I've got a whoop strap and it does a pretty remarkable job of tracking sleep quality and quantity. I've found it easy to correlate behaviors with good sleep. Example: reading before bed v. watching TV, drinking too close to bedtime, etc.
It also tracks physical activity really well. Might be a cheap, less invasive thing to try before spending all night hooked to wires and then sleeping like Darth Vader.
