What happened with the Louisville shooting at Bungalow Joe's over the weekend? I didn't hear anything about it until a guy I know said his friend's son died.

According to the CJ, this was fortunately not a hate crime. I mean that would have been really bad. Instead just a triple homicide of some very good people.

Stay safe Louisville folks. Sounds like there might be some more non hate crimes in the next few days.

I'm personally tired of the muting after every damn play. Unless they're dropping F bombs, GTFOH.

They definitely dropping f bombs.

This new Orleans d isn't as good as Denvers. Vegas' offense looks good in spite of the injuries. Color me surprised.

The morning boat ride to the fishing spot in 50 degree weather was quite brisk today. Fish have begun their fall eating and it was on from the first cast! Caught so many my right wrist is killing me from setting the hook so I had to switch over to fishing right handed the last 30 minutes.

Sports wall to wall...about f’ing time...GAMBOL

‘Ol bubble boy here had to break out and finally eat at a restaurant. It was a tough choice, stay home forever and be safe or risk death going out with a pretty lass with cuffing season upon us. As Richard Pryor would say “I’ll be in that long line.”

you’re still alive?

Holy ****.

how’s Marissa?

Trying to think of the Kentucky equivalent of Alabama sending Tommy Tuberville to the US Senate and all of a sudden I’m imagining a world where Senator Bobby Petrino is a thing.

Doing some home renovation work and went to Lowes to check prices of lumber. Holy ish! Knew it went up but how much it went up was shocking. Remember back in the day when you could go buy a 2x4x8 for under a dollar. Right now it's almost $10 per board pending the species you get. Read where the average home will now cost you almost $17k more to build than it did in April but folks are paying it because of the low interest rates.

Oh, you mean shutting down the country for a few months is causing issues? Strange. Lumber is just 1 of many items manufactures, builders, contractors can't get. 2 weeks to flatten the curve, we certainly flattened a lot more than ICU admissions, that's for sure.

- (doc working feverishly on a "wood" joke in response to ukalum's post and Anth's reply)

- So now the cure to America's racial ills is simply to be sure and vote? I mean, sure, get out and vote, but I don't think that's it.

- Sun Belt football coaches have supplanted MAC football coaches as the next hotbed of talent.

- Took the kid out for breakfast after her race in Louisville on Saturday. Ended up down on Bardstown Road. She loves the vintage stores, but some of the spots were a bit too bizarre for her. "Bardstown Road is like the Aldi version of Haight-Ashbury". Okay kid, that's a reach, but I see where you were going with it.

- Ouch. Still going to be another day or two before I'm feeling normal again after that one. Huge thanks to the Boats for the hospitality, they've got that routine down to a science. Can't wait to do it again. And the new boat they have their eyes on . . . 👀👀

- Sabering a champagne bottle is indeed intoxicating, especially when you get a perfect, clean break.

- Bryson. Lulz. USGA big mad right now.

- What a finish by Pogacar. So much talent in their early 20's on the World Tour teams right now. Setting up to be a fun next few years. Just hope they can stay clear of any major doping scandals.

- The games overall left a little to be desired, but just to sit around with a bunch of friends on a Saturday, boozing, and having college football on in the background was amazing.

- I genuinely do believe we're going to win on Saturday and will be legit mad if we don't. Stoops and Co. have assembled an absolute squad, and this year is the payoff. Want to talk myself into 8-2 but think I'll stay at 7-3.

- Not a Reds fan, but this run they are on is ridiculously impressive and I have to imagine a lot of fun for their fans. Kind of cool to watch from the outside.

- The crisp chill in the air in the mornings and evenings right now is just perfect. Bring on the chili, soups & chowders, fall beers, pumpkin pie shots (looking at you, Josh), and of course plenty of brown water, neat. All of it. Ready.

-Sorry, already in a foul mood over the CDC Halloween recommendations that I'm assuming our overlords will take too far. Can't wait to see what type of **** show they designate as being safe. I mean, we eliminated tip off in HSBB games, so we should all be safe moving forward, right?

-My problem with the game is our offense is rusty and tentative Terry Wilson at Auburn. Really going need the backs and line to show up and dominate.

-May revisit the Texas style chili this year, that **** was dope.

-2020 TDF was one of the best start to finish sporting events I've ever witnessed. Stage 20 was incredible. Sport is so much fun when the favorites are vulnerable.

-3 days of (virtual) meetings, that are typically in person and a lot of fun ending with massive meals and lots of drinking. But none of the fun this year. Yippee.

-Alright Redlegs, let's do this. Back on the bandwagon and ready to be kicked in the nuts.

Speaking of chili what do you put in yours? Do you do noodles or no noodles? I like noodles in my chili. Always have to have a few additions: a few fritos in bottom of bowl before chili, a couple dollops of sour cream, 6-10 jalapenos on top, a sprinkling of shredded cheese and a few more fritos to finish it off.

So much cheese and ritz crackers that all chili's taste the same, a dollop of sour cream, and a PB sandwich.

We also make a little bit of macaroni on the side because it makes it easier for our toddlers to eat so I'll throw in a few noodles so we have more leftover chili.

- tailgates are canceled, moose out front shoulda told ya

- I don’t add noodles to my chili, my wife does to hers. That and having opposite political party registrations I think make us a great example of hodifferent people can not only coexist but thrive together.

- I do believe in using more than one type of meat in your chili is a must.

- Oyster crackers are good but every now and then treat yourself to some Ritz OR spicy Cheez Its. No, really.

Strange way to refer to your wife, but whatever works, I guess.
