Trump has emboldened the dumbest, looniest elements of the "right" to let their freak flags fly, and the grownups are afraid to say anything because they don't want to piss him off. Once he's gone, the number of people who disown him and say, "Man, that guy was nuts! We never believed that stuff!" will make your head spin. But for now, it's more politically convenient to keep their mouths shut.

If these schools didn't think they were going to be faced with kids testing positive for Covid, I'm not sure what la-la land they were living in. I feel pretty confident, though, that school sports (and attending school in person) ain't happening this fall in Fayette County.
I hesitate to say that’s the dumbest thing about all of this because the level of dumb everywhere is through the roof HOWEVER you’re 100% right. When schools open up/take tuition money and then shut back down when the completely predictable and inevitable happens it’s aggravating in its dumbness.

I also think things that start on 4Chan are stupid, which is why I don't necessarily think people should be fired or doxxed as being Nazi White Supremacist when they play the circle game.

Dunno, this new goal of no new cases seems pretty sound. I think we should stick with it.

More or less- Obama, the Clintons and pretty much everyone against Trump are running a huge pedophile ring and Trump is the only one who can save America. Of course, it involves a bunch of other BS - they’ve roped in anti-abortion folks, the anti-vaxxers and any number of other loons- but that’s the foundation of it.

Big Norton Commons contingent who believe this stuff. If people out here believe this I can’t imagine what folks in places like Eastern KY think.

I think the “both sides” thing comes into play when your side likens the a Trump administration roll Nazi Germany. That’s equally as stupid.

My wife's backyard cat wasnt impressed with us leaving town for a night so it decided to kill and decapitate a large rabbit, and leave it right by the door. Our neighbor's young child who was in charge of feeding and walking the dog discovered the remains.

Biggest QAnon honks I know are white suburban folks who have some personal experience with MLMs. Unfortunately I am related to some of them.

I know conspiracy theories aren't new but I don't remember them being RAMPANT until "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" ATKOT. Personally I stick to conspiracies about Paul Pierce definitely poopin himself on the court, Stevie Wonder maybe being able to see, etc.

Speaking of pedophiles, I’ve got one particular friend who’s all in on “saving the children,” and occasionally posts about NAMBLA — the North American Man Boy Love Association, of course. They’re trying to normalize pedophilia and have it added as an additional letter in the LGBTQIA+ acronym.

Or something.

This is just an extension of Q’Anon, no?

Well anyways. She and her house mom friends did host a small walk/rally in suburban Kenner, LA to raise awareness, so NAMBLA better watch TF out.

The funniest thing about Q to me is that people think Trump is making a Q with his hand movements during speeches.

And not just politicians, but leaders of the worlds banking industries, high-ranking millitary personnel, foreign leaders, Bill Gates, 5G networks and others. And people are actually believing this and acting upon those beliefs. 🤪

Good call, 80. Thinking a human being is a good person and our former presidents heading a Satanic pedophilia ring are similar.

F off.
That ***** has enabled her sexual predator husband for decades. Every account by every person that has worked around her indicates she is an awful person. Always funny watching you wingers put on the blinders when it comes to your people.

Chad, you yourself can F off, bub.

The backlash will be tremendous. I predict massive legal issues for him once he's lost the presidency.

I’ve been critical of those idiots as w
Doncic went nuts yesterday, Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray went toe to toe last night, golf, bike riding, grilling, drinking, PTI lost in some woods somewhere, bourbon...........

But you guys in here pretending to be the political thread.

The fact that shaking your head about absurd conspiracy theories is political is disgusting.

-Krazy is right. Cant let WCC turn GYERO into a political thread again.

-Final TBall game. Boys fought their hearts out but lost in the bottom of the 3rd. Crushed popsicles and playground after like it never happened. Thankfully CC brought a few tastefully disguised seltzers. Appears I've been nominated to take of the manager spot for next year. So...

-On to soccer. 🤷‍♂️

-Risotto, such a sonofabitch to make but when it's done right, unreal. Stirring for 40 minutes sucks.

-Few chapters in "Short History of Everything" by Bryson that really dives in on the likely ways of our demise including Yellowstone SV. We're still pretty young as a species, and obviously at least somewhat intelligent, contrary to overwhelming social media evidence. I have faith we'll push through for a long time.

-Sounds like a group of the true freshmen are really pushing the older dudes. Love it. Vito getting tons of praise.

First of all, that genie’s been out of the bottle for four years. You all made that decision- NOT me.

Second of all, if you find it politically offensive to mock conspiracy theorists, then that’s on you.

Emboldened who to do what exactly?

These hollow statements hold little weight to begin with, but during this particular time when thousands of criminals are being emboldenedby THE LEFT to burn down and demolish cities, they're very stupid.

But like omg dude the tweets!!! The tweets are on fire!!!
