Is it that hard to have a thread designated for sports, daily life(Besides politics) and giving each as much as hell as possible?

It was referenced yday, but honestly maybe it is one of those things where no matter what don’t post about politics. It gets easier as you go, but it has to stop, and now I’d think completely cold turkey is the only way.

I have buddies that have done this with drugs/alcohol. Moderation isn’t the key here.

Just meld normal gyero topics.

AOC - crazy hot or nah?

Do you think McConnell is capable of climbing a ladder?

Would Bernie get ac in a dilapidated (yet new to him) pickup?

Is Kayleigh hiding monstrous chest beefers under there or what?

Any doubt that Chris Christie has wiped his *** with a towel in a public place?

Louisville Wings Power Rankings:

*Momma’s (Best dry rub then flash fried wing in town)
*Indi’s hot (Best, sauceless hot fried chicken wing on earth)
* Hoots (breaded with spicy garlic sass; breaded is the only play at Hoots)
*Rumor’s (crispy with hot sass on the side; original Buffalo style wing in Louisville)
*FABD hot (they need to quit skimping on size of flats; staring to chap my *** )
*Rooster’s hot breaded ( steroid wings)
*Drake’s dry rub Sriracha with hot buffalo on the side (underrated wing)
*Spring St Grill hot buffalo (RIP)
*Back Door (Buffalo Garlic are fire)
* Southern Hospitality Bar & Grill (hot Buffalo style ; 34th and Broadway; it’s deep but the manager, Dudley, makes em with some serious heat)

"Make it stop" randoms (although Irish your Christie question is an absolute LOCK for yes)

- "Black" is the best song on Pearl Jam's Ten, but "Once" might be my favorite.

- Indian summer in full swing in Kentucky. Hard to beat 75 with bright sunshine and leaves in their full fall glory.

- I had done nothing but super heavy one to three rep sets for like two months prepping for that meet. I have never felt more out of shape than I have the last two weeks dropping to lighter weights and higher reps. My heart and lungs are FAT. Still not going to hit the pavement, though.

- Kindle Unlimited has paid for itself multiple times over last few months. Made a commitment to stop playing on Reddit on my phone to go to sleep at night in August and I've ripped through 25 books. PTI and other gyero readers, open for recs.

- I didn't get to travel much as a kid and I keep reading books about the American West. Top spots I want to visit before the Yellowstone caldera explodes:

1. Bryce Canyon
2. Grand Teton
3. Yellowstone
4. Grand Canyon
5. and the Petrified Forest, just because my grandparents have a chunk of petrified wood on their mantle from the 60s.

WITH Bonzo on Mizzou. Don't see a scenario where they score enough on us to make it much of a game. Cats comfortably IMO.

WISH someone would plainly explain to me just WTF the plan is for CBB this season.

HAPPY that my solo stove yukon arrives this afternoon.

TIRED of CFB being a Bama/Clemson invitational. I hate Ohio, Willy, and Chad, but a deep dark part of me kind of wants to see Ohio State beat one of those two.

CONCERNED for all of our levels of happiness this winter. It's going to be rough.

WOULD like to see the white on white on blue Saturday.

HAVE K stickers if anyone is interested.

PLAYING 18 today with a prospect. Perfect day for it.

THINKING it may be time to sell the 2003 Lexus with 220K miles on it. I'm over cars, but reaching my pain threshold.

INSTALLED a mural wallpaper in the dining room. Floor to ceiling after removing the wainscoting. Looks fantastic, especially after the fresh coat of velvet white I threw on the trim.

TOUCH all of you for this **** show of a thread it's become. Pathetic tbh. Get a F'n grip, folks.

If there was a GYERO podcast, it would be like "The Spitballers." Love those guys.

Once you get west of Kansas, America is a treasure trove of natural beauty. I've been to many of the national parks out there, and your list of 5 is solid, but don't sleep on Arches NP in Utah. That one caught me off-guard with how stunning it is.

I still can't believe EVH is dead. The list of musicians we've lost this year is especially rough. J. Prine, N. Peart, K. Rogers, H. Reddy, C. Daniels, S. Davis, P. Green, B. Withers, C. Daniels, H. Reid,... Just damn.

Anyone watched "The Haunting of Bly Manor?" Not as scary as Hill House, and a bit of a mind f**k, but not bad.

"Once" > "Black" is a solid take. Both are amazing, but I go back to "Once" more often. I wore it out my freshman year at UK.

Can’t believe they remade Red Dawn. That was one movie you just shouldn’t have touched. Never remake a Swayze.
I agree. They remade Point Break which was his finest acting job. They were going to remake Roadhouse with Ronda Rousey in the lead role, then her career imploded. Thank God for that. It's just a matter of time before they remake Ghost. It's a crying shame. Swayze should be sacred.

I ripped through it last week. It's more Gothic romance than outright horror since it's based on a Henry James piece (which I have downloaded to read, somehow I missed that as an English major??). I loved it, my bf didn't as much because he could only see the characters as Luke, Nell and Theo. The background creepy bits are crucial...need to watch it closely to catch the things in the blurry background of the frames. I wanted to stab myself in the ear every time the little girl said "perfectly splendid," though. Shush, Peppa Pig.

** HIIT workout is my go-to cardio these days. Knees won't go along with any ridiculous length of running (2+ miles) anymore. Throw burpees in if you hate yourself.

