fought foul trouble, so get used to that. Fletcher and Ware are pretty much useless right now. Askew... holy ****.

Archie Goodwin thinks Boston falls down too much.

We better do something different or Brooks better be the most improved player in history.

We’ll find out if Cal can still coach or not, this season. I normally wouldn’t be this upset about a 3 pt loss to Kansas this early in the season, but that was an absolute shitfest.

Touch this.

So much for not caring.

Cal encouraging guys to leave who will go 2nd round at best, and most likely go undrafted, is infuriating. And he does it every single year. Put that on top of our transfer issues, and you get an entire new team. It simply isn’t a sustainable way to run a top tier program.

I’m all for guys leaving who have a legit chance at being drafted in the first round, but you aren’t doing these guys any favors by encouraging them to go and then they fail to get drafted. It hurts them and the program, but if they sign some short term ******** deal Cal gets to check another player on his list of guys that “made it” to the NBA “because of him.”

I didn’t mind the late Clark 3 with 35 seconds left. It was a good look and at least he had the balls to take it plus it gave us a 2 for 1.
Our offense in front of our own bench in the second half the last two games has been atrocious since it’s right there in front of the micromanager.

Camp Cal can’t get here soon enough so he can put in some “stuff” for offense.

I'm pumped that all the players will be microchipped to make sure they can't be close to each other for more than 5 seconds. Should do wonders for ballhandling under pressure.

I’m not watching the Georgia Tech game- which makes the third time in 3 years I’ve taken an early season break from a team I’d been dying to see play for 8 months. I’ll check in for Notre Dame and if I see F’ing Devin Askew starting, I’m logging off again.

And I’m not watching our disease-ridden football team either.
