Surprised to see Sturgill Simpson pick up a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album after UKO declared his career dead at least 2-3 years ago.

Never said he was dead...said he sucks as an singer/artist, despite his cult following. His new album is definitely not "rock".

And to reference anything the Grammy's does these days is hilarious. They died some years back w/ Rolling Stone mag.

-Bam got that 💰

-Rogan podcast with CEO of Whole Foods is pretty solid. Worth a listen.

-Down to just the immediate family Christmases. Damn. I mean, for me it's whatever, I'm typically tired as balls after all the running around. But only so many innocent years left with a 5 year old. Goal now is to make it as normal as possible.

-Cold and maybe snow next week. That's great for me but is going to further smother restaurants as we've now said their temporary parking lot tents are unsafe if using all 4 sides.

-Pretty excited that G spent about 45 of a full NTI school day in class. That's great. I'd consider that a full day. Great work to all involved. Hope it was worth it.

-Fingers crossed for the game, would be a nice distraction while I'm cooking and drinking wine. Sounds like this is going to be a huge learning curve group. So, if things weren't stressful enough. I'm taking Richmond Sunday if it's within 5 points.

-Worship Amy Adams.

-Introducing G to Home Alone this weekend. Surprised they haven't cashed in and remade that sucker yet.

-Best part of the morning has been looking at poultry shears. So I'm that many years old, Llama.

Pretty cool seeing a guy that grew up as poor as Bam sign a deal that will change the trajectory of his family forever after. Love that dude.

Wrong, 80. This is what’s not right about college basketball. It is better to place on a pedestal the wholesomeness of mid major honks who will go on to turn pro in something other than basketball.

As I've mentioned before, if you are planning on buying your Xmas gifts online this year, get it done now.

UPS is already limiting pickups based on total package forecasts given to them earlier in the year. Our, and many others initial forecasts are hot garbage. We estimated a 40% increase in shipments, which is well below the 85% increase we are seeing year/year due to THE VIRUS.

As a result, we currently have 3 52' fully stacked trailers waiting to be picked up...and we haven't hit our busiest incoming order days.

As a front line employee putting my life in danger each day so you can have Christmas, say a prayer. Not just for me, but all those in the ever so dangerous e-commerce and B2B racket.

In conclusion, I'm off tomorrow so I'm getting drunk AF tonight.

Dr examines injuries in Home Alone

“The temperature of that doorknob is not quite hot enough to cause Harry's hand to burst into flames, but it is not that far off... Assuming Harry doesn't lose the hand completely, he will almost certainly have other serious complications, including a high risk for infection and 'contracture' in which resulting scar tissue seriously limits the flexibility and movement of the hand, rendering it less than 100 percent useful. Kevin has moved from 'defending his house' into sheer malice, in my opinion."

First year of law school in criminal law you learn about the legality, or lack thereof, of setting up a trap gun in your house. Granted, that covers an abandoned property, but Kevin would have at the very least been investigated for torture after the first couple of traps.

It happens every year, and the max deals are obviously insane/incredible, but I will never not be amazed at NBA money for "good" (and that's debatable in many cases) players. A sampling of this year:

Joe Harris: 4/65M
Christian Wood: 3/41M
Jerami Grant: 3/60M
Malik Beasley: 4/60M
KCP: 3/39M

...and the list is 50 deep of guys who basically have a pulse, and got 3-8M per season. Like DJ Augustin at 3/21M. Just unreal. Dude averaged 24 minutes and 10ppg (on 39% FG) ..for Orlando.

Make sure your kids all have a nice hoop.

The Christian Wood deal got me. He's been on like 7 different teams in 7 years now. In and out of the G league. Played in 62 games last year and performed well once Drummond was traded. He gets 41 million over 3 years on such a small sample size. Get it while you can I guess.

It’s even worse if you watch this version that was “enhanced” by some VFX guys.

-Isaiah Jackson has me genuinely excited for basketball, but I also have hedged my expectations accordingly obviously.

-**INEXPLICABLY GOOD UK FOOTBALL GAME ALERT** jmo for Saturday.

-Turkey on the egg but sticking to a pretty basic plan. Dry rub. Citrus and herbs in the cavity. Roast pan/rack.

-Old man is in day 15 and doing okay. Really struggled with a bad cough, no sleep, no appetite for about a week. When he was ready to eat again all he wanted was a beef and cheddar from Arby’s which I mean I kinda of get.

-Saw a gofundme on FB last night for Shenanigans. Raised $7k already. That’s pretty dang cool.

-I’m having some pretty erratic swings in diet and exercise, mood, overall outlook, etc. lately. Suppose that is natural but shewee I need that vaccine and March 1 worse than ever.

-Nutcracker music permitted before Thanksgiving this year. Nice to have on in the house.

-My all time UK centric golf outing (personal intrigue only):

-Pat Riley
-Rick Pitino
-Mark Stoops

My 11 yr old is still going along with the whole Santa deal. Maybe his last year, or maybe he’ll never admit to knowing. So you may have more years left than anticipated, anth.

Did home alone and home alone 2 last week. Absolutely nothing funnier than when Kevin sticks that BB gun out the doggie door and blasts Harry right in the balls. We rewind that part over and over.

Smoking my turkey on the Weber kettle tonight. Always hate feeling the rush on thanksgiving day to hurry up because everyone is starving. Took about 5 hours last year but thanks to Andy we have a smaller crowd and therefore a smaller bird this year. Govern me daddy lol

Grandparents aren’t coming this year, which I get. Going over to their farm Friday to dig up some old gold mop cypress. Then putting up my outdoor decorations and finishing the day with Christmas vacation, a classic, obviously but it just hits different on Black Friday.

my favorite weekend of the year, even in these difficult times. Happy thanksgiving folks

Always more amazed when seemingly any ****** player can play overseas for 10 years at 6 figures.

Travis Knight's deal is the one that may never be topped. Was like 25M way back in 1997 or so, right when this type of thing was becoming somewhat regular.

<---- had dinner/drinks last night in a popular local Family Sports Pub's (enclosed patio) tent, which will remain nameless so Bucket can't call the Hotline.

The list is long of places where you can do similar - get out there and support them.

Keith Van Horn once made $4.3 million just to be picked up for a sign-and-trade. Literally did nothing but sign paperwork.

Wrong. He had to show up and get on a treadmill. The NBA even sent someone to make sure he was doing something related to basketball. Rusillo talked about this on his podcast this week. He said that at first, Van Horn came to the practices and sat there in the corner reading a book. The NBA caught wind of it and said he had to more than that - so they made him do the treadmill thing. The funny part is that they said Van Horn was put off by it.