** In terms of attending live pro sports, NHL game over NBA, MLB, NFL. Non-stop action. No replays. 100x easier to follow than on tv. 80's hair metal blasted all/air. Plus a hockey sweater > all other jerseys.

** 'Ten' was one of the albums I cut my teeth on playing drums and loved their original drummer, Dave Krusen. Dude has some crazy fills and their songs were way more uptempo and just fund to jam to.

Conversely Matt Cameron is great with Soundgarden but can't stand his style of play with PJ. Too homogenized.

** All flats. Drummies are for children.

No doubt, a few hours of banter occasionally, especially with the impending election(and pissing you/wcc off), but this is basically CNN/FN headline trash. Take that **** elsewhere.

- I'm an idiot for thinking that SAE capped the first word in each of his randoms so that they'd combine to create a message. Nope, just random capitalization. Still....solid effort.

- Pretty epic Thursday Night Football matchup tonight between the Giants and Eagles with a combined record of 2-9-1. Of course, the ratings will undoubtedly be higher than those for the World Series.

- I won't watch the actual game, but I may still try to remember to hop over to ESPN for the kickoff of Appalachian State vs. Arkansas State. Not many stadium settings more beautiful than Appalachian State during the Fall. Would love to see a few stadium shots set against that backdrop.

- More than ready to start taking my kids to school with actual daylight outside.

- College football needs SOMEBODY west of the Mississippi to not be a pretender, and truly rise up to be a big boy again. Oklahoma took their shot and missed. USC is still employing a fill-in. Tom Herman is all hat and no cattle. The sport is just more interesting with cross-geographical strength.

- Buying pickles at lunch.

How does Richie fail to mention Cumberland Brews on every wing list. Man I worshipped back in the day. Fries sidecar and their chipotle mayo. Shew

- Heavy clutch kick lately. X ray vision and electric worry dueling for my napkin version of my Friday five. Just want to give anth a heads up in case he's never heard of them.

- Top 5 drummers of all time : John Bonham, Ginger Baker, Billy Cobham, Neil Peart and Brann Dailor (my contemporary choice).

- Existential dread (2020 edition) taking its toll, I feel drained constantly.

- Pulled my first Krazy move recently letting the second child into my bed in the middle of the night. Hopefully I'll be a bourbon baron soon.

Bc they’re no longer open. Otherwise I would. Man, Cumberland Brews had good food.

By far the hottest wing town. The only time I had to ask for a glass of milk halfway through my wing order.

-For the meat heads, Dr Jekyll pre-workout is good stuff. Non stimulant so you don't feel like you're having a heart attack after a cup of coffee later on. Always 20 reps.

-I'm not mad at drummies. Especially if they're breaded. Standard and the flats are superior.

-Kayleigh 😍 Worship. Shew wee. Love when she gets spicy.

-3 weeks no tweeter. Finally stopped unconsciously clicking where the app was on my phone and shortcuts tab.

-Backyard renovation is seemingly going to last forever. Oh well, will be nice next year.

Tried and just didn't hit me right. If I want the beta-alanine (ants from jack3d to the lay person) I go with these gummies. Easier than guzzling a huge glass of water at 5 a.m. as well.

And I don't see where you say non-stimulant, as it has caffeine and ants producing chemicals as well?

- prefer a mild heart attack with my preworkout. 3 scoops of C4 LFG.

- went for a run last night with a buddy, tried a new route, ended up circling downtown and getting stuck/lost in all the new amazon construction. 8.5 miles later...dead.

- Ventured into Peter Millar pants, love em. Still not replacing my AG jeans, but they’re in the rotation.

- wings for dad tonight. Dry rub on the Weber with an indirect setup. Bourbon on the patio for the debate.

- City is just a mess today. Random protests on random corner, Trump throwing a rally at the JW downtown. Ready to get my *** home.

Speaking of Shutterfly, I got an email reminder this afternoon from 15 years ago. It was the original Nagasaki night. Pti, andypolly, kgar, herrm, ghetto, belly dancer and the Mrs., BBdK, 80, B$, Anth, and me. It was about 5-6 weeks into the GYERO romances. There was a lot of karaoke that night. wcc, Huber and Doc were at the track but didn’t come to dinner.

Super false.
. I was there all night. Got to hear BBdK and Dan perform Run Down or whatever their rap song they are super passionate about at least 2-3 times in the middle of Nagasaki. Riding around Lexington, crushing drinks and blasting music on that Limo Bus was a just freaking epic.

-Shutterfly never forgets.

* Glad Cumberland Brews closed. It's that much less COVID-19 spread and impending senseless mouth spittle murder.

JMHO.

* Couldn't make it thru this entire article....

.....mostly because Forde's disappointment was just oozing thru its words, but it's a nice reminder that the NCAA is a powerless, useless organization. Behave accordingly. Cheat better.

* As long as we all agree that Jeremy is, without question, the worst song on the legendary Ten album.

#1 = Black
#2 = Alive

* I'll tell you what's increasingly rare --> making it thru an entire day without an alcoholic beverage. Damn. COVID lockdown has changed the world, man. It's so gd easy to crack a beer in the afternoon.

* So Borat punk'd Rudy Guiliani? Dude. That guy is just epic. Can't wait for the sequel to come out.

* IPAs continue to confound me. They taste like mop water, or so I presume. What a disgusting mess.

* I'm sorry I'm late. I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, when I found out I received nothing. Broke my arm.

* #maskup!!

* C'est parti?

Indeed, Oliver. Let's freaking party.
