-yup, prima was a piece of ****. Theirs was a controversial relationship...as he was a little "too" italian/sicilian for a nice white girl to marry, at that point in time.

Had a raccoon in our last house. It pissed and **** everywhere in the attic and it was a pain in the *** getting it out of there and the mess cleaned up. Paid a guy who looked exactly like Turtle Man to do everything. He did a great job, but I was disappointed he released the racoon into the wild somewhere and refused to execute it in my driveway.

Springsteen's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", Wham's " Last Christmas" and Band-Aid " Do They Know It's Christmas " are all on the worst of list. Morrissey said about " Do They Know..." that famine and starvation are terrible things but people should not have to suffer and listen to that either.

I cannot express how psyched I'd be if the turtle man removed the raccoons. YEE YEE

I definitely care, but my excitement is considerably less for these early big games when we've already been handily beaten by a mid-major, which has become fairly routine.

I love the Cats, will always love the Cats, will always get fired up about them, but I am definitely sick of getting nut tapped early in the season. Never fails to turn us all from optimists to ***** bus riders.

I agree with your sentiment, but we've actually only lost to 3 mid-majors in 12 seasons.

Richmond, Evansville and Robert Morris

Unless we are counting UConn 2014 AAC, 2011 Big East (x2) or Seton Hall from the Big East.

Twice in 2 seasons is a bit disturbing any way you look at it, though.

***MY WINDING INCOHERENT THOUGHTS ON THE STATE OF UK MBB***

You don't get to complain about being young when you've decided to construct your team this way.

We are all tired of crashing toward the rim and just throwing the ball at it.

Wouldn't shooting more 3's open up the lane for driving more? OTOH if we go 0 for 10 from 3, is shooting more of them the answer?

Other teams seem to actually run plays to get shooters open. Strange concept.

We were 25-6 last year with what I feel was a legit chance to win it all. I have felt we had a legit chance nearly every season since Cal has been here. The Murray/Ulis team was a stretch looking back, but I was convinced after beating A&M in the SECT. My bad.

We had the numbers quite a bit the other day where we should've been able to get a wide open 3 in transition, but chose the bull in a china shop approach instead.

Why hasn't Johnny Juzang played for UCLA yet?

JemaRl Baker was 1 for 6 from 3 in 16 minutes for Arizona in their opener. At least he gets to shoot them, I guess.

We need some of those ******** to stick around a few years.

He isn't even eligible for Xavier yet, but why oh why wouldn't we have made an effort to sign Kunkel, the KY product transfer from Belmont?

We need a Final Four.

We need a ship.

2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 were all golden touching opportunities for us to win it all, the way things worked out. Win just 2 of those and everyone but Randall is probably pretty happy. Can't dickfinger the next opportunity.

I go to Morrissey for all my Christmas music takes for sure.

Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" are the two best Christmas songs, and it's not close. So in that respect, Rudd nailed it.

Nothing is worse than “Christmas Shoes”. Maybe “Old Lang Syne”. Man there’s some grade A holiday dreck right there.

The Beatles' Christmas Time (Is Here Again) is not only the worst Christmas song in existence, it is in the top 5 of worst songs of all-time.

Those cash grabbin' *** clowns couldn't even be bothered to write more than one ****** *** verse.

Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again

Ain't been round since you know when
Christmas time is here again O-U-T spells out

Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again

Ain't been round since you know when
Christmas time is here again O-U-T spells out

Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again
Christmas time is here again

This is literally it. One trite, meaningless, lazy, dog **** verse, repeated over and over for nearly 4 minutes. I mean, seriously, go f*ck yourselves, Beatles.

Not a commentary on where Sinatra ranks in the Christmas music hierarchy, but this album does it for me.

The bottom line is that I don't want to waste good talent playing caveman basketball.

When Cal chirps after beating some inferior opponent by 12 or so that they did it and only hit 2 threes as if that's proof that the analytics are bogus, it's about the same as proclaiming there is no global warming because we had snow flurries in October (this reference was only to make a point of sample size not a political take).

We have plenty of guys on this team that, with a commitment to finding and taking 3's, would be more than capable shooters and floor spacers...it would make guys like Clarke's life soooo much easier.

Side note to my rant...our cutting on offense is halfassed and without purpose and has been for years. We score off of iso's, pick and roll and offensive rebounds after our initial window dressing of offense goes through the motion. The "cutting" we do gets us no where and seems to eff up our spacing (I think it messed up Sarr a few times in the second half).

“So-and-So just hit like...70 threes in my super special three point drill...folks...like....that’s never been done before”

That’s one of my favorite Cal things. B-Rad lit up the three point drill, TMFS. That’s how he got braids.

Muppet Christmas Carol has a fantastic soundtrack. Buble’s album is a solid effort that I also enjoy.

Church bangers:

Joy to the World
Angels We Have Heard on High
O Come, All Ye Faithful

Meditational

Ecce Novum

Was just telling the lass this morning how much I miss the choir this time of year.
