UK rolled into the plains with a better overall football team, and predictably **** the bed in every conceivable way.

We ain't going win 5 games this season if we can't find a playmaker. Auburn's defense is talented, but still pretty middle-of-the-road in the SEC.
I dont think there is one aspect of this UK team that is better than Auburn. QB play, playmakers, defensively... I thought going into it we would be right there in everything outside of the WR play... but this is a team that would probably be fighting for 6 wins in a normal year

I'm sure the kid is good but today was not Bossman's day. That big boy for Auburn made me think we still had Karl Booker in our secondary.

* We won just about every statistical category. We out-gained Auburn, had more passing and rushing yards, respectively, +5 in first downs, +13 minutes TOP, went 12-19 on 3rd down, less penalty yards.....If there's a team that can f*ck up that kind of statistical dominance, it's UK. And lose handily 29-13.

* Hard to say how the game changes if Birmingham doesn't f*ck up the easiest review in history. We absolutely dominated the 1H, outside of a quick TD drive on Auburn's second drive. Just when I think UK couldn't possibly get screwed over more in the SEC.....

* Seth Williams was the difference maker. Despite TW's two crippling turnovers, Kentucky has a legitimate shot at winning this game if he doesn't make two incredible plays in the 2H on 3rd down.

* Speaking of Seth Williams; BOSSMAN ----> [eyeroll]

* Eddie Gran has to be the biggest obstacle to UK landing play-makers on the offensive side of the ball. What 4* WR is every going to look at our offense and think: "Yep, that offense is fire!"

* Should've known better than to buy into UK preseason hype.

I guess it’s harder than you think to have a completely one dimensional offense for an entire game against SEC talent...

Terry was terrible.

A bad throw or Turnover happens in football, fine — but he made rookie fundamental terrible decisions all day long.

Inexcusable for your experienced team leader.
He can't be our #1 playmaker. We need to run our offense through the backs and have him make plays off the PA. Him standing back there running and gunning is dumb.

* I hope The Clown's dog is alright.

* Gus Malzahn is currently wearing a short sleeve dress shirt with a tie. What a ****.

* The next cut A.J. Rose makes will be the first. He's been utterly mediocre his entire career.

* I get the Gran hate. On the whole, he's managed to put together remarkable changes to his scheme based on his talent but I get it. It is insane how little he uses tight ends in the passing game. I mean CJ effin' Conrad barely got any catches and that guy had NFL talent and then some.

I just don't understand, especially when our WR talent has been so mediocre for years.

* A ****** start to the season, no doubt, but it is awesome to just see some SEC pigskin.

* Can't wait to dog cuss Matt Jones for sunshine pumping on the postgame show!

Anybody know football enough to explain wtf Eddie was doing. We ran the ball right up Auburn’s *** for 11 play 6+ minute TD on our first drive of the game, then didn’t run anything close to that the rest of the way.

Gus Malzahn was dressed like a McDonalds manager.

Any of y'all insiders have any intel on why coaches come to UK, overstay their welcome while getting overpaid and overfed and dont win games all at the same time?

Please help us simpleton hilljacks out here.

Gran was making up for lost time because he couldn't call pass plays last season. Wish the guy would've gone to UGA

Edit: I'm mad

Bossman’s penalty followed by being owned on the TD catch was a terrible look but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t getting torched all day. I remember a ton of big pass plays with a receiver defended by an LB. in fact I kept screaming at the tv that Joseph should be on Williams straight up all game. I’m not watching replays or highlights to find out if this is right.

Story of the game was terrible decision making by TW. Terrible over and over

Well I’m f’ing pissed.

I’m about 4-5 brown waters in, and I’m still team Stoops, but JFC, you had to have a clue that Terry May come out hesitant and rusty.

So why in the world, with most things going our way, are we passing on 3rd and 1? F*ck that clock! If we don’t make it, F the kicking team too, lineup up quick and snap another damn run!

From there, it was almost as if the coaches wanted to test Terry more than win the game. They forced him into action after a bad play over and over and over to see if he was going to be able to handle it.

Extremely weird, and all I thought was F this, wildcat run has to be more efficient.

Sad day for me, even though I know losing to a top 10 team isn’t the WORST thing to happen starting the season out, but damn! The way the game was so mismanaged from Gran to Terry it is alarming!

Extremely sarcastic here, but we may need Bossman ready for QB reps. We will need that type of personality to rally those troops because I don’t see that Type A personality on that side of the ball.

I was a TW supporter leading up to this game, that he needed a chance to mature, but I think I'm done now. If he was QB all of last season, we don't go to a bowl game. He may play football but he has no understanding of the nuances of the game. Lynn Bowden did , Stephen Johnson did, he doesn't.

Exacerbating Terryble’s performance, the play calling was trying to make it “easy” for him... in turn Auburn was sitting on every terryble route.

Bryce Oliver didn’t play either.

What really stinks is that we DONT have a playmaker in the wings.... and the 21 class is not terrifycally stacked too.

I don’t think it’s as bad as it appears, but I’m worried about a playmaker. Smoke needs 12-15 touches AT LEAST per game imo. Find a way, Gran.

I trust the coaches. I mean, every time we’re ready to question them or write them off, they find a way to deliver. Remember gang, it’s Kentucky football. Let’s compete and see what happens. We’re no longer out of our league, and we actually win a few of these “no f’ing way” games occasionally.

Seeing Mike Leach go into a sedated swamp and do what is happening there makes me wonder “what if,” though. It always will.

I don't think that Smoke is that great. He's certainly a prospect and has an awesome name, but I don't think he's any where close to being a guy you build an SEC offense around.

Our receivers, man... Woof.

The fumble and missing receivers may be rust. Having no situational awareness AT ALL is not rust. The decision on the interception before half, not understanding going for a big play on defensive offsides(twice), sliding before the first down marker, the decision on the 2-pt. conversion, not keeping the ball on a toss sweep and tossing it to the RB when the defender is in the backfield and has committed to the RB resulting in a 5- yard loss. That's low football IQ, not rust
