~EDM isn't music...it's computerized noise, nothing more.

~Listened to a few of Sturgill's new tracks...typical unintelligible vocals that sounds like everything else he does. At least the music is good.

~Chris Stapleton's new cuts are solid. Good to see Morgane playing a strong role.

#Music

~University and LTC cases are going to throw KY in a lockdown if Andy has his way.

~Frederick Douglas gets one player test positive and they cancel the game....ignorance.

~Hopefully Saban gets his 2 negative tests and is on the sideline.

~Fauci and his Turkey Day warnings can GGP.

#Masks

~Shadow Creek looks like it was painted....perfect conditions. 6 bills plus tips if you want to play there.

~Golf in the cold a.m. w/ cawood and TrueBlu.....early bourbon flowing.

~Barkley/Steph/Phil/Peyton in the next "Match"...:grimace:

Nothing more simpleton than discrediting an entire genre of music. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of edm, but when I hear skrillex's remix of cinema by Benny benassi, it just hits different.

Piggy backing off of pretzels synth post, if you don't like Kavinsky's Night Call of Drive lore, I got nothing for you.

PS - Ghost is the ****.

I'd be happier shitting on an artist rather than a genre. I'm sure George Strait shouldn't be responsible for Florida Georgia Line being ***. That's the argument being made here.

And you can say that the music FGL makes is nothing like George Strait but I don't have an hour to discuss sub genres.

study for me was just a monitored sleep to confirm if I in fact had sleep apnea. Bunch of wires on my chest and head and an uncomfortable assed bed in a room full of cameras and two techs in the room next door. I couldn’t fall asleep at all the first night and they sent me home at 4 am. Night 2 I made sure I was extra tired and did passout.

I get called back for a meeting to be told I had sleep apnea. No ****, I stop breathing in my sleep. I know this.

so I go back again, and have to do a trial night with a machine and mask on. Sleep like garbage again because it’s awkward AF.

I take it home and stick to it because my now wife is a RT and tells me she will only have sleepovers if I get one.

11 years later and still going strong. I hated it for a week now I enjoy and appreciate it.

edit - and since my study, the doctor has since lost his license. Turns out he was a super troll in the medical world haha. My man.

I feel like that would be the case for me, too. I just typically don’t sleep much at all if I’m away from home. I’d have to be completely exhausted to do it.

I’m not sure if I need one yet, but I’ve woken up quite a bit tired lately. The wife says I’m snoring a lot more than usual. I think it may be weight-related more than obstruction, but I’m considering going to have a test just to be on the safe side.

Yeah when I first got tested I was working until 3 am most nights and they had me report in at 8 pm and light off at 9. Between that and the terrible *** bed they offered, it was a disaster. Given that I was on camera, I couldn't even pop an ambien and rub one out to get settled either .

The next time around I ensured I only got 2-3 hours of sleep the night before and was barely standing by the time the test rolled around.

They then have you back to trial the machine and see how the results go. It took forever to fall asleep with this mask hammering air down my throat, and when it was time to wake me up at 5:45 am they did so by wrenching the mask off my face and dumping my own drool over my head.

But on the flip side, I went from upwards of 60 obstructions an hour to under 5, so the proof is in the pudding I guess.

Yeah, sounds like you need one. Seriously, makes a world of difference. Untreated sleep apnea ranks up there as a wrecking ball on your health.

I didn’t have to do this multiple trip business some are describing. Was pretty much one stop shot at the baptist sleep center...just saying.

Welcome to socialist healthcare. Why accomplish in one trip to medical practitioners what you can do in four?

This was par for the course for my sleep doc - I linked his back story earlier today as to how he lost his medical license after diagnosing me.

I was pondering a Friday Five among this new Sturgill. It’s a tough call. Need a few more listens as whole thing is really good. Really like I Don’t Mind and I Wonder back to back early on the album. Like hearing different arrangements of All Around You and Turtles.

I stay dry Sunday - Wednesday but come Thursday I enjoy a few domestos or some red vino. Last night played some platform tennis (fall/winter sport on an elevated heated court that’s caged in) followed by some Rocky Mountain sodas by a fire pit. Ate some ribs and sweet potato fries for dinner.

A damn train running through my room blaring Rocky Top couldn’t have woken me up last night. Shewee. (Sucks for the lass as she had to get up and tend to the little lassies. Sorry, toots. Dad was out cold. Ha)

It’s amazing what a solid night’s sleep can do for ya. I feel great right now.

I actually think Dr PTI is correct on this one. Lose weight, work out more = fewer sleeping issues. I found that reducing alcohol consumption worked wonders too.

My wife suspects as much. When I had heart surgery, I dropped about 25 pounds in a flash. Didn’t have a hint of snoring for a long time. Felt refreshed. But that weight has come back over time, and so has the snoring and fatigue.

weight gain is so sneaky and annoying when you get older.
I didn’t realize that the first five months of Covid involved me slowly gaining half a pound a week from sitting on the couch eating snacks and drinking wine every night to decompress from trying to work from home and educate and entertain kids all at once.

I am super grateful for my doc and my gym’s owner for pointing it out. Was able to dump thirty in the next two months and change.

No sleep apnea but I apparently have arthritis in my ribs and, boy, lemme tell you how that feels at night as a side sleeper.

I always got a kick out of the Al Purnell story. When I was a kid, simpsonville was nothing but Al Purnells sausage factory, that's it. Then as Louisville started to grow, city folk started to move out there. Ever since, they have ruined that man's life. Complained to the city about the smell, fought any additions, and have been a royal pain in the ***.
Now I get to tell people that I know someone that moved in next to a 100 year old church, and is now complaining about all the cars that show up on Sundays. Good grief.
