We ridicule Cal for only finishing in the Elite 8.

If Stoops ever finishes in the top 8, we will name stadiums, streets, shots and double decker sandwiches after him.

I absolutely love Stoops, but I think we are taking Cal for granted a little bit lately. We have a legit shot to win the whole damn thing pretty much every season.

Now, he needs to go out and get #9.

No clue how some of these whiners made it from 1998-2010.

Trump was very clear that if you have to be famous to do that. Jacob wasn't famous.

He sure is now.

But seriously, Catlanta's point is valid. While what happened to him was a bit excessive, is this really the kind of "hero" we want to build up? I get that cops aren't supposed to be the judge, jury and executioner, but our players need to be better educated on what horrible things some of these guys they named did before elevating them in a video.

IMHO, of course.

Kids, you too can resist arrest and get your *** shot one day if you just act like a total ******* (and are the correct color).

The Rock needs to file as an Independent and his opening speech needs to be word for word the ending speech in Rocky 4.

The entire country would profit.

- Nothing here at all for Rogan. Self-important douche.

- Snacks Daily is a fun little podcast to at least have some knowledge of what's going on with the market for someone who doesn't sit at a computer all day.

- Found out a neurosurgeon I work with has >10k shares of Tesla after the split. He got in very, very early and kept buying. Little part of me died as I was doing a toe amputation case on a 370 lb monster at midnight while he was home diving in his gold coins.

- Non scrubs and workout outfit has pretty much evolved to PM pants or AG jeans, PM/Bonobos shirts, and Jcrew/Lulu shorts. Also, knucks to @Bonzo Cat for the Ten Thousand Interval recs. Decent little pair of workout shorts.

- Rhone makes some decent stuff too, pretty sure they come from the same factory as lulu but they actually run sales.

- I think there's some validity to the issue with the PCR tests (dog whistle @anthonys735 ), but, as with everything, I'm sure reality lies in the middle.

- Friend made his own wood-fired oven out of stacking bricks and pavers over a firepit. That sucker got HOT. Got some fresh pizza dough, create your pizza, and profit.

- September 26th cannot get here fast enough.

It's not in the middle. There's not a validity issue. It shouldn't have ever been our go to test for mass purposes. The antigen should've been the go to. I'm sure there's a reason(obviously money) why we gravitated to a ridiculously sensitive and very slow test.

I figured that **** out in May when looking for places to send our people for testing. "Oh, the State of Kentucky sponsored tests take 3 days to get in and 3-5 days for results, that's f*cking worthless." Go get the slightly less accurate test you can walk in and have results in 20 minutes. When it came out the PCR can detect virus for 8 weeks we should've dropped that sucker immediately.

"Good intentions" is what Team America World Police had when they "helped" Paris. I don't think burning, looting, attacking innocents, destroying businesses, black entrepreneurship , leaving behind skyrocketing murder and mayhem fall into the "Well, they mean well" category

-Only thing that bothers me is when people want to raise awareness, and make changes, but then get all super offended when they meet resistance. BLM has good intentions, but it's also the driving force behind A LOT, and I mean A LOT, of really ****** rioting, several murders, destruction of our cities, and demonizing of police officers. You can't separate those right now and people aren't happy about it, not just racist slack jawed idiots, normal people. To these normal people BLM = riots. To expect everyone to just fall in line, and raise a fist supporting that, is ridiculous. Trying to shame them into doing it just makes it worse. I read in an article last night in the NYT, "it's dangerous to express an outside of the current liberal viewpoint." It's absolutely true and the worst part of that political team's movement. If you don't believe me or fall in line you're a racist, fascist, pig.

But yay!! Our super woke media continues to drive home that we must fall in line and throw a fist up because we enjoy watching these young guys play sports. Get f*cking lost. Maybe stop shaming people and have a conversation asking why they feel that way. Just tripping over their selves to prove who is the wokest woker on the beat. It's not unreasonable that people want sports and entertainment to be an escape from the stupid ********, just as it's not unreasonable that the athletes want to be viewed as more than that.

-Now that it's been mentioned, today seems like an ice cold Coca Cola Classic day. Didn't sleep well last night b/c of this BS.

Rack to infinity

It feels pretty good being perfectly capable of ignoring opinions I don't care about. If you have an informed opinion, I respect it but I might disagree with it. If you're loudly spouting your uninformed opinion, you're on my brain's ignore list. Most you get is a scroll by and a roll-eyes. Looking at you, Keion and KSR comment sections.

