Nova/BC was a sneaky good game to take in while crushing a 2017 Artadi rioja. Flipped between that and the VCU/Utah St game.

TURKEY (think HORSE) tradition tomorrow before breakfast and putting the bird in the oven. Won’t be the same without much of our family, but looking forward to putting the rock in the cylinder. Christmas lights going up tomorrow too. #worshiptheholidayseason

I like my team.

Zags/Jayhawks will be a tasty game tomorrow. Looking forward to the WVU/VCU game, too. Digging the BetMGM app being available in Colorado. Geeked about CBB as an escape from the COVID ********.

Happy Thanksgiving, ********.

Krazy, picked up a bottle of your Batch 1, 5.5YO, 122.6 proof bourbon today. Well done, man. That’s good juice.

After fully taking in the fact we appear to have a complete basketball team, I watched both Terminators back to back and drank a good portion of Krazy’s bottle. God bless the USA.

Thank God for Judge Van Tatenhove and common sense - great ruling re private religious schools. I’m guessing the four diocese in the state open back up December 7th. The private Christian schools will probably be Monday. Just need the Sixth Circuit to affirm his decision, which I fully expect considering that it’s a black and white, first year con law issue. Don’t think they’ll grant an emergency stay of the decision, as Beshear has already moved for, given it involves fundamental First Amendment rights.

Called my mom today to make sure they were okay with my family going over to her house for thanksgiving dinner. She said she’d rather succumb to the virus than not have thanksgiving with her grandkids. We’ve been super careful, so it’s not a problem - but I appreciate her Bonny and Clyde attitude.

Really wondering if we’re going to have this football game on Saturday. It got lost in the shuffle of our collective basketball orgasm, but the football team has 18 guys out for Saturday. I hate to take the ***** approach, but to be honest, it’s probably best for the long term prospects of our program if we don’t play that game. There’s not much benefit to going down there and getting murdered. It’s whatever.

When watching the SEC Network, does anyone else’s feed go in and out? Like, random lines and blurs on the screen? I don’t know if I have a problem in my setup, or if the AIDS of Rob Bromley and Jefferson Pilot continue to affect my viewing experience.

In a prior life on thanksgiving eve I might be getting blown behind the big wooden gate of the Drawbridge by a genuine hawg. But here I am on my couch, drunk on the whiskey of an internet friend named Krazy Kats. Can’t wait to get the tree Friday morning.

Keep your nose on the grindstone and out of the pills, folks.

The bar scene the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving was second only to Friday night before Derby for 19 - 28-year old WD.

Already giddy about the quality depth of this team. The length, speed, athleticism and shooting is all there but we go a legit 10 deep.
Keep out Covid and injuries and that depth keeps their legs fresher for the SEC grind. Which works out even better in the Tournament. Gonna sit back and just let them grow into a monster. Might take a hit or 2 but could just as easily not with that much talent. Definitely like my team.

Clarke is a super infectious personality, kinda opposite of his rugged style of ball.

I love that dude.

The whole team is just a neat group off the court imo. But also thugs Bc of hair

The guy has charisma. It's kinda like Derek Anderson with the big smile.

As for the hair, Keion Brooks is probably thinking "kids these days, SMH," because he's way too mature now for silly haircuts.

It’s AMAZING how much solid point guard play can make a team that much better. I’m sure Askew will have some growing pain moments but man, he just oozes with confidence and his IQ seems to be off the charts. Mintz knows where his bread is buttered and seems super confident as well. That no hesitation step back 3..🔥

Re-watched the game this morning before heading to the family for lunch.

* We've got the makings of an Amoeba offense and defense. We've got Askew/Mintz and Sarr and everyone is actually positionless. Good to see.

Also, everyone is a fast-twitch athlete.

* The COVID rules for this game are a great mockery of the situation. Absurd.

Making players sit on little chairs on an island after going out and sweating and breathing all over each other is so stupid that it has to be a practical joke or artistic commentary.

* Apparently about 3 years ago all young black basketball players decided they wanted to look like Wanda Sykes.

* They should probably power wash the concrete sitting area in Rupp. Stands out on tv.

* SWEET BABY JESUS I AM THANKFUL TO WATCH SOME KENTUCKY BASKETBALL AGAIN! Happy holidays, ya filthy animals.

And 12% alcohol

Glad I missed that stuff in my hayday. Definitely was a young millennial thing* that I missed. Thank god, I’d probably not be here today.

* Except Cawood - you animal.

I think Dykes and Cal sped a legitimate amount of time together. Jimmy was echoing many Cal-isms last night on commentary. Also, speaking of last night’s broadcast production, which one was the play by play guy because both dudes sounded like they were doing color commentary?

Also, Dakich remains ESPN’s best analyst. You have to separate the man (because I think he is a genuine ******* in real life) from the job he does on the headsets. He enhances the game and gives good insight.

The Toppers are crowing loudly this morning. They do have a solid little team. And for better or worse, Stansbury’s staff actually recruits Kentucky kids, which has won over a few of their longer-tenured fans. McKnight was their focal recruit out of the state, but they were fawning all over JJ Traynor during 2019 summer team camp.

As for UK, they’re pretty good. Can’t wait to see more of them!

Cal is fng ridiculous. ESPN just showed his postgame zoom from last night.

I MEAN. 30 DAYS AGO THESE GUYS COULDNT EVEN TIE THEIR SHOES. I HAD TO HAVE BRUISER TEACH THEM HOW TO WALK SO THEY COULD GET TO THE JOE CRAFT CENTER FROM THE LODGE. 3 DAYS AGO WE SCRIMMAGED AND I TOLD ELLEN I WAS SO DISCOURAGED I CONSIDERED RETIRING. LIKE, WE DIDN’T MAKE ONE SHOT DURING THE ENTIRE SCRIMMAGE. 0-0. WHAT?!

NOW. IT GETS REAL. WE PLAY RICHMOND ON SUNDAY WHICH THEY SAY IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF THE A-10 INCLUDING MY UMASS TEAMS FOLLOWED BY KANSAS WHICH IS FLAT OUT LOADED. I TOLD THE GUYS IM DOING YOU ALL A DISSERVICE WITH THIS SCHEDULE BUT WE MUST GO ON.
