Biden pointed out a lot of dumb fiction as well.

Just so we're clear on what he said. They're basically taking the HYDRA approach.

In testimony before the House Sept. 17, Wray said the FBI did not consider Antifa "a group or an organization. It’s a movement or an ideology." Within hours, President Donald Trump, who has tried to get his Justice Department to designate Antifa a domestic terrorist organization, attacked Wray on Twitter and criticized his analysis.

Revisiting the issue in a Senate hearing Thursday, Wray explained, "Antifa is a real thing. It is not a fiction."

He continued that the FBI has seen Antifa engage in "organized tactical activity" at the local and regional level. Its adherents have coalesced and worked together in "nodes" rather than a structured hierarchy across the country.

The type of organization does not diminish how serious the FBI considers the threat, Wray said. "We don't view how nationally organized something is as a proxy for how dangerous it is."

Antifa, a decentralized movement of leftist activists who brand themselves as anti-fascist, anti-racist and anti-government, openly espouses violence. Often, its adherents have been connected to property crimes and arson. However, last month a self-professed member of Antifa, Michael Forest Reinoehl, was accused of shooting a far-right activist in Portland, Ore. Individuals associated with Antifa have also been charged recently with assaulting law enforcement officers.
Thanks for taking 5 paragraphs to confirm what I already said, Anth. You've become quite the subject matter expert on nearly everything these days.

Growing up in VA I really don't know how I became a Reds & Browns fan. But I did and have been loyal to both for 40+ yrs. I'm seriously contemplating being done with the Reds, just don't have it in me anymore. Not for sure who "my team" would be because I've never been a fan of anyone other than the Reds.

Also grown men that talk smack to each other over pro sports teams are the worst type of ish stains. Same grown men that wear jerseys.

Lol, says the guy who spent a few years in the Highlands and went from a conservative to a limousine liberal. We'll take your info with a grain of salt as it's bound to change depending on your surrounding.

I feel like even a minor league team could have scored 1 run in 2 games against the Braves.

One pervailing thought is that the benevolent galactics are 500 million years ahead of us technologically, and that they want to be our friends, which is why they have not come out and revealed themselves to the public. If they just wanted to take over and kill us, they could pretty much do that whenever they want.

Supposedly the detonation of nuclear weapons in the 40’s got their attention, which is when ufo sightings started to dramatically increase and stuff like Roswell happened. Allegedly, aliens met with President Eisenhower and tried to make a deal that we would stop with the nukes in trade for advanced technology, and he declined...

"Prevailing."

1. Generally current; widespread: the prevailing attitude.
2. Blowing usually or most frequently from a given direction: a prevailing easterly wi
nd.

Prevailing, indeed.

BellyDancer - like MANY of my Republican friends - has seen enough from that ******** party. Kudos to him. My friends are getting more left with time ... except here. Writing is on the wall.

<-- very happy to be socially liberal AF.

While also very conservatively hating the government and paying taxes. Doesn't fit in well at all with these two major parties, for damn sure.

Boy do I have the political party for you- keeps you above it all and is VERY popular with fraternity brothers living in urban and “hipper” areas.

Still very much a conservative, Hoss. Just left the party when it became less about principles and more about celebrity. Country over party wasn't a very hard decision and I'm willing to endure the short term pain of living with democratic policies I disagree with to show Trump the door.

Fair enough but I've got my eye on you.

I'm not sure in this day and age if I'll ever make another political donation ever again. The sheer volume of anonymous political text messages and 93 political emails I receive almost every day since making a few donations pretty much seals the deal I'll never give another candidate a penny, not even the old lady next door running for a spot of the county school board.

In Woodford County, I'd say that the school board has had more direct influence on our lives over the past 2-3 years than just about any other elected position. So vote wisely, my man.

Was going to say the same thing. If anything good comes out of 2020 that should be abundantly clear to folks.

Spend less time worrying about the federal elections and learn up on the local stuff.

Dad just delivered a personalized homemade rocking horsey for my daughter that @WynnDuffy ’s cousins made. People are so good to you when you have a baby.

I hope Anth will take the above as a reminder of the good in people and take it as a dose of perspective and ends his divisive methods. Have my doubts but hope he proves me wrong.

At least UK Bill agreed. Better than nothing

-Chad was team BellyDancer for 1 hour. Was fun while it lasted.

Still Team BD. I grew up with republicans- was the only 4th grader at St. Mary Elementary to vote Dukakis. Know many republicans who are smart and good-hearted. I’m glad conservativism exists.

That said, Trump doesn’t represent that. He’s a phony using divisive measures for his personal benefit. Many republicans see it for what it is and are standing up against it.

Props to BD for being one of them.

The Cards haven't spent crap in years. Have you seen the roster? As a fan it has been infuriating. Yet, they still win. They have a winning culture, decades of it. Success breeds success.

Agree on culture. Don't completely agree on success. Their measure of success is similar to UK in basketball. They have not been really happy with their success in recent years.

Baseball and politics... shew. Sounds like y'all need some Mark Jackson talk

----> Verm: While yes, 51-31 is not a bad record Kerr came in off the street after picking up his first whistle from Costco and told Steph and Klay to just shoot whenever they got a half inch of space. F it, fling it up there. And then what happened?

I'm sticking with the abhorrent label. Did this just become about semantics or what am I missing because lord knows no one in GYERO has ever overstated anything?

Correct. I am a lifelong, 3rd generation Cardinals fan. Vast majority of the fanbase irate with front office on lack of spending and involvement with meaningful trades. Happy to be still playing of course, but plenty of frustration.

So what am I missing about the greatness of Mark Jackson?

Please speak in simple terms since I'm just a hayseed.