I'm not wasting my time arguing with people that won't use logic, reason, or understand nuance. I can't resist taking a jab at them sometimes, but I'm certainly not fully engaging in a debate or conversation, and my mental health is better for it.

I can't imagine being so wrapped up in either THE LEFT or THE RIGHT that it occupies a majority of my thoughts and 95% of my social media posts or engagement. It's just an awful way to live.

The current social media / political / media climate is exactly why we need sports. If we don't have them, a lot of people turn their interests to what we're seeing now. Pure unfiltered garbage with special interest groups, conspiracy theorists, entertainment news, etc... manipulating the masses and riling them up for clicks, views, ratings, votes and most importantly power and money.

Good Morning:

:: <--- Started the coffee machine without coffee this morning. OK...so it's going to be one of THOSE days. Earl Gray it is.

:: If you're getting in the kitchen and trying good for you. Especially now. I'm here to help if you get stuck. I don't know everything, but I'm confident I can point you in the right direction.

:: I HATE when cheffy/food blogger types **** on recipes or ideas that either aren't "haute cuisine" enough or utilize popular ingredients that are ripe for a snarky quip. The point is to give people confidence to get into the kitchen. Not everyone can trapse down to to the Farmer's Market for uber fresh produce picked by virgin silk gloved hands. If Hawaiian Rolls, Velveeta, Tyson, Hidden Valley and Hellman's are going to get people cooking at home more often, fine. Take your foodie snark and shove it up your ***.

:: Stoops has done what I thought was impossible. He and Marrow are going north and taking kids away from Big 10 schools not named Ohio State. The Youngstown, OH roots have been so strong that it seems like a no-brainer at this point, "Come down a couple hours south, play in the best conference in America, and never deal with a Northern Ohio winter during the season." I never thought I'd see so many players from Ohio and Michigan on a Kentucky roster.

:: The points of talent evaluation and player development are spot on as well. The number of pros on the roster have steadily increased during Stoops' run. There are potential NFL'ers in nearly all position groups. I don't think we've ever...and I mean EVER...seen Kentucky as deep with offensive and defensive linemen. This is what I love the most about the Stoops era. Our guys are big, bad and won't take **** from nobody.

:: I think it is scientifically proven that statues are in fact creepy AF. I'm with PTI on that one.

The statues outside the football facility are dope, though. I'm also a fan of the relatively new Lincoln one on the Waterfront. Also, of York nearby on the Belvedere. The Barbaro statue at Churchill is very impressive. Louisville native Ed Hamilton is one of the premier sculptors in the country, actually.

Learn statues.

If fashion is cyclical, so is conspiracy. Save the Children/pizzagate is just 1980s Satanic Panic recycled.

No, Susan, your suburban, middle class white daughters aren't at risk of being trafficked. No, you weren't stalked by a pimp in the Mall Road Kroger parking lot. No, Hillary Clinton and Tom Hanks aren't drinking infant blood, and if they are damn it isn't working because Hillary looks like...Hillary and Tom got 'rona'd.

Last I checked civilized people who are not in fact pedophiles do not support pedophilia. Full stop. Save the Children is nothing more than a dogwhistle, and it's disgusting. Maybe pay attention to the foster kids who are at risk of abuse, from their noncustodial parents or from foster parents or siblings who don't have their best interests at heart, or the women who end up in trafficking to support a drug habit. Or the thousands of kids not getting support from schools and social workers trained to spot problems because governors have shut schools down. Go on thecharleyproject.org and breeze through the lists of missing people. They are, by a large, not suspected to be missing because they were kidnapped, but missing because a ****** spouse or a drug habit killed them. Or a noncustodial parent whisked them away.

FFS. FTGE.

Also RACK anth. Subtlety is lost in 2020.

Was in on Tesla when it was about $80. Have bought and sold multiple times for nice profits but still with my jaw on the floor wishing I’d held on to it. Unreal. Hammered it and Apple after the crash.

Friend in Vegas told me about rich people getting blood transfusions from young people years ago, not actually drinking their blood.

Went to actual, in-person court this morning. Anyone who could possibly get out of wearing a mask did so but everyone else dutifully obeyed while being clearly over it.

And then there was one gleaming *******. A ****** public defender who is a hack and probably shouldn't even have a law license. He had on a full face shield, mask, and latex gloves. While sitting in an enormous courtroom well away from everyone. He's also in his early 30s and seems to be in good health.

What a prick.

Kubrick tried to expose all of it in Eyes Wide Shut and they killed him for it. Watch that last scene again, IMO.
