About 100 years ago I was quail hunting with my dad and had to pee. Set the shotgun next to a tree, whipped it out and started peeing opposite the tree. Didn’t see the electric fence until it hit me. Felt like my junk blew up, screamed bloody murder and collapsed unconscious. Woke up in the emergency room and couldn’t pee without burning fire for days. To this day I’ll look for several minutes even if I’m deep in the woods before I pee. I’ve been shot, beat down, gone through car windshields in crashes, broken bones and did Chemo for a year but nothing compares to that pain!

Can't believe there is no mention of the football schedule change. It is now:

10/24 - Mizzou
10/31 - UGA

Not sure of the reasoning but I'm sure it helps UGA in some way.

I’ll see your pain and raise you a dozen or so passed kidney stones. Those suckers make you want to die. In fact, I’ve had so many of them that one night last week I went to the bathroom to take a leak and passed one that I didn’t know I had.

How does that help UGA? If anything it helps us a lot by not having UT/UGA back to back in a desperate need wins way.

If we can pull off a W tomorrow, then have Missouri, we COULD get our season back on track! 3-3 after UGA, I’d take that right now.

Tyga wrote a song about her though. And will definitely plant a baby in her anytime in the next two years

So Nick Saban going to expose the false positive issue with our current tests? Hope so.

Not if ANDY has anything to do with it:

“Another piece of unfortunate news: We have a COVID-19 outbreak at the Little Sandy Correctional Complex," Gov. Beshear noted. "We’ve had 17 inmates and two staff test positive. We will be testing the entire facility, and we will be using the protocols that we first used at Green River to successfully stop an outbreak that had occurred there.”

I always wanted to send my girls to public school K-8 and do everything I can to guide them to hopefully get into Manual, which is one of the best public schools in the entire US with a great math/science & arts programs.

I believe there’s value in public schools as I want them to understand diversity and not think that everyone & everything mirrors what they see at the country club or in our little upper middle class honk fest bubble. Dealing with people from various backgrounds is vital to preparing you for life and business. My personal experience at Ballard was a great one as I was for the most part sheltered growing up and it became an eye opening experience. Had kids in my graduating class go on to Princeton, UVA, MIT, Vandy, Singletary Scholarship at UK, and also had dudes shooting craps and rolling blunts in the parking lot.

All that being said, I’m done with JCPS. I’m not going to have my girls be held hostage by anything political and a teacher’s union. This nonsense and the collateral damage involved is a real shame. Middle class folks will be ok but the real victims are the inner city kids with a single parent who can’t afford childcare and they are home alone trying to work a chrome book and aren’t getting the proper nutrition they would receive at school. This is straight from my cousin in law who teaches elementary school at Klondike Elementary in Newburg. The kids want to go back.

Touch you, Andy. Go Cats.

Thank god my kids are 3 and 1 and I don’t have to deal with this yet. Have absolutely no clue why the hell Kentucky of all states is being handled like California and all the citizens are just sitting there taking it. Really bizarre and feel bad for you guys, even Ohio is way more opened up and many of the public schools in our area have the full in person option.

JCPS extends NTI until 'significant reduction' in Louisville COVID-19 cases.

GO ANDY, GO!! YAY!

You want to join my war? These people only care about Covid, and consider no other factors, like mental health or nutrition. We complained about lack of instruction with NTI, so they loaded up the new schedule with all instruction and little to no breaks. The people in charge are vindictive with no soul. The local board meeting here on Thursday lasted almost 5 hours. The board read letter after letter from parents that sounded exactly like your post. And they’re not going to do a damn thing. We must save lives! Can’t go back until it’s safe!!! Our children aren’t commodities!!!! *******. All of them.

Good old liberal values. Cattering to the upper middle class and up that's actually doing quite well during lockdown. We're going on nearly a full school year of no school for some of our poorest areas.

How they spin the fallout from this is going to be cute.

Yesterday was a bit of (abby)normal.

-Made plans with coworker to grab lunch at The Stave. Really cool place and enjoyed sitting out on the tree house thing over top of the little river that runs by Woodford. Suggest the place for that alone. Food was just alright, fries really good, chicken sandwich was meh, especially after the build up. Too thin, massive bun, overcooked, under-seasoned for a "hot" chicken as I got no spice.

-Central Kentucky was just showing off yesterday. Goodness the colors and autumn are amazing. Zipped down 60, Duncan, McCracken, Versailles. No clouds. Awesome driving giving the new Sturgill a couple listens.

-That Sturgill album is just great. So glad he went back to bluegrass.

-Dropped in Buffalo Trace and Woodford gift shops. BT was PACKED, 30+ minute line to get in and it wasn't due to a drop. Seems like mostly out of towners. Woodford was crowded as well but no wait.

-Woodford Wheat, first time trying, really good.

-Keeneland with TallGingerGuy, gambol was awful but being at Keeneland was great. Odd for it to not be packed an buzzing on a fall Friday but otherwise beautiful. Bread pudding of course. I'm going to try my hand at that stuff soon.

-Tulip for our 5th "last dinner as a team of 3". Quality has dipped a bit but the seafood pasta was pretty good.

-3:30p soccer game. Awesome.

-Go bag being packed today.

I think they are catering to the teachers - many of whom like the idea of working from home for a year. It’s pure laziness too. They basically give the kids Fridays off. There’s limited work to do and only one or two live classes on Friday.

Public employee unions are an affront to taxpayers. The teachers union is doing a disservice to teachers, students, and taxpayers with their shenanigans about their obsolete and corrupt pension.

The worst thing they've done though is stick us with this silver spoon nitwit that is taking the scenic route to state bankruptcy.

Yup, the class G was supposed to be in, allegedly, calls it a day at 9:30a on Friday. For what it's worth, most of the teachers I know, want to be back in class at this point. I just think the schools weren't prepared for the amount of parents that would be doing in person and don't have the teachers to cover. Was told a lot of teachers are just retiring, strokin? Assuming they thought a majority would of parents want NTI and the surveys came back >70% in JCPS and FCPS. That's my understanding of the issue.

I think there are a good number of public school teachers who oppose KEA’s political activities and positions. And a much greater number (probably a majority) who are indifferent to it. They just want to teach. Strokin, correct me if I’m wrong on that, but that’s my anecdotal impression.

It’s important to make the distinction between rank and file teachers, and the political animal that is the KEA and it’s county-level organizations (looking at you Jefferson). It’s entirely possible to oppose the latter while still supporting and respecting the teachers on an individual level.

I say this as someone whose mom is still teaching high school after 44 years in the classroom. People who disparage teachers definitely are walking on the fighting side of me.

(not directed at you PTI - I know you’re just being a troll *******)

Could you imagine if Alabama had a governor like Andy Dandy when Saban rolls out with his team tonight.

Sit down, Andy. It was a false positive and I have more power than you. TFP.

The funniest thing about JCPS is they had a real live test to learn from. Catholic Schools have been flawless. Not even a hiccup yet. But the KEA and Andy wanted the catholic schools to fail so bad they are ignoring it. Andy HATED when they went against his mandate.
