In the grand scheme of things, it’s almost completely irrelevant. It’s ceremonial at best, and will mean absolutely nothing to anyone on the planet, save the very kind
thoughtful gesture to his grieving family.

Why anyone would be bothered or give even the slightest bit of concern or care to this is truly beyond me.

But hey, score another one for totally empty social justice victories. The world is now a better place.

Simple: He's not media.

Wouldn't bother me if they did. It's just dumb... like naming a baseball field for Cliff Hagan and a football field for CM Netwon. Surprised we never got the Tayshaun Prince Softball Complex.

Didn’t NJT and RJT meet because Lee became credentialed media?

I drafted Burrow in both my fantasy leagues with late round picks, fingers crossed.

Fun weekend with CSC crew at the lake. Had a really nice house overlooking the marina. Little chilly on Friday, but no pucks were given. I had never heard the WAP song before but now I think I know most the words. You let these women loose on a kid free weekend, shewee. I got a whole new playlist.

Taught our boy to saber champagne successfully, he’ll probably be wanting one now. It’s addictive.

Trying to talk the lass into a bigger boat, you know because with the kid coming we’ll need more space...fingers crossed.

Are y'all surprised he backtracked? He's a servant of the left which means he HAS to be on board with cancel culture or else the mob will come for him, too. He's made his bed this way so them's the rules now.

Matt Jones the person tweeted out the first take and woke careful contest winner Matt Jones made the retraction. Must be exhausting to live in that kind of perpetual duality as a public figure.

In the spirit of 2020 being what it is, attended an HOA meeting yesterday. Nothing like seeing a pissed off resident try to get into a fist fight with the HOA president. Good stuff.

-why/how did the "story" get out in the first place. People/institutions name stuff after folks all the time. Weird.

-went to swedish walmart with the fam yesterday. First 30 minutes is fun...the rest is tedious at best. Enjoyed time with the grls, though.

* The only thing missing from Matt Jones' ridiculous apology was the annoying term "mindful," and something referencing his own "privilege."

* Big news over the weekend, with Ruth Bader Ginsberg dying at 87 years old. I'm pretty happy with my own level of wokeness, but I'll be honest -- I'm not very knowledgeable of her history. As I've come to learn, the entire balance of the universe lay at the foot of her successor. The future of all humanity, and the direction of the world -- directly into a fiery pit of hell and chaos, or one of happiness and enlightenment and peace -- is perfectly tied to the judge who fills her unexpected vacancy. At worst, anyways. It's actually much, much more important than that.

Thanks, Instagram. 👍👍

* The Reds are 27-27 and currently in the playoff picture. Amazing.

* This Boston-Miami series has been great. Black Lives Matter really makes that engine purr, and Say Her Name is an awesome wingman. If I Can't Breath is on his a-game, and Free Willy and .....And Justice For All are knocking down shots, that clears out a lot of space for Free Tibet in the paint. In the end, I think I Before E Except After C is going to be too much, and Paper or Plastic is your MVP, while Taco Tuesday wins 6th Man honors.

* Deion Sanders is the head coach at Jackson State now, for some gd reason.

* We're like 5 weeks away from electing our next President. That seems very, very weird.

* My first home was part of an HOA, and I swore after my very first association meeting that I would sell my house, and never, never, ever purchase another like that ever again in my entire life. The WORST Generation, imho.

* Tip to winning the US Open: do 'roids.

* Tip #2 to winning the US Open: don't be Tiger or Phil.

-None are offended by this ****. The only thing I saw anyone dig up was in 2012, when the use of that word was fairly common. So he called a liberal beat reporter a "*****"? Wow. Don't share your political views on your little soap box if you can handle blow back. This is a chance for a sad faux liberal tweet mobs to attack aimlessly without regard for their actions. All because he was brazen and called out liberals. You're seeing the worst of it right here. Attacking the grieving family of a great guy. It's very sad. There's no "complicated" to it, it's disgusting, and I'm glad at least a few people have the backbone to stand up to that ****. Rolled around all night barely sleeping thinking about his wife reading that ********. Most just calling him a racist, show me anything that indicates Lee was racist. What a crock of ****. Should be ashamed.

-Almost saw a fight this morning. Trucker just blocked 2 entire streets. Flipped double birds to the lead car. Guy in the car was ready to go, popped out, walked calmy to the truck door, and waited. Trucker crawdadded.

-Pretty amazing weekend until last night. Sports were awesome, weather was awesome, G scored a couple goals in his soccer game, got in some good bike rides, had 1/2 drink too many Friday/Sat that was just enough to shake off with a large cup of coffee.

-Bryson, meh. Winged Foot though 👍

-Worked on the meatballs last night. Was a bit rushed but turned out great.

When Tipton was the one who released the information I couldn't help to think there might be some ulterior motives. I could imagine a long time media member not being too happy about the media room being dedicated to a guy who gained notoriety by mocking you.

Which is about the most self-absorbed media reaction to have and essentially why most within that industry are loathed. Only they can deem who is worthy for a *checks notes* 20 x 24 room in a building

Jerry has been really good about it, better than any other journalist would've, so I'll give him the benefit. Assuming the family or UK asked his opinion and he released it, looked like he even advised where to direct donations.
