I don't get the hoopla. Wasn't the Hnida girl actually scoring points(XP's) in a D1 game a much bigger accomplishment?

Years and years ago, before a deadly virus swept thru the planet and destroyed the majority of the earths population, a scrappy young team from the university of Kentucky lost their starting quarterback, moved a wide receiver to that position, and still achieved great success.

My great grandfather used to tell me that story as a child.

The Broncos will be fine. That’s basically what I’m saying.

Miles (the Broncos mascot and yeah I had to look it up) walks up to center, checks out of a play call and moves to shotgun formation. Miles removes his mascot head and OMG look who it is!!!! You guessed it! It’s Gary Kubiak!

* I picked up 2 1/2 weeks worth of 7 month old lab puppy **** out of my backyard today and that was NOT the most repulsive thing I experienced somehow.

Enjoy your Saturday night!

I mean his last great fight was versus Evander Holyfield 24 years ago so I’m not sure what the worry is. He’s had plenty of time to rest and train and stuff.

I don’t know much, but...

- they had a potential tourney team last year
- they returned almost everyone
- they have 4 seniors in the starting lineup

Richmond is gonna be tough.

Villanova deserved to get boat-raced in OT after pulling a Duke flop to get a chance to tie the game.

F*cking CBB referees ....

So our mega-dawg football stars are talking junk on social media. That’ll show everybody!

What a shitshow. Lots of damage control will need to be done this offseason. Though most of these season-defining, unfortunate events were out of his control, Stoops’ job just got very difficult again. He’s got his work cut out for him.

How so? He was loyal to a QB that wasn’t ready to come back, but he had two very inexperienced players behind him.

We’ve actually lost quite a few players that were huge to our success the past few years and are realistically young/inexperienced.

We had a player/friend reportedly try to commit suicide, meanwhile a HUGE part of who we were as a unit struggling with cancer and passed mid season.

I mean, I knows fans are as irrational and ignorant 95% of the time but a coach enduring that at UK in a weird year like this, is not even close to feeling heat.

Then to think we probably finish 4-6 in SEC play and have a legit reason to think Auburn was stolen from us where we coulda woulda shoulda finished 5-5.

All of those reasons are why Stoops has his work cut out for him. I’m not saying he can’t get it done, I’m just saying those circumstances aren’t optimal. Throw in the fact that it seems like the locker room is getting a little . . . “loose” . . . and it seems even more of a chore than it otherwise would be.

Pat Forde’s SI article had her distance up to 38 yards. And the coaching staff strategically asked her to produce a squib kick as to make use of the repeatable fashion of a soccer style kick she’s accustomed to. And this most certainly was NOT a publicity stunt. And we’re all troglodytes.

Uh huh.

Vanderbilt is an embarrassment to the conference but MUH ACADEMIC SCHOOL!

They play basketball in a retro-fitted symphony hall and their tiny dated football stadium gets overrun by visiting fans in normal times.

But a female kicker and a winless head coach with his job on the line is worth talking about I guess. Its nuts.

F Vandy: I just threw my anchor down

If I’m Mason (and believe me, I’ve sorta been in his shoes), the last thing I’m doing is drawing unnecessary attention to my team. Just let us fly under the radar and regroup in the offseason.

And no, krazy, I don’t Think Stoops’ job is in jeopardy nor should it be. He was dealt a ****** hand this season and has his work cut out for him to clean it up. A majority of this stuff was out of his control, but it is obvious the team has given up on the season and it is his job to reel them back. It’s in him to figure out how to do it, and that will be the challenge imo. I would imagine it is extremely difficult to walk the line between discipline and compassion given these unusual circumstances. That is what I’m referring to when I say he has a tough job ahead of him.

Keep us competitive during the down years, recruit well enough to develop SEC caliber athletes, and take advantage of fate every 3-4 years. So basically Stoops is doing what should be expected of him barring a few outliers. As FANS we can get redassed and call him Piglet from time to time, but in the end, I think most know that he should be cut a lot of slack.

This season needs a big, bold asterisk planted firmly by the number 2020 anyway. If Notre Dame somehow ends up winning it all, well then that’d be perfect.

For those still wondering what it is I’m saying. I am saying he has a difficult task this offseason. How that is somehow being interpreted as his job is in jeopardy or he is in the hot seat is beyond me.

Some of y’all may need to dry out a little bit.

Krazy referred to my original take on the entire mess this season had become. He interpreted it as me saying Stoops’ job is on the line or something. I think we’re all clear now lol.

Not that I agree with it, but there are many families here who have chosen to hold their kids back this year. Lack of proper schooling and social development, and no sports.

I kicked in high school. Like 73’s kid I could hit - in practice - 40 yarders relatively consistently. I never once attempted a 13 yarder though. And when I squib kicked it they’d generally still get down to the 5 yard line.
