Andy does enough fear mongering on his own I’m not sure why anyone feels the need to make him say additional things he never said.

If you can watch the post practice videos from today Bossman Fat was one of the players interviewed😂.

I love that guy. Instead of saying thanks or bye he rolls with “ nice doin bidness wit ya’ll” in his LA swerve.

That was awesome.

Wright was awesome in his own way. I had no idea what language he was talking at first, but I quickly adjusted and realized he just talkin SEC like he sposed to. He also rocked top and bottom golds his freshman year, and I would like to see him put the gold grill back on more often and encourage his teammates to wear more gold. GD IT FEELS GOOD TO BE SEC.

Andy recommended masks in home weeeeeeks ago, fyi.

Buckshot Thursday randoms:

  • Purple tic-tacs were delicious - I know I bought them as recently as 2015 - yet they were allegedly banned in the late 60/early 60s for being efficiently carcinogenic
  • The Steelers logo is only on one side of their helmet because it was a first draft look internally - even though that was just a cost saving measure it resulted in ppl actually preferring the “logo side/ black side” look to the helmet
  • Lions are capable of emitting an ultra sound level the frequency that sometimes “freezes” prey ...rhinoceroses and I think elephants can emit sounds on the same frequency -
  • Similar frequencies of ultra sound can produce cognitive effects on humans - feelings of unease / nausea and cognitive disorientation are “entry level “ results
  • Long John Silvers was a Kentucky based company- Captain D”s was a Tennessee based company ....they formed within months of one another and engaged in a bizarre law suit later in where Ds tried to sabotage LJS market position/consumer confidence....the whole damn thing is an SEC rivalry spilling into the realm of ****** fast food
  • There’s a third atomic bomb off Japan’s coast -inert since the 40s
  • We can optically cloak stuff
  • During the siege at Fort Sumpter hours of artillery fire out into the harbor resulted in - one dead confederate horse as the sum of casualties
  • My middle name is Williamson

Wouldn't that be an infrasonic frequency, not an 'ultra sound?'

Elephants use infrasonics to communicate over long distances. Such low-frequency sound waves travel farther than do higher frequency sound waves. What's more, the large intra-ear spacing of elephants enables them to locate the source of such sounds far better than smaller mammals can.

Ultrasonics refers to sounds with a frequency above what humans can hear. Bats, for example, use ultrasonics in their echolocation system that allows them to fly in the dark and even "see" insect prey. Dogs can hear frequencies above what humans can hear, but bats use ultrasonics far higher still.

(Yes, of all the stuff on GYERO today, this is what I choose to comment on!?!?)

Not much pisses off Karl M Sportswriter more than Roger Goodell ploppin’ his nuts down on the chin of the sporting world. The NFL didn’t miss a beat (less the preseason which nobody cared about anyway). If they pull this season off without a major shut down just crown Goodell commish for life.

I mean, should there be a push present if it’s a c-section?

Didn't really push...

Oh wow. Lol.
3 C-sections here Dr Bob.

While push presents weren’t really a thing in the 80s and 90s when I had my children, my husband did send flowers and a nice gift of some kind while I was in the hospital with a huge gash across my lower abdomen and nurses coming in to push on my gashed stomach to make sure my uterus contracted and returned to it’s normal size.

So I guess there could be more than one kind of push present.

:) I know you were just making a joke, and I get it, but I guess I was #triggered.

One of the worst things about circa 2020 is the ability to take edited clips of someone's words out of context and then spread those clips to make it look like the person said something the didn't say.

I think Beshear has been a disaster and the idea that kids wearing a masks in school is absolutely stupid butwithsaid if kids are going to have to wear masks in schools then having them practice doing it at home so it isn't a shock when then do go back to school is damn good advice.

Good job everyone. Can somebody go gangbang a chick in inclement weather or something?

* I was hesitant about watching the game last night because of the reduced crowd, but I really didn't even notice. The start of football season has always been my favorite time of year, but I really felt it last night. We're getting there, folks. Slowly but surely.

* 14 year work anniversary today. That's unreal. Wish PTI hadn't had those ethics violations and was still here.

* So, is it no longer possible to send a direct message to another poster?

* I wish I hadn't yelled at UCL yesterday. I feel bad about that.

* I wish wcc hadn't yelled at me yesterday. I feel bad about that.

* So, any recs on the best insurance rates for home/auto? Adding a third car and two 16 year olds to our policy is going to SUCK. Currently with Cincinnati Insurance, but want to shop around.

* Watched the first episode of Cobra Kai and I'm trying to figure out whether to continue. I assume it's meant to be sort of tongue-in-cheek, and it had some funny moments, but Daniel is just an insufferable d-bag.

* Chocolate + wine is outstanding, but the wine needs to be white and on the sweet side, preferably sparkling.

* According to the kids, through their teachers, JCPS is getting an ish-ton of pressure to open schools when the first six weeks are up. I'm sure Oldham and Bullitt doing so adds to that pressure, but I've not heard of one teacher or student who likes NTI, or even thinks it's minimally effective.

