“Mitch McConnell is a hypocrite! He won’t want to wait until after the election like he did with Scalia.”

Screams someone who wanted Obama to appoint his replacement who now wants to wait until after the election.

It’s almost as if both sides can be hypocritical when it benefits their team.

I mean I’m a Republican and a lawyer and I’m not gonna be able to reconcile the two positions that are going to be taken by the Senate from 2016 vs 2020 other than “nyeah nyeah we’re in charge so suck it”

If that’s how we govern now then ok I guess.

I sure as f can do that considering the coup that just went down over the last couple years.

Meh- give it a listen. It’s one song. Basically, says if our folks from the mountains were getting shot and roughed up by the police, how long would it take us to come down and raise some hell?

It’s the truth.

Oh, that’s right, innocent people were just randomly selected by the police and beaten and or shot.

If said mountain folk were prior rapists, had a long criminal track record of hideous acts and were in the middle of committing another crime while resisting arrest I don’t give a rat’s *** if they’re green, white, black or turquoise.

I also challenge anyone to drive to West Louisville and see how many Black Lives Matter signs you spot. Here’s a little secret....NONE. The cat’s out of the bag, black folks see through the woke trendy hashtag ******** by a bunch of white honkies who don’t and never will interact with them yet find this movement convenient for political purposes or because it makes them feel intellectually superior.

I hope the right does wait. No need to try and ram anything thru like they are scared, as is with her gone the SC is a heavy right lean, therefore it’s fine in the meantime.

Now this does give one more reason for the left to be motivated, but still won’t be enough!

Look buddy- the artist here was sending a message of empathy, looking at things from someone else’s point of view. Considering where another person or group of people are coming from. I always think that’s a good thing.

I imagine his opinion is pretty close to yours overall. As is mine.

No clue how West Louisville feels. I base my black people consensus on the tweets of Alyssa Milano like every other normal human being.

Tyler Childers just delivered an impassioned, heartfelt speech that was played about as close to the middle as you can get. He didn’t play politics. He didn’t take a hard stance in either direction. He didn’t demonize anyone. He didn’t condescend or judge or throw shade. He just called for empathy and asked people to try viewing situations from another’s point of view.

If you take issue with his 5 minute speech, and if you’re pissed off right now, then you’re truly revealing yourself as a complete *******. Looking at you, UKO.

- Big fan of musical instruments, and hence, “instrumentals.” Let’s tip a cap to one of the great original American genres - ragtime. Scott Joplin could throw down.

- Also, hat tip to Pretzel Sloot for the Dream Theater shout-out. I suppose that’s standard fare in your un-air-conditioned dojo of doom?

- My boys are absolute savages. I wish I could bring them to the human equivalent of a dog groomer. Hair cuts, nail trimmings, teeth cleanings, a general good scrub. And a cute bandana around the neck when they’re finished. They’re heathens.

-Was interviewing someone for a position yesterday. When we asked the standard “what do you like to do in your free time?” question, she responded that she was working on a “fantasy manuscript.” When we asked what the story was about, she said LGBTQ slaves in nineteenth century Indo-China. Interesting. Hard pass.

- What’s everyone’s bird feeder setup? I put out black thistle seed for the song birds. Have a lovely avian extended family. I don’t mess with any of that cracked corn ********. Premium seed and premium birds only in this backyard.

- I do have a nice crow family living in the woods out back. Nothing like sipping on a glass of whiskey and observing the movements of crows. They are fascinating creatures.

- Stay healthy and virulent, my friends.

Old white guy here that lives in the West L'ville area (west of Owensboro), sure wish people would learn that Western L'ville is 100 miles east of West L'ville, TIA
I used to go to either West Louisville or Roam Inn to get beer/booze. I'm from Rumsey.

Way late to the plate randos

— I do 90% of the grocery shopping. If I’m going to cook dinner I want to make sure that I have the things with which I want to cook. That said I usually go to whatever grocery I want to get items from, based on what I’m fixing that night. Some things are ok from Kroger(s), some things I want from Midtown.

—Re fixing dinner. If I’m fixing dinner I get to choose. Eat it or not, I don’t care.

@80 Proof is spot on with the RC Cola take at Starnes but as I woofed down a Ferrell’s double cheeseburger with an RC Cola today, while on a house call, I couldn’t help but think that it would hold its own. (Only reason I will do a house call in Cadiz is so I can go to Ferrell’s)

— took the afternoon of the BCG opening PC off and watched with a buddy. First 5 minutes was all in. Was convinced the dude was perfect for the job. Dr. Pepper, cheese crackers, no wife/kids, all basketball all the time. Looking back what could go wrong. Not to mention the “Pop-Tart” diet. Still feel bad for the guy.

—it’s almost 2 in the am and it has taken me way too long to put this drivel together. Supposed to be down at the river at 6 in the morning to fish, probably won’t make it.

— I’m fairly certain that I had some other things to ramble on about but I am also fairly certain that I can’t remember what they were.

— Good night
