As a Panthers fan I’m about to lose my mind. Cam is a player when healthy, and Rivera was a good coach. But now we have Teddy B and a f’ing Big XII coach who clearly thinks defense is optional.

It looks like football is the industry that finally put its foot down and said “we don’t give AF about your rules, we’re going to play anyways.”

Good.

One giant “F You” to the government.
THIRTY YEARS LATER

"Hi, this is football. We've been sued into oblivion by CTE victims and are now completely bankrupt. Can we get one of them government bailouts? 'Too big to fail,' etc., etc.? TIA."

I mean except when they go to the government to build them new stadiums... or charge the military ad rates for “support the troops!” programming... so maybe a medium “F You”?

- Was proud of Anth for taking on and fighting the many Social Justice Warriors on Twitter in support of Lee. Its sickening how the online mob mentality works and how people who are good people get "ished on" and judged over 1 thing instead of their complete body of work or for who they truly are as a person.

Add me to the list of folks who would happily donate to the @NotJerryTipton Press Room. Besides J Drum and a few select others, most of the reports who cover UK Sports have become a bit insufferable through the recent couple of years, becoming way too comfortable spouting their own political thoughts ad nauseum, and crapping on anyone who doesn't follow their beliefs.

-Great weekend of sports fo sho. Rooting for the Heat to have a Heat Lakers Championship. Was looking like a Fantasy Football win was all mine until Russel Wilson decided to throw 5 Fin touchdowns.

-Does anyone else really believe, like myself, that we are heading to Auburn and going to straight kick the **** out of the Tigers? I'm in full on UK is da best and cant be Beat mode right now.

-Jeep Weather

-Trinity VS ST. X Week Maybe the first time the game has been played somewhere other than a UofL Stadium, and without 10s of thousands of fans in place, but at least its happening. Trinity wins 42 -6 and SAE is still a *****.

-Does anyone still have access to the "old" GYERO of yester year? Seems someone had it saved somewhere and had a link to access it.

-Wife made some amazing chili over the weekend. BUT.... Why is it that chili is always better the next day? Does it marinate or something? Chili means its officially Fall and my bowels are officially mad at me.

-Boots and Vests

- I wonder if "Bama Mom" Will be at this years UK Bama game? I sit and think while having a sip of brown water, what is Bama Mom up to these days? Has she gotten into anymore altercations? Does she throw fists in the bedroom? I wonder how she explained that video to her kid's school's PTO she's probably a member of.

To this day the only Trinity people to ever talk **** to me about football never played a down themselves.

Congrats on your healthy brain, Huber.

The “grown man who cares way too much about HS football despite having never played HS football” has always been a fascinating creature to me.

I mean I care way too much about college and pro football despite having never played- because I wasn’t good enough to do so. On the flip side I haven’t given a **** about HS football since 1993.

Maybe it’s aspirational. I care about football at a higher level than I could reach. But that doesn’t make sense either- HS football is a numbers game/meat grinder and if you want to play some coach will at least find a practice jersey for you.

Like I said, fascinating.

Oh Brooks, just a little jab there buddy, not really **** talking. Its Pride Week bud and having a laugh with some of your fellow St X alums I'm friends with.

Wrestled for 4 years and played other sports there. Never did play football for Trinity as they weren't overly inviting for an unknown kid from a Shelby County public school instead of the Catholic School Toy Bowl crew. Was invited to tryout Soph and Junior years after they met me, but was 100% committed to Wrestling.

Maybe it was my 4 years of getting beat by Tendai on the wrestling mat, but my brain would probably not be considered healthy by most doctors standards. Thanks for the kind words though buddy.

I dug it up years ago (before the 2015 redesign). You could go back into the early threads in the 2000's IIRC.

Tried to see if I could find it again, but no luck.

What I think I know about Trinity(based on what Huber said) - they have a lot of athletes on the football team that didn't grow up in the Catholic Toy Bowl(whatever that is) circuit. IMO.

Way things are going these days, and the **** we used to talk about, it's probably best if all records are lost.

I had the same thought. I edited the post but will be happy to DM the link/info for anyone that wants to try to dig it up on their own.

UK hasn't been to a Final 4 since the mid-game start a new thread went away after the redesign.

Exactly.

Now you know where I was headed. Links are there with message boards, but message board content is gone. Whatever happened to LadyCat92, TXWildcat97, BillCosby, MattsCats, WettCat, or that character, BB de Knoct?

If St. X could not even score on MY Bowling Green Purple (now that I do not live in Madisonville), I have serious doubt they can keep up with the mighty Trinity Shamrocks.

Did anyone else receive a card from the UKAA asking you to call to verify info? It maybe legit but I would assume this type of stuff could be done online. And they had by graduation year wrong so kinda put my red flag up.

He'll get more votes than he did in 2016, but it'll never get back to the Reagan years.

FYI, the disdain for "flyover" country is nauseating. Oh, you're from Kentucky? How cute. Where's that?

Yeah, and people from Kentucky hold California in such high regard.

It's legit, sort of. They want you to call to 'verify' your info so that they can give you a sales pitch while they have you on the phone. I did it a few years ago, learned my lesson, and won't be calling again.

100% lock that UKO’s sleep habits never changed when he had babies because they’re “the woman’s job”.

No defense, but when my wife suggested we let the babies sleep in our bed I only agreed based on the fact if she chose to do so I wouldn’t wake up once or be bothered with anything in the middle of the night.

she agreed

Then I was still bothered and woke up nightly, 2-3 times actually, and I still have had my kids in our bed for 10 yrs.

once again, my advice is no matter how tired you are, suck it up, DO NOT GO THE “EASY” ROUTE.

“Some of that football you see in other leagues, you are not going to see Saturday. There’s going to be nobody open. We have to create our space. We have to get guys open. You have to work leverage and the quarterback has to throw it in small windows. We play 10 SEC games and I can promise you you’re not going to see that stuff where there’s green grass all over the place and easy throws and guys open, because we’re not going to see that.”
