Had beers with a buddy tonight and was reminiscing about how much it sucks to be a fan of Cincy sports teams. We were both together in attendance at 2012 Reds-Giants (games 3-5), and 2015 Bengals-Steelers. Just a kick in the nuts.
He’s also a fan of the Cayts and we relived some of the brutal basketball endings since 2012.
At some point it dawned on us that the major bright spot in that time period was UK Football. ****, ten win season. Multiple victories in bowl games over major teams. All Americans. A shirtless quarterback who will punch you in the face and then run for 300 yards. If you had told me in 2012 that UK Football would be the bright spot in my sports fandom for the next eight years, I would have eaten a cyanide pill.
Enjoying these times for sure. Let’s kick Auburn’s teeth in.

That is generally what I do when I get together with friends to have drinks. I even throw in UK games to. Bet you guys were the life of the party. I think I would rather talk about cancer then that ****. Last thing I want to do when trying to have a good time with buddies is talk about ****** topics. Mood killer and those kinds of things.