* Friday 5:
- "Symptom of the Universe" - Black Sabbath
- "Another World" - Joe Jackson
- "1000 Miles Away" - Hoodoo Gurus
- "Just Like a Pill" - P!nk (I generally don't care for current pop/rock, but damned if I don't LOVE P!nk. And she's amazing in concert)
- "O What a Thrill" - The Mavericks

-Unfollowed Woke-n but some how still get his really awful BS when people call him out. What a miserable *****.

-Speaking of DBags, what kind of piece of trash drives around taking videos of other students partying? When colleges decided that tuition was more valuable than the risk to students everyone should've also conceded that kids have taken the brunt of this unnecessary ******** and just let them be kids. Honor code for having a party, lol. K.

This whole thing of shaming normal people for trying to make it through this nonsense with a semblance of normalcy is really f*cked up.

-KC crowd looked pretty solid last night.

-After all the belly aching after Paolo, our recruiting seems to be right back where it's been for the past 11 years. Like I said, we'll be fine.

-From Fakeshore, what label you got as the goat? Def Jam, CM, DR/IS/AM, BB? You all know already know where I'm going.

-Airing of political grievances has been a pretty common theme once every few weeks. It's cathartic and strangely I don't hate any of you after your takes yesterday. Other than Max, for that f*cking Simpson meme.

After 4 weeks of in class larnin:

1 asymptomatic case in a junior high grade. Got it from his or her momma. Kid is home for a couple weeks. No other cases in the grade/school.

This has been a catholic parents hate their children update from the River City.
We've had 2 separate events. Both asymptomatic. Cohorts each closed for 10 days, rest of the kids kept going. G cries when we pick him up too early from aftercare b/c he's having so much fun on the playground.

-Tell you what, watching Mahomes last night and I got that Tiger in his prime sensation. Shew, that dude is something else.

-Nice lil Chiefs cover.

-Favorite Elvis tune? Give me Suspicious Minds but I love just about everything The King laid down tbh.

-17 year old RedMax trimmer in the shop. May be the end of the line for the best piece of equipment I've ever owned. Goes back to my college lawn service days. Been with me every house I've owned since. I'm legitimately bummed about it but we'll see. Anything over $200 in repairs and I'll be buying its replacement.

-THAT SAID, I'm thinking about a brand spanking new 36" ExMark for the crib. Just a filthy consumer finance, 36 easy payments with unfavorable interest and a ding to my credit purchase. An I JUST WANT TO LIVE purchase.

-Chicken thighs getting a lot of attention lately it seems. May give them a shot this weekend.

-New Mizuno wedges. Tried Taylormade and a few others, but liked those best.

-Not sure about that WKU/CARDS line tbh. I'm just skeptical of that Music City Bowl win over dead man walking Miss. State last December that everyone is referencing as some giant leap forward.

-Enjoy your weekend, folks.

-When did Kindergartners start learning to read? Like 3-4 weeks in and this little bastard can basically read. I swear, to pass K when we were young, it was like tie your shoes, know the alphabet, be able to skip. He was well prepped from PK but still, intense. I like it.

He's also picking up quickly b/c of the youtube search function.

Good Morning:

:: Got a pork shoulder on the cheap, a full Sunday NFL slate, and H's birthday cookout this weekend. Gonna be busy.

:: Burgers, Keeneland Hot Dogs, and Steak Frites will hopefully make up for the likelihood of not being able to goof around in the pool.

:: Dry Brine the shoulder today. Smoke on Saturday. Pulled Pork sammies for the 1PM Sunday kickoffs.

:: Goodell and the NFL should be crushing this pandemic. He and the owners are multi-billionaires. They have the resources and they're using them thoughtfully. They would be getting killed if they screwed the pooch on this.

:: Don't get me wrong. Last night felt wonderful and I watched every second of that blowout (thank you CEH and David Johnson). It's awesome to see the NFL push the envelope when it comes to creating a solution.

:: Taking the little man to Malabu Jack's on his actual birthday Tuesday. He loves that place. It will be interesting to see how long his mask stays on while he cheats at miniature golf.

:: Just had H's best NTI session to date. Probably the second or third good one since this thing started. It's a struggle for sure.

:: We're choosing our pwn path through COVID. While it leans heavily to the side of caution we sure as Hell aren't going to be dicks about it. The shaming has gone too far and is only making things worse.

: Friday Five:

- "My Cat's Name is Maceo" - Jane's Addiction
- "Cactus Blossom" - Polyrhythmics
- "Love Rescue Me" - U2 & Bob Dylan
- "Listen to the Music" - Doobie Brothers
- "Egg Man" - Beastie Boys

Not trying to be a dick, but going to Malibu Jacks seems like basically throwing all caution to the wind. IMO. I mean, good for you guys, Henry will have a blast. Just sayin'.
