-bought a copper elbow compression thing from dicks. Not sure what copper has to so with it...but tendonitis pain was relatively nonexistent after tennis tuesday, welcome change.
-geese, currently rocking 10yo(only 2 years use) NB 656's. Sadly NB no longer has American made tennis *specific* shoes. Sad as Im gonna have to replace in the near future...will stick with NB as at least they make *some* shoes in the USofA.

- Hopefully Quickley and Maxey can stay off the china white and have a better career trajectory than Monk. I selfishly hope that them going later in the first knocks the one and done dreams back a peg or two and makes us a better candidate for a 9th in the near future.
- MJ being LaMelo's boss is hilarious. It would be awesome if he challenges Lavar to a game of 1 on 1, demolishes him, and then cuts LaMelo.
- Some dad took his four year old to my son's first day of soccer last Sunday, where he proceeded to cough directly in my son's face in that rare moment of not social distancing. My little guy had a cough and runny nose 48 hours later, had to get a COVID test, and now has to stay home from day-care until his symptoms subside despite testing negative. His sister has now been home for the last two days as well. Seriously, **** that dad. It's 45 minutes of soccer and you not sitting it out led to 6 missed day of school and daycare for us now and counting. ****.

I've got 2 sizes of those dumpling makers and I use them all the time.
MAKE ANY LEFTOVERS INTO A NEW MEAL!!!
Use egg roll wrappers, cut them to size with a cookie cutter and stuff them with reuben dip and seal them up in the dumpling maker before air frying. Talk about good!
Occasionally, I make mini cherry pies for my FIL with the larger one. Makes him very happy.
I make all sorts of apps with those dumpling makers. Use egg roll wrappers and stuff them with whatever you've got. Buffalo chicken with chopped pepperoni, goetta & cheese (duh), homemade pizza rolls, actual egg rolls, etc.
It's a great little gadget for the kitchen.
*. For seasoning cast iron, I use flaxseed oil. Bake upside down in 550° oven for an hour. Avocado oil for cooking/searing. Better results than grape seed oil Clean with coarse ground kosher salt, elbow grease and water.
*. Made my first sauce with a food mill and San Marzano DOP maters. Light. Bright and tomatoey. New process. Keep learning. Ricotta in meatballs too. Braciole w/toasted pignoli.
*. BestBuy just dropped TV prices by A LOT. FYI Sony 65” on the way.
*. Snagged bottle of Bardstown Bourbon Co Discovery Series #3. Highly regarded juice. Can’t wait. On the way straight from distillery.

I've spent far too much time trying to secure two PS5s in the last week since they launched. Followed certain twitter accounts with notifications, reddit thread, joined a GD Discord thread (never knew what that really was until the last couple days), and was able to get one from Best Buy (by miracle) and one from Game Stop (also by miracle). Places are selling out within 15 seconds of them becoming available online. Bots have essentially got every console Walmart sold. And I spent far too much time in a GD queue on PlayStation direct and never ended up with one there.
If any of you plan on getting one for a kid for Christmas, good effing luck.

Every time a new generation of Playstation or Xbox is released they are hard to get since supply is far less than the immediate demand. Right now it's even harder because gaming has increased with Covid, so more buyers than normal. It's also been difficult for Sony to make as many as usual due to Covid (supply chain issues, etc...) Then you throw in scalpers using bots to get hundreds at a time when Walmart announces when they are going on sale, very little to no in-store supply, and it's been an absolute **** show trying to get one.
If you want one now, join a certain Discord thread, reddit, follow Wario64 and PS5Sales on twitter and enable notifications, Popfindr.com, Nowinstock.net, stockinformer.com, download MyStore app for Target to check inventory, have links to the pages ready to hit refresh instantly, etc...

-had sega genesis in college(ea nhl/sonic)...bought a playstation 2 when they came out. Currenty have a wii u and the grls have a switch. Not anti-gaming per se, but i spend a good portion of my day in front of a laptop, and plenty of phone/catpaw time as is...more screentime is the *last* thing i need in my life.

I’ve gotten into the youth baseball bat game lately. Follow all kinds of groups and pages on social media that only specialize in bats. Ridiculous what some of those go for. My oldest is obsessed with them so I’m constantly checking secondary markets for the goats. $1,200-1,500 all day for a 2016 Demarini CF8. Marrucci just realized a special edition Cat 9 yesterday so probably gonna grab a couple for Xmas. In other words, I get it, chase.
I traded a King of Ky for the PS5. I traded for that bottle out of my bourbon gambol winnings so in theory I got it for free.

The bat technology these days is just insane. I bought my son his first “nice” bat this summer (it was $100, not $1200 tho), and the thing is light as a feather. But it absolutely crushes.
