Had dinner last night at one of only 100 restaurants in the world that has the Spanish Josper grill. Gets to a really high temperature and flash sears the juices in or some ****. To be honest by the time he was explaining it I had had about 5 of their signature cocktail which was bourbon with lemon and a Pinot noir float and I didn’t really GAF about whatever he was talking about. The dinner impressed the mrs however which was all that mattered [smoke]

Finishing up a coffee and getting ready to go to an apple orchard and go apple picking with the kiddos. Never been, looking forward to it. I’m about 5 months into no news other than this MB and the bubble life is still swell over here boys.

LeBron is such a *****. I only got 16 votes...boohoo. He does have a point about Giannis though🤴🏿

Tchaikovsky: 1812 Overture is a banger (with weaponry) watch any sunset synched to end. Profit

Beethoven: Symphony 7 II movement

As an Italian guy, French food is typically very fussy but when you get rustic French- it’s otherworldly.

1 week till Cayuts. Both UK flags on house are flying proudly.

Even better is Tyler Herro complaining because he got zero votes for MVP 🤡

Good Morning:

:: The Seafood Lady...my word. It's been a while since a meal made me euphoric. I'm sure some of it was due to hunger and a completely different menu than usual, but DAMN that was great! Real andouille sausage to go with all that seafood and potatoes. The glorious combination of crab boil and spicy butter that pools in the bottom of the takeout container waiting for you to drag crab meat through it. I'm a fan.

:: While I'm not ready to canonize Burrow just yet. I do like what I've seen to this point. He's way ahead of the rookie QB curve and I'm impressed with his play late in the game. The rubber meets the road when NFL DC's have enough game film and plan against him. I don't know if two is enough yet, but here's to hoping he keeps it going. With what he's done to address food insecurity in southern Ohio and what he means to his community I really like him as a person. It would be awesome if he turned the Bengals into a winner.

:: All that said he and AJ Green need to get on the same page. I watched all of his targets again and of the 13 about five were catchable. I'm sure Green's absence from nearly all of training camp and COVID didn't help at all. I do have confidence they'll get it together as long as Green can stay on the field.

:: Hell Yes...Country French >>> Fussy Haute Cuisine. The simpler the better. Actually, the simple stuff is harder to do exceptionally well since there is so little margin for error. As long as the ingredients are doing all the work you're on the right track.

:: Taking down the pool this weekend. Kind of a bummer to put it away knowing how much fun my little man has had during the back third of summer. This run of cool evenings has the water way too cold though.

:: Other than checking here every once in a while and obsessing over fantasy line ups I'm going to try and stay off the Socials today. I'm already overwhelmed by RBG news and I'm not ready for a college football Saturday yet. That's my Twitter feed at the moment.

:: The Big 10 and Pac 12 can get bent. If you're going to screw up college football for everyone else have the balls to stick to your guns. Take your seven and eight game flunkie seasons and dangle.

:: Yes, I re-watched "Miller's Crossing" this week. Still an absolute banger of a movie.

:: Tyler Childers nailed it. I'm proud he's from my neck of the woods. Damn right I donated to Hickman Holler.

Rack'em up fylm. I've decided to take a major step back from social media too. I will be watching copious amounts of football this weekend though.

Bottle Rocket soundtrack. @SAECATFAN this is right up your alley. Listened to it yesterday in fact while working. Great stuff.

Having an office get together in Golden Gate Park this afternoon. Hope we don’t get arrested. 🤡

The return of sports has made life feel somewhat normal. The Karens in my kid’s middle school FB thread do not. What a bunch of psychos. Wolken and Forde would enjoy.

I didn't delete the app, but I deleted the shortcut to it so it's harder to get to. I've noticed myself pick up my phone and instinctively go to the spot where the shortcut used to be several times, at which point I realized I h

Facebook stopped being cool when you were no longer of the age that girls posted spring break and Halloween photos on Monday morning. We're just not cool either.

The morning boat ride to the fishing spot in 50 degree weather was quite brisk today. Fish have begun their fall eating and it was on from the first cast! Caught so many my right wrist is killing me from setting the hook so I had to switch over to fishing right handed the last 30 minutes.

Sports wall to wall...about f’ing time...GAMBOL

‘Ol bubble boy here had to break out and finally eat at a restaurant. It was a tough choice, stay home forever and be safe or risk death going out with a pretty lass with cuffing season upon us. As Richard Pryor would say “I’ll be in that long line.”

Where were you fishing? My dad and I are taking my son camping at Green River Lake in a couple of weeks, hoping we can get on some crappie in the creeks for him.

Wolff

Roll eyes Booker (and Killa)

This new era is full of golf swing robots who all strive to have the same ‘perfect’ swing...with the same handful of instructors. Not to mention proven players who tinker nonstop at the expense of their natural game to fit “the mold”.

See: Speith, among many others.

Wolff is refreshing AF to me. Major Props to George Gankas for letting him be on his initial move, as all his crucial positions from top/down are near perfect.

We’re hosting a bubble with Detroit, Richmond, and Hartford and playing all three of them [laughing]

Even in a once in a lifetime pandemic Cal manages to make the home schedule awful.

This also rules out the Champions Classic being round robin.

80 Proof, I was fishing a huge pit above Chandler, IN. Caught several crappie while fishing for bass with a red eye shad. Did get 4 bass over 6 lbs with one being 7lb 3oz. The crappie were just average size of 1-1 1/2 lb. They’re still hitting on minnows but I was trying to catch a hog on crank baits since they have been feeding.

Rumsey brings back memories of my young drunk *** not being a puss and jumping off the bridge that was there. Didn’t think I’d ever hit the water as it seemed to take forever. After finally surfacing I figured out being a puss would have been the better option.Lucky I didn’t hit a fish or log and last time I jumped off a bridge.
